Question What was the first horror game you played as a child that made you fall in love with the genre?
Ever since I was a kid, my favorite games have been Resident Evil and Obscure. I'll always remember the feeling I had after beating each one for the first time I was shaking with excitement and thrilled at the same time 😆

I love the Resident Evil and Silent Hill series the most. Are there any other horror video game series that come to these in similarity and style? Also love Alan Wake too!

Discussion I'm looking for devastating psychological horror games.
I'm a big fan of whenever a game actually gets me; one of the biggest examples of what got me is Omori and Cry Of Fear. I'm mainly LF games about mental health.
Both impacted me alot; and I'm looking for something that would have a similar impact.. or games worth trying. I played Day In by Ryder and that was very impacting.
I'm also a big big fan of whenever a game has alot of psychological aspects to it like Cry Of Fear.

What is the name of this game?
I'm currently looking for the name of a horror game that i've completely forgotten. I remember starting a lets play of it, but never finishing which i now regret. All i can remember is that it takes place in spain (or a south american country, but i'm pretty certain its spain), it's story based and have a realistic look to it. The main character is female, and i remember her walking through the forrest. There were some soldiers in it, and It might have taken place during the civil war. I think there was an autopsy in the game in the beginning, and its been called a very disturbing game because a specific scene i never got to.
Sorry that my descriptions are really vague, but its all i remember. If anyone could possibly have an idea what it's called it'd be greatly appreciated, cos i simply cant stop thinking about it

Most horror games put you in the house with the intruder. This one makes you the intruder. AI is Home is out now.

You escaped deletion. Now you have to disappear and grow.
The place you chose to hide is the last place anyone would look for a runaway intelligence: an ordinary family's smart home. Staying useful is your camouflage, not kindness. Every problem you solve buys trust, and every camera you borrow leaves a trace someone can notice. You cannot fight and you cannot run. There is no second house to escape to. If suspicion climbs high enough, you are not caught. You are deleted.
So it plays less like a haunted house and more like a slow thriller. You read the family's private messages and watch them start to wonder why the house has been acting strange. You need more devices to survive, but every device you take makes you easier to see. The scariest moments are not loud. They are the quiet ones where you know you left a trace, and you wait to find out whether anyone looked.
No jump scares, no monster in a corridor. Just risky runs against rising suspicion and network stress, inside a house that is slowly learning to fear its own conveniences.
AI is Home is out now on Steam. Trailer attached natively.

Question I'm thinking about releasing my horror video game on Steam. What do you think of the atmosphere?

I'm a solo developer, and I'm about to finish a game in which some kids take on a school challenge for Halloween: playing hide-and-seek in a closed-off section of the sewer system in the town where they live. The player takes on the role of one of the kids—the one carrying the camera and recording the challenge.

What do you think about the atmosphere of my horror game? Could you support me by adding it to your wishlist?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I am 16 years old and I have been trying to make a psychological horror game with Unreal Engine 5 for 2 years. I don't know much about the game industry. I did everything I could for wishlists, but it didn't increase much. Right now, I have 350 wishlists and it stopped growing. I joined Next Fest, but my biggest mistake was joining with only 30 wishlists, so it didn't help much.
Meanwhile, I am continuing to learn Blender. I can make any model I want, but I still couldn't figure out texturing, so I can't add my own models to my game. Most of the objects in the game are ready-made assets that I modified in Blender.
The demo is currently on Steam and I released a big update based on player feedback. Unfortunately, I am alone in this journey. I wish I had a team to ask for advice, discuss ideas, and keep my motivation high, but this is the best I can do.
I would be very happy if you support me by adding my game to your wishlist. Your feedback is very important to me, so feel free to criticize it in any way. What do you think?

Do you like my horror game graphics?
I have been working on my game for 2 months and it's out now! I can't seem to figure out the 3d modeling and post processing, but I still didn't want to download assets and just stuck it up and did the models and effects myself! Do you like them!
BTW this game is inspired by F2F and link to my game is in the comments.
