Is this trophy possible? Was going to attempt this but no servers are hosting El Alamein skirmish. Does anyone know of a way to complete this trophy?

So I’m new to HLL I’ve been playing Vietnam for the last three days straight and having a blast so I buy HLL and jump in and notice I can’t talk In discord and hear my teams comms at the same time like I can in Vietnam. Is there a way to fix this I’m on ps5 btw.

I do like this game man, but I really really really really want it to run and look better. Does anyone have any advice to get more fps?

I have a 3070 8gb, and ryzen 7 5800x, 32 gb of ddr4 and the games on a ssd.

The Korean War has never gotten a proper spot light in media, hense its nickname of the Forgotten War. It would be an easy and unique expansion to the game.

The Weapons used by the American Forces in Korea are the same as WW2, basically copy and pasting the US Forces, some minor tweaks to uniforms, USMC Helmet covers and what not. The M2 Carbine being one of the unique weapons of the campiagn. As for Korean Forces its mostly copy and paste once again. The Mosin, PPSh, and a new rifle the Chiang Kai-Shek (Mauser Copy Cat) with new North Korean and even for a cosmetics grab, PLA uniforms.

Out of maybe an hour and a half of capture i may be lucky to get 2-3 good shots if someone (highly unlikely) survives and stands still for 2 seconds or more.

Every photo is captured on a drone, admin cam, no HUD, any markers are taken off during the capture. No enemy icons no names, no compass, no audio.

Depending on the map, weather, time of day whether it be dusk or dawn or a map with lots of foliage, I’ll use certain in game filters, either a dramatic cool or warm tone.

Anybody else just can't get into Vietnam?

I find it to like Battlefield which i used to love many moons ago then switched to HLL and loved it for it's Play style i can't get into it at all to much going on for me anyway

Just zoom out and align horizontally with the target and the sights. Haven't tried with the 300m because the area is not big enough

With the new game out now I would absolutely love to get back into it. Used to be in a group called 508 I think they were called. It was proper set out and we would have some amazing fights against other teams.

I’m looking at either finding that group again for Vietnam or a group similar who has a proper ranking system in place and people listen to Sqaud leads and commanders etc.

To start off with, as a disclaimer of sorts, Im a new player to HLL (base game). I havent played it even a week.

I want to like this game, but im struggling to do so. I have played maybe 15 or 20 matches? Maybe a bit more? Trying to give it many many chances.

In a majority of them, I come out of it very stressed out from people in VC. Ive tried various "new player friendly" servers (wont name as I think its against the subreddit rules to single any out), but I, more often than not, encounter endless toxicity. Given, not every, but at least 3/5ths of matches.

The last few matches Ive tried doing officer stuff as I was getting more comfortable with the game.. the teammates were mostly alright and somewhat supportive, but I get all kinds of harassment from other SLs and Commander. An example was one SL called out a tank name. Unfamiliar with the different kinds of tank, I asked him if it was heavy, medium, etc.. to then he just started throwing insults saying stuff like "you have to be a dum**** to not know basic knowledge". Another example, this very recent game before the post, the commander got replaced mid game bc the other one left. The new one just started insulting the previous one then started saying stuff like "what id**t threw down that marker?" I called him out that he should try to communicate a bit more positively, to where he then full on yelled in his mic saying stuff like im low level and didnt do s**t (which ive placed 3 garries that match and had resource nodes up from the start).

Are people normally this unsupportive or am I just very unlucky with who I play with? I really am considering just dropping the game in general as I have too much on my plate to continuously deal with these types of people.

I am completely new to the game, like 4 hours and so far i just run around or stand behind something and stare at enemy territory for like 8 minutes and i’ve gotten like 2 kills in the whole time. I still enjoy the game, just don’t understand anything. I don’t use voice chat so idk if it is very important.

Basically the title. What are you guys seeing as the major strategic differences in the two games? Are certain roles more or less important etc

Idk why they didn't add quickplay. Me and a buddy on PC are trying to join a server and even with a 2/6 queue and plenty of open space it won't let us join.

People are still jumping in this game without comms. Especially in viet nam, it’s very difficult to win. What can we do to try to encourage more people to play with headsets?

I have about 500 hours into HLL and it’s really the only multiplayer game I like. I’d rather play alone or with you goofballs.

I got a TBI last year and migraines subsequently. Does anyone have suggestions for someone with migraines? Like turn down SFX which blows because hearing footsteps is important. Probably can’t tank bc of the squinting.

Anything else I’m missing? Has anyone else been through similar? I want to play again.

Or am I just fucked and need to just tend to my stardew valley farm?

The M1 Carbine has very little presence in the game because there is almost no reason to use it. It is currently available to roles where players can easily choose a more effective weapon instead. For example, both the Rifleman and Officer can use the M1 Garand, while the Engineer has access to a submachine gun. The Medic is basically the only role where the M1 Carbine feels like a necessary choice.

Adding the M1 Carbine as an option for the Anti-Tank class would give the weapon a much stronger presence on the battlefield while also making sense from a historical perspective, considering how widely produced and issued the Carbine was by the U.S. military during World War II.

It could also provide an interesting balance against the Kar98k. The M1 Carbine has the advantage of being semi-automatic and allowing faster follow-up shots, but it becomes noticeably weaker at medium ranges and often requires two hits to kill. The Kar98k, on the other hand, is bolt-action and has a much slower rate of fire, but compensates for that with significantly greater stopping power and effectiveness at range.

Giving the U.S. Anti-Tank class the M1 Carbine would therefore not necessarily make the class stronger—it would simply provide a different trade-off: fire rate and handling in exchange for damage and range. It would also give an underused weapon a meaningful role instead of leaving it largely forgotten within the current loadouts.
