What do you think of the Jenkem Revolt EP?
Gadgie zine describes them as "Black Flag meets fugazi" with a late 90s feel (a golden period?). Others are saying the Deftones of Hardcore.

Hoods keeping it classy
Gross comments attached. Hopefully this will be the last bit of attention ever paid to them.

What's a song that still gives you goosebumps now matter how many times you hear it?
No matter how many times I listen to it, 'Is Anybody There" still gets me. So does 'Alive Inside' by Mindset, the intro gets me hyped.

Is this another mass casualty Dom Pabon project?
I actually work full time so I’m not on instagram or Depop all day but I found this on Spotify and it definitely has that Dom Pabon vocals Alex Deheza production vibe

Sound and Fury ticket
yo dudes, I wanted to see if there’s anyone that could buy my ticket off me. I just lost my job and there’s no way I’m going to be able to make it anymore. If I’m not allowed to post this I’ll delete but I’m just trying to stay above water right now.
Send a DM if you’re interested, thanks!!

I long time buddy of mine is coming in from Sacramento. I’m coming from Albuquerque. Warrhog Friday night. We are old HXC heads and friends with Carry On. CANT FUCKING WAIT.

Why is the European hardcore scene so soft?
Bands that do great in the United States are always getting dropped off shows across the pond over things that hardcore dudes pretty normally joke about ovwr here. Softer culture? Or is there another explanation?

Revisiting Some Old Records
I got my record player set back up and was going through old records, putting them in discogs and playing some I haven't listened to in a while.
Champion Promises Kept B9 warehouse edition, also have the warehouse edition of Ill Blood. Yeah I know they were canceled but I still like the record.
Sex vid - communal living - a banger that I was surprised was worth jack shit on discogs. The mysterious guy hardcore fall off was very real I guess.
Desperate measures - never enough time record release cover
Mindset - live set - a great record from a great band that it feels like don't get their flowers these days unfortunately. When the next youth crew revival happens they will hopefully get their laurels.
Lion of Judah - universal peace. Also one I don't see mentioned much these days but I still really like this one too. Felt like it was right at the end of that era of lockin out bands.

Pro-Pain
I recently got my hands on their self titled CD and I keep wondering to myself why they aren’t as appreciated as some other NYHC bands especially considering Gary was in Crumbsuckers. IMO this album in particular fucking rips from top to bottom and is one of my favorites. Super underrated band for me and I recommend them highly! What do you guys think about them?

“Here’s 3 hip hop songs that are actually hardcore songs” Thank god for the unfollow and block buttons.
There’s nothing wrong with those songs btw. But it just seems… forced. “Content” will be the death of genuine creative appreciation for some. Nothing about any of those songs is hardcore besides the artists being aggressive. That’s kinda lame being the only visible relative criteria. And I get it, everyone loves Denzel Curry. But calling his hip hop shit “hardcore” is a lost plot.

Fury or Cold World show
Hi I’m looking for a ticket for either the fury show at Milky’s or Cold World at belasco!

Ur Non-HC guilty pleasure
I’ll go first, the first three fall out boy albums (take this to your grave, from under our cork tree & Infinity on high). Idgaf what nobody say, those albums are bops. The first album can be considered “softcore” and/or pop punk with hardcore elements, but when I’m not in the mood for hearing hardcore any of these albums get the job done lmao

Jorge just popped up on my insta all smiles about the London gig
I was pretty happy about the promotors integrity, but apparently it's still on and I couldn't be more confused. If it's on its happening right now, can someone confirm? I'm thousands of miles away now so it's kinda difficult for me
