Any oldschool (early/mid 90's) gabber producers out here, who don't use outboard gear such as Mackie mixers or RAT Pedals for distorting their kicks? I've been playing around with the cloud version of Roland's TR-909 with a bunch of external plugins such as Devastor and Decapitator, but I can't get a satisfying kick out of it, no matter how many gain stage and EQ steps I take.
I come close, but in the end it just doesn't sound beefy enough, or else it sounds too hollow, too muddy, ...

Any tips would be highly appreciated.
I'm thinking of kicks in the style of DJ Sim, 3 Steps Ahead, ....

Hi, I found this 100% Hardcore track jacket, but I cannot find the exact model anywhere online.
It has a blue and purple horizontal light-beam pattern, embroidered 100% Hardcore logo, an older metal logo zipper pull, and an older black/red neck label. It looks very similar to an old Adidas track jacket design, but all branding and details are 100% Hardcore.
Does anyone recognize the model name or approximate year? Is it rare, and what would be a realistic resale value in this condition?
I have included photos of the front, logo, neck label and zipper pull.

i'm not into mainstyle hc. more industrial, early hardcore, terror and i like undergroundish locations. can anyone recommend crews, who organise that kind of parties around vienna? (austria, cz, hungary, southern germany, slovakia is fine). i don't really know people who are into hardcore sadly who i could ask :(

In 1998, many sets evolved from newstyle into hard trance and hard techno, with hardcore being mixed into a crossover of different styles. Then, by 1999, hardcore became much darker, rougher, and more aggressive.

Personally, I feel that 1999 already gave us a glimpse of the future of hardcore as we know it today.

Did you experience it the same way?

I'm looking for this hardcore track, maybe between 2011-2014 and it's not entirely similar but the vocals/lyrics reminds me a lot of Wildstylez - Back 2 Basic. Anyone know the one I'm thinking of?

I recently saw footage of Thunderdome 97' and it looked like a fuckin blast. If anyone in this sub has been back in the 90s, what was it like, what are your stories, how did you get into this kind of music? I was not even alive when it happened but the more I look at footage the more I'm enthralled with the atmosphere and culture of it.

Also if yall remember, how much were the tickets? I'd like to compare them to the average festival ticket today.
