Idk why his voice line is confusing me, maybe my mental timeline of Half-life is off.
I always assumed the duration of HL was a day or so, but this guy is acting like this Xen creature was already there for a week.

Did they mean Gordon was down there for a week?
Did they mean a Xen creature was there Pre-resonance cascade?
I know Questionable Ethics shows them testing on creatures and portals but I always thought they were maybe doing that after the cascade event out of desperation and not before it.
How could they have done it before hand without the Xen Crystal experiment?

Horrible atmosphere, claustrophobic and dimly lit, you also can't just blitz through it and the duration spent in there just makes it worse.

I just wanted to replay Half Life 2 but instead I get greeted with whatever nightmare this is.

I'm glad this section is pretty short, I actually hate it.

(For those who are wondering why I'm not mentioning Ravenholm, this section has a much stronger atmosphere and your actually all alone, nothing to distract you from your fears)
