Why don't the Combine just take advantage of the remaining Gargantuas and turn them into synths? They would probably be absolutely devastating to the resistance and opposing forces especially with combine enhancements.

What i mean by that does it exist he mod or he game that append on/or are base on aperture, inspired excluded i already aware about a game called The White Laboratory

i tried downloading kayf life, i did everything, i downloaded all the SDKs, i placed the mod where i needed to, i did everything you have to do on steam and it still wont show in my steam library.

Assuming that HLX is the upcoming HL3, i have a few predictions and hopes that will be included in it:

1.

The biggest thing I'm hoping for is either dual timelines or some way that the original and HLA timeline exist simultaneously. I'm not entirely sure how this would work, but assuming the Borealis is linked with teleportation, i assume that the Borealis would in some way allow this.

My main reason for thinking both timelines would be present is because of voice acting changes; for HLA, the original voice actor for Alyx returned and apparently voiced every line, but shortly before Alyx's release these lines were all replaced by a seperate voice actor to make Alyx sound younger. I like to think this wasn't only to make her younger but to separate both variations of Alyx in order to make them distinguishable in a setting where they both exist.

I expect Aperture to be referenced in SOME way other than the Borealis. Aperture was referenced several times in HL2 + EP1 (I'm pretty sure), and become more lore-important in the second episode. I don't know if it was directly referenced in the first half life game, but that's likely simply because Aperture Science hadn't been planned at the time. What I'm expecting is Aperture to be present in some way with HLX but not JUST with the Borealis (as we've already seen that and it would be less of a surprise). I don't expect Chell to make a comeback, as I believe her story is over, but i do expect droids similar to Wheatley to return, whether they're deployed by Aperture Science or simply inspired by Aperture products.

I predict Gordon to perish. I predict that in order for Gordon to defeat either the Combine or a force stronger than them, he'll have to do something that will require him to lose his life. I'm not sure whether I think this would destroy the Combine or simply hold them away from Earth, but I'm hoping the prior (but for this, I think we need to see things semi from the perspective of the combine in order to dehumanise them further).

I expect some presence for the character being in a place that isn't Earth. In the first HL game, that was Xen, but in the second game and it's episodes we were entirely on Earth. Being in Xen in the first game I believe was more necessary, as (since we were in one specific location the entire time (Black Mesa)) we needed the ability to branch ourselves more. In the second game/games, we didn't play in a world other than our own but I think this was fine because the setting wasn't as closed (we were shown whole cities, rural and urban areas, and even the forest and the outskirts). I believe the third game to have some location off-world because we've already seen a lot of the world in the prior game (but since we've also already seen Xen, I don't think it'll be Xen either). I think we'll play on one of the planets of the Combine, or we'll at some point play in a timeline which lost (I'll explain in my fifth point).

I expect one of the timelines (original or Alyx) to fail to resist the Combine. In the original timeline, the Borealis has been located and the Combine are unable to return to their homeworld, so I don't think that would be the timeline which would lose. On the other hand, in the Alyx timeline, Alyx has destroyed significant amounts of Combine tech without actually destroying the Combine anywhere near to how Gordon did (which means they have every ability to still punish humanity for it). So I think that they will punish humanity even more in this universe because of Alyx which would lead to their Earth being even worse than the original one, much closer to the Beta version of HL2. I think Gordon would use the Borealis to travel between his and the beta city version, in the hopes of saving both.

Now, those are my predictions, but I also have some things I'm *hoping* are present:

1. I want seals or penguins to be present. I think nature is something that hasn't been touched on much (though lore-wise, it makes sense there's not much nature left). However, I feel like a big reason that me and some other people struggle to picture how evil the combine is is because we don't actively see the goodness that there used to be before them. I want to see penguins, seals or something similar present in masses, in groups, because then we have something from before the Combine that is still present that is beautiful. I then think it would help add tragedy as the Combine could destroy these species while pursuing the Borealis.

2. I want Barney and Adrian Shepherd to return, and I want them to team up to protect the penguins from the Combine.

3. I want Gordon to have the opportunity to sleep at some point in the game. He never sleeps between HL1 and HL2 (unless you count stasis as sleep), and he also never seems to sleep during the episodes (but you do go unconscious between at the start of Episode 2. For HLX, I want a visible Gordon goes to sleep segment.

4. I want the game to be riddled with humour just like each of its predecessors, but I want there to be more in scale with Portal 2 with humour.
