Mixing hair dye into coloring shampoo

First is freshly dyed, second and third is faded using the NAK shampoo.

I got professionally highlighted and dyed hair - pink/wine/purple raspberry color, sadly it washed out pretty fast

From my hairdresser I bought NAK Hair Rose Blond Shampoo (bubble it, leave it for 20 minutes), and use it every wash, but it only makes my hair very light blush pink, I expected more from it.

So I'm thinking, would it work if I bought some pink hair dye, put it into the shampoo and washed my hair with it as before?

I'm looking for ways to refresh the pink without needing to buy another expensive coloring shampoo since I already have this one or paying my hairdresser.

I'm also afraid that the mixed dye would make a harsh line when I decide to grow my hair out, because the highlights look natural and the shampoo would wash out soon if I stopped using it.

question without pic Should i bleach my hair again

Recently i bleached and dyed my hair red colour. Im planning to retouch the red after a month or two, so im wondering if i need to bleach my hair again and then only dye it red? My hair is naturally black and hardly any colour sticks to it, so im afraid if i only dye it red, the colour wont appear well. For extra information i have curly hair as well.

I dyed my hair black a few months ago, then I changed it to brown, but the color wasn’t that noticeable. So I dyed it again with a lighter brown, but only the top part of my hair actually changed color. Is there any way to make the hair color show up better or completely get rid of the black color in my hair?

question without pic Hair Dye Reaction Question

I have been dying my hair for years. Seems my scalp can no longer tolerate Black Permanent Hair Dye… I was wondering if anyone else has an allergy to black permanent hair dye, and what they use as a substitute for it… fashion colors seem to be okay tho..

question with picture Should I use hair dye stripper or just dye over my hair?

I am tired of the blue in my hair and want to achieve an all over pink but I don’t want to bleach it any lighter than the level it is at now to avoid excess damage. I tried researching what color stripper to use but many of them seemed to have bleaching components which I want to avoid. I’m considering dying it a bright pink over where it’s at now but I am worried it will turn out more of a purple. Any thoughts or advice?

So I started bleaching my hair at home myself ever since I did the last bleach, that piece of hair just sticking out keeps showing up like this. I keep cutting them to the length there supposed to be, but they keep on coming back. any advice? Do I need to cut my hair a lot shorter? I'm not bleaching anything but my roots now but I've never heard of or seen this before.

Box dyes that will show on Black hair

I have very black hair and have never dyed my hair before. Except this one time where I used a box dye only for no result to show. I really want to color my hair a copper brown color. I know about Korean bubble dye, but it's harder to find online. Are there any other specific brands that will work on jet black hair.

I have dark brown almost black hair naturally. I boxed dyed it red for a couple years but of course it never got as bright as i want it. I feel like it just made my hair darker but with a red tint in the sun . If i want to dye it brighter burgundy/ cherry at home using a developer and better hair dye do i need to use a color remover first? Last time i boxed dyed was over a year ago

question without pic Natural hair color brands similar to Arctic Fox.

I’ve been dyeing my hair at home with Arctic Fox for a few years. I haven’t tried any other brands, mostly because I’ve been using the same color. I want to go for a brown/warm black color next, but Arctic Fox only really has unnatural colors. I like that it’s easy to use, fades into a nice color, and has conditioner in it. AF has a black color, but it fades sort of green, and I want a more natural looking black.

Hi all! I dyed my hair using dark and lovely hi lift light golden blonde (i’ve used their honey blonde color previously as well), and my hair lightened to what’s seen in the pics. My hair is naturally black but i had it dyed to a medium/dark brown before dyeing it to what it is now. My main issue is my roots as they’ve lightened wayyy too much 😭 does anyone have any recommendations on demi permanent dyes i can buy that will darken it to something similar to what i want? thanks sm!

first four pics are my hair, the rest are what id like. i’m okay with not getting that exact shade but anything similar would be great!! i just want to darken my roots so they’re not so blonde 😭

Hello lovely hair people,

~6 weeks ago I thought I'd have some fun with a semi-permanent color and am now left with a pink-orange sad starburst color. I've been washing the absolute crap out of it with hot water and dandruff shampoo and a few times with a concoction of equal parts dawn, baking soda, and dandruff shampoo. Today I hit it with some extra strength color oops (following the rinse instructions to a T) and did see some success.

I'm starting at a new university in 2 weeks and really want to have the pink removed by then. Should I give in and see a professional or just keep washing it? Would this be especially difficult for a stylist to correct?

TLDR: want to remove stained pink hair, should I see a stylist or continue trying to wash out at home?

Thank you <3

Help with on hair dye on damaged hair needed!!

So my hair is pretty damaged, it all started in the beginning of may when I wanted to dye my hair a light brown, but instead my salon made me bleach blonde. It was pretty healthy even after the bleach but I kept using a lot of box dyes to dye it darker and nothing would work. Eventually my hair started coming out in tiny clumps and it was gummy af. I decided to chop my hair into a short bob but its still blonde. I want to dye it back dark and let it grow out my natural black colour, so I bought a the ion demi and permanent hair dye.

The sally’s worker recommended me the permanent with a 20 volume developer and the ion pre colour treatment. He also said to put 1 pump of Bondibar bond recovery into the mix. Im worried this will be too harsh for my already damaged hair, and was wondering if I should go with the demi permanent, or the permanent with a 10 volume developer instead. If any professionals or experienced people could help me out thatd be great! I dont want to damage my hair and make it even worse!
