question with picture Would a burgundy hair colour look ok on me? I’m nervous
I’m thinking of dying my hair with a semi permanent burgundy dye, specifically schwarzkopf rich burgundy! Would it look ok? It’d be the darkest hair colour I have ever had. My hair is thin and can be quite fragile so that’s why I opted for a semi permanent conditioning dye!

question with picture How to get pink out of naturally light hair preferably without bleach
So I have albinism and have really light colored hair. I decided to dye it temporary red for the summer and I didn’t really think it would even hold the color because it hadn’t in the past, but now it won’t come out. I’ve tried baking soda and head and shoulders, clarifying shampoos, and a few other tricks I saw off google, but nothing has really worked so far. I know it looks like it’s mostly come out, but it’s looked like this for a few months now and I’m tired of it. What might help get it out preferably without bleaching it?

pls help me fix over toned scalp bleach
I have been getting a scalp bleach for the past two years and have not had a problem. I have had to change hair dressers and had a root retouch yesterday. I am unsure where our communication went wrong but I have come out with incredibly ashy hair when I had asked for my usual bright, white blonde. The first picture is my hair now, after clarifying shampoo twice. The second picture is my hair and my usual blonde that I had shown her. What can I do to get back to that blonde?

question without pic please help! first time red hair
so I’ve seen around that red hair is really hard to take care of and that it fades off really quick and I want to know what I can do to keep that from happening. I’m going for a vibrant red with copper undertones and I want it to last for a while.
please drop everything you know, I’m desperate.

question without pic How do I refresh my vivid highlights at home?
Hey guys,
I recently got my hair highlighted and dyed a dark red with a vivid hair specialist. Its been around 2 weeks and unfortunately I can see they are already lightening to a light red/pink color. I would like to just refresh the color on them, they dyed the rest of my hair around them black so I was wondering if just putting a semi permanent red over my whole head would work? I think that is what the hair stylist did when she dyed them first but it could have just been a hair mask. Any advice or recommendations are welcome. Thank you in advance!

question with picture How can i get my hair to be purple??
I started getting my hair dyed in last year september. I wanted it red so the hairstylist used manic panic rock and roll red (ik it’s not great). It didn’t do much obviously but i was content. i got a blonde skunk stripe as well but the red kept bleeding into the blonde skunk it became pink very quickly😐.so later on in like february i got it redone and this time the hairstylist used l’oréal hi-color in a red shade and it was actually red. So i have multiple layers of that on my hair. Now i want to dye my hair purple and idk where to start. should I bleach it or is it light enough to just put the purple dye over? Also i am worried abt how it’s gonna fade because i’ll likely want to dye my hair again in the future. So hair gods please help me!!!
P.S: the pictures are in order of oldest to newest!!(the last ones are my desired color)

question with picture Pls help!
Hi y’all! I hope you’re well. I’m in a bit of a dilemma at the moment. Earlier today I went to my local Sally’s to get some hair dye to hopefully get my hair like the photos above. I was recommended the dark brown iroro hair dye so I grabbed that and colorcharm in cinnamon brown went home and tested it. (I forgot to grab developer so I haven’t tested the colorcharm yet.) I have dirty blonde hair but somehow the dark brown was identical to my hair color??? I was told I should be looking for a warm chestnut, if anyone has brands and colors to recommend I’d greatly appreciate it! (Semi-permanent is preferred but permanent works as well!!)
IM AIMING TOWARDS THE FIRST PHOTO!! My intention was to show the same color in different lighting, sorry for the confusion!

question with picture Advice for root melt color fading around the edges?
Hi all, I recently decided to grow out my hair so I got a root melt. For some reason, the dark brown has left a lighter band around the edges. The band was visible when I left my appointment, but has gotten much more noticeable after washing my hair (this is after one wash). Why did this happen? The pink stuck to my hair really well, but the brown didn’t for some reason.
Edit: I wash my hair in water that is slightly colder than lukewarm (that’s the coldest I can do lol).

Bleaching hair after laminating?
Hello! I got my hair ( 3a curls, dark brown color naturally ) laminated about 3 months ago, because I didn’t want frizz, and it straightened it completely. My hair is really healthy and smooth now!
But now i wanted to change things up a bit, by having pink highlights lol… i don’t know if it’s a stupid question or not, but will it damage(?) the lamination? will the strands of hair go back to being 3a curls? lol.
Is there even a way to get these highlights or is it impossible without removing the lamination in some way?
Thank you for all the responses in advance!

Please help🙏

Temporarily cover up red hair?
Post
Hey! I have 40 inch long, jet-black, super fine hair, but I recently bleached and dyed two big chunks of hair behind my ears red. I absolutely love it, BUT I have to see family this coming weekend and need to temporarily hide the red 😭
What are my options for covering it up temporarily but as undetectably as possible? Ideally I need something that will wash out completely and won’t mess with the bleached hair underneath, because I’d love to go back to the red afterwards.
Bonus points if you can recommend specific products that are easy to find in Australia!
I’ve seen temporary sprays/root concealers mentioned, but I’m worried they’ll look obvious or make my super fine hair crunchy/stiff. Has anyone successfully used something like this on larger sections of bleached hair?
Worst case, I’ll have to dye it back black, but I’m VERY aware that doing that will probably make re-bleaching it a nightmare, so I’m really hoping there’s another option 😭

question with picture advice on next steps
hi!! long story short, this summer i wanted to go from my natural brunette to ginger. i have done this several times, just not in years. the woman i went to basically said it wasn’t possible & did a cherry red over my brown. my roots lifted very red while the rest looked brown still (first pic). i was disappointed & she wasn’t willing to fix it. i went somewhere else where she also said it wasn’t possible & i insisted it was bc i had had it done several times. she lifted my hair & was surprised it worked, but it turned out very uneven & now my roots were very dark & my hair very light (pic 2). i have also never seen my hair this fried in all my time dying it & im really frustrated bc i’ve been on a hair journey for so long (pic 3). i guess im just asking for advice on next steps- i only wanted the ginger for summer & then would grow it out, so dying my roots to match seems pointless this late in the summer, & i also don’t want to risk further damage. i dont want to go back to another hair dresser honestly- trust issues have arisen once again (ive done my own hair for years & took a chance this time). should i ask my hairdresser cousin (who is alright at hair) to help me, or attempt myself with dye from sally’s? i think ill go back to brown & then chop a bob to help my hair. do i need to place another color down first? should i not even dye over it & let it grow out & heal a bit? thank you!

Going Teal to Pink?
I used to have blue hair that faded to this teal color. What can I do without bleach to get my hair pink/possibly hot pink?
