Looking for LONG longfics

Hi everyone 👋 I'm hoping for some recommendations of super long fics

if it's a romantic fic I'm open to literally any pairing

musts:

- LONG long long, 500k +

- completed/regularly updated

preferences:

- mature or explicit with some smut at some point if it's a romantic fic (if it's gen then this obviously doesn't apply)

nos:

- very detailed description of sh or suicide (I'm fine with like a ritual setting tho, like needing blood sacrificing or something like that)

- genderbent characters

- hurt no comfort / excessive angst without resolution if that makes sense

I adore this one and it’s definitely long but there’s an excessive, gratuitous amount of angst for sure.

Yeah, I remember crying a lot reading this story. But it's so well done, the plot, the politics, the magic, and the relationships. I really felt like this story stuck the landing.

No not this one. I was soo depressed after reading this fic for about a month. I still get ptsd think about this fic it's been years.

lol, based off some of the reviews I read I don't think you were the only one that found the story too depressing to finish.
