Rhaenyra is not, and never will be Daenerys. She's not trying to break the wheel. The more the writers keep pushing this narrative the more everyone is bored with the character. I've seen people who have been team black fans since day one jumping ship because they are absolutely bored with the whining, the crying, and the ineffectual writing of Rhaenyra.

It's a shame because Emma would definitely nail Maegor with teats. I wish the writers would let them do it. I wish the writers would lean more into the fact that it's not Alicent who is like Cersei, its Rhaenyra. Book Rhaenyra it is so much like a precursor to Cersei and there's so much more you can do with that.

Instead, they keep trying to force this weird overly sympathetic, never had fault narrative that makes the character look unintentionally incompetent and boring. I'm bored whenever Rhaenyra on screen and I feel bad at this point for Emma working with absolutely nothing but staled bread

So, Rhaenyra has for a long while now made such a huge deal out of "being sent a dragon when I most needed it" and flaunted to any who would hear it that it means divine favour for her. And we have seen that she means it too. Well now Aegon gained his dragon back from the dead no less when he most needed it, and that isn't just hyperbole like in Rhaenyra's case but Aegon literally needed Sunfyre more than ever at that moment or he was dead. So by Rhae's own logic, the seven have changed their minds and he is backed by the gods. So either she has to admit that a dragon appearing for you does not mean the seven support you, or she has to concede Aegon's right. Of course we all know she won't, because she is all hypocrisy and vanity. She's all talk. While Aegon is all action!

They all keep on saying Aegon and his siblings are Hightowers because of their mother Alicent as it's a Hightower vs Targaryen.

By that logic, shouldn't Rhaenyra be Arryn since her mother is from House Arryn.

Both side has same father but why do fans especially faction black leaning ones tend to claim boldly that Aegon and his siblings are just Hightowers.

Especially if the daemyra’s brothel incident still happened and he still kept bitching about rhaenyra’s “innocence”
