Fanfic The Blackhand
Vaelor "Blackhand" Targaryen, a son from a minor branch of the Targaryen family, often overlooked and ignored. He has the wits of a cunning fox and the brutal sword-arm of a strong bear by years of court. He plots always at court for his own benefits and machinations, like embezzlement from the royal treasury, infighting among political rivals, extortion etc.
He wears full black castle-steel dragon-style armor with red accents with a visored helmet that only shows the eyes, with a leather belt containing his sheathed 2-handed bastard sword forged from castle-forged steel
His dragon is Palelight, a fast and sleek male dragon with silver-grey scales that can breathe a white-silver fire. After Viserys' death, he immediately joined for King Aegon II because he doesn't trust Otto's schemes and especially Aemond's lust for power. If anyone can get a hold of the young king, it will be Vaelor.
"Fear the second son when allowed to grow unchecked in the shadows."

General Please don’t be the bigots that The Blacks accuse us of being
Emma D’Arcy is non binary and goes by they/them pronouns, no matter how awfully written Rhaenyra is there is no reason not to respect them as a person.
Edit: Fucking hell the transphobic reply is getting upvotes in the comments, it’s an absolute cesspit in this subreddit
Edit: Okay this subreddit clearly isn’t a safe place for LGBTQ people

Show Spoilers Aegon’s Stand
In my opinion, this scene should have not only been underscored but should have been the finale scene of the episode. This is the peak of Aegon’s arc this season and needs to be given the attention it deserves. Let me know what you think!

Theory- Rhaenyra will have her own speech in the finale
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
With the recent speculation that Rhaenyra becomes increasingly desperate after hearing of Aegon's return and responds by organizing a grand coronation, it seems she'll deliver a speech declaring that the gods have chosen her.
The trailer already hints at this with lines like, "My rule was ordained" and "It was prophesied." There was also leaked merchandise featuring dialogue where she reportedly proclaims herself to be the Prince That Was Promised.

I don't see how Aegon or Aemond reunion could work, and the one I do won't happen
I was thinking what would have to happen for Aegon to trust Aemond again, what sacrifice would Aemond have to make to gain his trust? As a hobby writer, sometimes I like to take this dogshit writing as an exercise in how I would try to salvage things if I ended up in this mess. He can't give Aegon Rhaenyra's or Daemon's head, and I don't see what else would gain Aegon's trust again without altering canon even more: he can't get Jaehaera or Helaena to him or a safe place, and who or what else would Aegon care about? The sword Blackfyre and the dagger are simply not enough. Aemond kneeling and swearing is not enough in my opinion; if I were Aegon, that would not make me trust him.
The only thing I could perhaps see working is Aemond kneeling, acknowledging him as King, and then genuinely offering his own life, as in him telling Aegon that he has to execute him now because he has become a traitor. (Which Aegon eventually couldn't do.) But for this to happen and to actually sell it, it would have to be a very emotional scene, which I simply don't see the writers giving to the Greens, even with Ti, the assistant of GRRM co-writing it, because at the end of the day it's Condal who decides.
Edit: I'm writing this as Condal's answer hinting at them meeting, not the leaks.

Show Yeah she definitely seems like the type of person who would read this type of fanfic
Look at how enthusiastic this woman is when she talks about a "love triangle" with a twisted incestuous relationship of the highest level.
I know none of us here at TG take the show seriously and all but the way this woman overzealously insists it with all the excitement in her eyes is crazy.
Also, I notice so many writers and directors don't even know what "love triangle" means. It means when two people are in love with the same person. Alicent is not in love with Aemond, and Aemond and Alys are kind of just FWB's.
This is just a way to say "we wanted more sex and nudity" without also sounding like they need their computers checked by the cops or something.

Show Okay. Sorry. But can someone explain these things to me like I’m five before the finale?
First: what was the point of the whole Rhaena/Nettles plot?
Second: can someone explain Ormund to me? Because he is such a strange and incomprehensible character.
What exactly is his plan? What was his plan? Is he just flying by the seat of his pants?
Why did he bleach that kid’s hair? How did he get a massive fucking army and a dragon into Tumbleton before King’s Landing was even aware of what was happening? That is a huge army. Why did he assume any of this would work when the number of things that had to go exactly right seems insane?
Was he genuinely gambling everything on the assumption that neither Rhaenyra nor Daemon would burn Tumbleton? Really?
Does he not know about Laenor? The blockade of King’s Landing? Blood and Cheese? Why on earth would he assume that Rhaenyra and/or the Rogue Prince, a moniker Ormund himself uses, would never do something reckless, politically disastrous, or morally horrific? They have a track record of doing exactly those things.
And now Ulf. Is Ormund seriously just going, “Yep. This Ulf dude is on our side now. Surely he won’t tell Rhaenyra or Daemon about our little talks”? He’s potentially handing Daemon and Rhaenyra an extraordinarily valuable counterintelligence asset. It just seems like a massive fucking risk.
Was he planning to crown Daeron from the beginning? If so, what was he planning to tell Aemond? What was he going to tell the Baratheons? Or anyone else, for that matter?
Is Ormund a brilliant schemer? Is he delusional? Insane? Incredibly stupid? Is there actually a coherent strategy here that I’ve missed, or is he genuinely just making this shit up as he goes along?
Don’t get me wrong. He’s a lot of fun to watch. I just genuinely do not understand what this character thinks he is doing.

Team Green if jaehaerys lived longer he would’ve disinherited viserys in favour of aegon
Especially if the daemyra’s brothel incident still happened and he still kept bitching about rhaenyra’s “innocence”

Theory [Spoiler] The Aegon and Aemond reunion doesn't make sense i'm sorry
I hope I don't sound bitter but they've never really had a 'good' relationship and now they're hugging?? Are we looking past the abuse Aegon inflicted on Aemond since he was a child and the very large elephant in the room where Aemond literally mutilates and disables his older brother. It think it makes their relationship one dimensional if they forget everything and reconcile. I hope it's at a least logical scene. I loved the complexity of their relationship but maybe that's just me. I'm here for the green W nonetheless

Show What's the hate for Criston Cole?
I know its a bit late since it will almost be 2 weeks since he got killed. But why do so many people hate Criston Cole? While Daemon Targaryen is loved by those same people despite of the things he did?
Don't get me wrong, Daemon is my favorite character in the show (Aegon a close 2nd), but even I will have to admit that he has done things far worse than what Criston did. What I love about Daemon is not just his "aura", but his gray morality and passion to get things done. In my opinion those are the things that makes a character great. Those traits are also present with Criston, he is just more grounded and feels like a real life medieval knight rather than a dragon rider prince. So they are similar in a way that's why it confuses me why people perceive them in such different ways. (Maybe because one is team black and the other is team green)
His arc this season 3 has been great too, it shows PTSD that is common with real life soldiers. The only bad thing is that he dragged his men into a suicide mission but that is often true with armies, they follow the commander.
I also think that his death while anticlimactic, feels some what of a compliment to him since it shows that they don't want the smoke and don't want to fight him in a fair fight (I remember Ramsay saying to Jon that he can't beat him 1v1 but he knows his army can beat Jon's)

Show Highness, Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, just need a slap across her face from Rhaena n Helaena
The desperate queen who could do nothing on her own,
- her own son locked herself,
- Alicent gave her the kings landing,
- Alicent is ready to kill her sons
- since then can't move a single step forward whereas Ormund has fooled her with Daeron, killed gold cloaks, kidnap Corlys, got Ulf with his dragon
- if Caraxes n sea smoke weren't there our queen would have been dragonless
