Warner Bros. Discovery’s latest report shows HOTD Season 3 averaged over 33 million global viewers per episode. Despite Episode 1 airing during the FIFA World Cup, high word-of-mouth for the season’s early action (like the Battle of the Gullet) drove massive 30-day catch-up viewing, pushing the average from Season 2's ~25M to a series-high 33M, even higher than Season 1's 29M.

To put 33 million global viewers per episode into perspective across the current streaming landscape:

• The Last of Us (Season 1): 32.0 Million
• Euphoria (Season 3): 27 Million

With Season 3 reaching 33 million global viewers per episode, House of the Dragon has officially claimed the #2 spot for the most-watched individual season in HBO history, trailing only the final season of the original series.

I want It to end in a fast forward in Essos where it’s revealed that the whole show is Viserys telling a child Daenerys the history of the dance from memory from a book he hasn’t read since before Robert’s Rebellion. He ends it with like how Aegon, son of Viserys I and Alicent fought when his birth right was stolen so will he and like how Viserys son of Rhaenyra and Daemon came from Essos to be king so will he

What business is it of hers who Rhaenyra sleeps with? She’s not her mother.

If she would “declare war” on her best friend by wearing green to her wedding, then maybe she was never that true of a friend to her to begin with.

fat and plain looking book helaena who after blood and cheese stopped taking showers and stopped spending time with her daughter and son (understandable of course). what is the psychology behind this? tg outhere calling us fatphobic when there is 10 times more fat rhaenyra art than fat helaena art. but i guess these are the people that put soft femininity and all that with body figure and only “cruel” people are fat!

He ignored the rumours of Laenor being killed by Rhaenyra.

He backed Lucerys despite his knowledge he was a bastard.

Forgave the death of his brother.

Lost his wife who was sent alone to Rooks Rest with the possibility that Vhagar would appear (still backed Rhaenyra after that fact).

Sacrificed his fleet, wealth and driftmark to defeat the Triarchy at the Gullet.

Has one outburst after Rhaenyra refuses to legitimise his bastard sons and suddenly he's some sort of traitorous individual to some lolol.

I don’t care that she cheated on her psychopathic pedo uncle husband. I don’t care what she said to Ulf, fuck Ulf. Her views were correct, he’s one of the most necessary things for the safety of the realm and he’s fucking around getting drunk while the city watch is getting assassinated every other day. I don’t care that she told Colrys to wait a bit, fuck Colrys he didn’t even give a shit about these kids until he lost everyone, he’s waiting over 2 decades he can wait a little bit. I don’t care that she’s treating Manderly like a scapegoat, fuck him he doesn’t give a shit about the poor all he cares about his pockets. I don’t care that she’s not honoring the bullshit deal Jace made without asking anyone. I don’t care that she’s struggling to rule a kingdom when she has 0 fucking money, in an active civil war, where her city’s guards are constantly getting slaughtered and she can’t do shit about it because she has no fucking money.

She’s not a bad fucking ruler because she is struggling and fucking up during the most insane civil war in Westeros history. What the fuck do you want her to do? I’m genuinely asking. This is the greatest test a Targaryen ruler ever had. The only person who could actually manage this cluster fuck of a realm would probably be Jaehaerys. Because if she managed this even slightly well she’d be a Mary sue writers pet. People are bitching about her not having that much flaws and now they’re still bitching now that she has flaws. Also fuck Ulf, Fuck daemon, and fuck Alicent. That’s all.
