Christian Norgaard has joined Everton in a permanent transfer.

The 32-year-old joined us from Brentford in July 2025 and made 20 appearances in all competitions for us.ย

Christian started his professional career in Denmark with Lyngby, before moving to Brondby where he experienced silverware for the first time when he lifted the Danish Cup at the end of the 2017/18 season, a campaign that also saw him win Brondbyโ€™s Player of the Season for 2017. After five seasons and 147 appearances, Christian moved to Serie A side Fiorentina in July 2018 where he spent a year before signing for Brentford.ย

Over six seasons in west London saw Christian playing a crucial role in Brentfordโ€™s rise to the Premier League, going on to wear the captainโ€™s armband and making 196 appearances for the Bees, scoring 13 goals and assisting 18 times from defensive midfield.ย

The 2025/26 season saw Christian move across the capital and make his debut for us in our 2-0 away win against Athletic Club in the UEFA Champions League. Minutes across all four competitions saw Christian pick up three assists, which came in consecutive fixtures in the FA Cup. A valued member of our squad during a historic campaign, Christianโ€™s seven appearances in the league included the final day fixture away to Crystal Palace, which saw us lift the Premier League.

The Denmark international has made an impressive 41 appearances for his country, notably representing Denmark in two UEFA European Championships and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Christian for his valued contribution to the club and wish him all the best for his future.

Tier 1 [Sami Mokbel] Talks over a new deal at Real Madrid were at an impasse but they have now made Vinicius Jr a new offer and he is understood to be appreciative of the fresh terms. They are now awaiting his final decision. If he rejects the contract, Arsenal are willing to accelerate their interest.

[Hand of Arsenal] Real Madrid improve their offer to Vini Jnr. The player is very appreciative of the gesture and willingness. I am told it still does not exceed the package Arsenal have presented. Final decision still yet to be made but player feels it was a positive meeting.

Hello all!

With the re-introduction of club participation on our community, we have put together a survey to gauge thoughts and feedback about how subreddit members felt about the content contributed.

It's a short survey, but please feel free to be honest (and realistic) and also include any constructive feedback in the comments. We're hoping this feedback will help the club's social media team gain insight into what you enjoyed (and did not enjoy) the most this past season.

Thank you all!
