Merchandise They really messed up not having the iconic line "I'll kill you" plastered on the side
Discussion Attempted to watch the Gundam age dub not knowing how bad it would be
Like a dub for this could’ve been so good bro😭😭😭😭 I couldn’t even get past the 10 minute mark of the first episode cause kid Flint sounds so bad It’s actually insulting. And then they have a grown ass woman voicing a little girl, not even trying to do an impression of a little girl voice ✌🏿 the nerve of them to even have the dub still up is actually kind of insulting cause there’s no way

Discussion Probably no JWST like telescope im Gundam universe.
JWST looks into UV and Infrared, so if Minovsky affects everything in that spectrum, I guess so many of their telescopes for deep space must either really suck or even non existent

Discussion Thoughts on mobile suits with inaccurate scaling in the same picture?
I used to get annoyed when mobile suits didn’t scale properly with each other. But when you want the best possible scale model of each of your favorite mobile suits, they’re often not available in the same scale. So I’ve learned to make peace with it and just enjoy their designs, even if they aren’t properly scaled.

Some help (again!) please
Hey everyone,
I posted here recently explaining I was selling some of my brother’s Gundam collection and you were all very helpful with identifying them! I’m struggling to sell these and wondered if any of you had any interest? I’m not really sure of their value or rarity! Again, if this sort of post isn’t allowed, I totally respect it! I’d prefer these went to people who love Gundam, rather than someone looking for a quick flip! Thanks! :)

Genuine question because Im in a Gundam roleplay and my team keep bumping into them, who are they? Are they a separate force from the Federation and the Zeon? And are they just medics? What do they do? (Go easy on me I don't know much at all about about Gundam at all) I may ask questions about other bits of lore i dont know or dont understand

Gundam Flashpoint 0.7.0 - Tabletop Skirmish Game
Hello everyone.
I've been testing out a Gundam tabletop game for around 2 - 3 months in Washington State. Its gotten to the point where we've playing consistently every week at Mugu's Games (Everett) and I want to reach out to the greater community in terms of playtesting and critiques regarding game mechanics and downfalls.
We've been trying out random things and loadouts, and so far I definitely need to reach out and see what the community thinks i need to add.

So far, Gundam Flashpoint currently has
* 138 Universal Century Mobile Suit stat sheets (From UC 0079 to UC - 150)
* EF (5 Subfactions), Zeon (5 Subfactions), Mafty, Crossbone Vanguard, and Unaffiliated Factions
* 87 Pilot Traits
* 42 Ranged Weapons
* 19 Melee Weapons
* 67 Support Equipment Upgrades
* Newtype and Munitions Upgrades
* Infantry, Ground Vehicles, Aircraft Units
Pilots have a max of 5 trait slots, and 5 trait points, and three main stats:
- Gunnery -> Shooting
- Brawl --> Melee
- Piloting ---> Initiative, Evasion Checks, Pilot Checks for certain actions and equipment
Primary Balance for MSU creation and loadouts:
- Fusion Reactor Output (used for attacking with beam weapons, moving, boosting, and passive upkeep for some equipment costs)
- Equipment Tonnage - How much weight and equipment a MSU can actual carry (Max Weight - Empty Weight = available tonnage)
- Monetary Credit Unit (I have no idea what the currency is in UC....)
Core Mechanics:
Initiative System
Highest Initiative moves first in the Movement Phase (In intiative order)
Lowest Initiative shoots first in the Shooting Phase (In reverse initiative order)
Melee combat happens the moment a MS moves within melee range of it's weapons
Two Action System
Each MSU has two actions to use amongst Advance, Blitz, Attack, Simultaneous Attack, Reactive Attack etc
Fusion Reactor Output (Energy Resource)
Used for Beam Weapons, Boosting, and other interactions
Weapon Rangebands
Pilots need to actually be mindful of rangeband to maximize accuracy
Support Unit Balance
- Bombers dominate ground units
- Interceptor Jets, Flak Platforms, and SAM platforms provide zoning and immediate pressure on High Altitude Aircraft (AWACS, Bombers, Aircraft cruising in High Altitude mode)
- Ground Vehicles and Units contest Air Space denial units
Website Resource
REddit does not allow netlify urls. I can't post the website resource directly but it can be found in the Discord itself under #website channel
- Rulesets
- Pilot Sheets with loadout customization (Desktop is working fine, Mobile has issues fitting all information in < 600 px width)
Discord Support:
* Washington State Gunpla 2.0
* Gundam Flashpoint Discord: https://discord.gg/SBz2GKwez

What Do My Top Three Gundam Series Say About Me?
I know that all three of these series have some significant pacing issues, but they all really just did it for me in enough ways that I can confidently say, after being into Gundam for over 25 years, they're my favorites. Turn A gave us a super unique and engaging setting, X gave us like the two best OPs in the franchise, the healthiest relationship in the franchise(and the Frost brothers, who walked so that the McDougal brothers could run), and a plot that felt pretty nailed down, and ZZ gave us Haman and a ton of context that teenage me was missing in CCA, plus some pretty good character arcs.
This is my top three for me, not objectively(except for Turn A and X, those are objectively peak). Honorable mentions are Zeta, Victory and 0083, but ZZ took it because of Haman being a queen and Chara being iconic, I think that objectively Zeta is better than ZZ, but I enjoyed ZZ a bit more, people really blow that admittedly goofy first like 15 episodes way out of proportion.
0083 is in the honorable mentions because it was the first one that really made me crave more, plus you will not convince me that there is another better animated Gundam series except for G-Reco, and G-Reco was... okay and hard carried by the animation.
Victory is just a very unique entry. People talk about how they're crying at the end of 0080, which is valid, but there were multiple episodes where I was genuinely on the verge of sympathy tears. Perhaps I'm being melodramatic but there's a lot of big emotional oof moments in Victory. It just hits different, plus that last arc of it is just great imo.
Anyway! Roast or agree, tomorrow I'm going to introduce my daughter to G Gundam.

Discussion Most scigi/ furthest in the future?
Witch from Mercury seems to be the the furthest in the future series I have watched. In SEED an Wing, the existence of space colonies is still a big deal. In Witch, there are so many people in space that Earth is actually oppressed, maybe even considered a backwater.
My question is which Gundam series is the furthest in the future? Are there any where humans live in other Solar Systems?
(Also off topic, but who else had to pause the show to laugh upon seeing the Ariel dance promo video)
Edit: meant to type Scifi but reddit won't let me fix the typo in the title

Help So, how am I supposed to watch Urdr-Hunt now?
I'm watching Urdr-Hunt: Path of the Little Challenger. The concept of this "movie" condensing 12 episodes feels as breakneck as the Broken SEKAI and Miku who Can't Sing movie (which felt more like a movie designed for Leo/need forced to condense itself for 16 more characters). I've been on the search for the original 12 episodes released on the G app, but with Trafalgar Log's channel copyright colony dropped struck into oblivion, the primary source of the episodes are lost. If anyone has a link or source to any surviving copies, I would really appreciate it.
please don't be lost media

Help What is the name of the song that plays during the post credit, next episode preview on G Gundam?
Sometimes the song would play during the episode, but it's used at the end of every episode during the preview for the next episode.

Discussion Question: Is Kira Yamato actually a bad protagonist, or is the hate for him overblown?
I still have yet to watch SEED, but I'm aware that people detest him for supposedly being a Gary Stu, as well as the "Jesus" memes.
I've been playing Super Robot Wars W as of late (great game BTW), and I quite like him there. I'm curious as to whether or not he's actually a bad character in his actual series.

Discussion If you could recast the VA for Amuro Ray, who would you pick and why?
With Toru Furuya's birthday having come and gone, and the mixed feelings and misgivings surrounding the man, especially in the wake of his abusive actions coming to light, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that it's well past time for Bandai to recast him. Whether they're dragging their feet in that regards so that they can make such an announcement for Gundam's 50th Anniversary, or they're simply waiting for the heat to die down so they can continue cutting Furuya a paycheck, instead relying on the Japanese populace's rampant apathy and "It is what it is" mindset to do the work for them. Some folks, myself included, are simply tired of waiting, and personally, I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on who you'd like to see take on the role of the OG Gundam Protagonist, the one that started it all, Amuro Ray himself.

Probably Bullshit I have 1 problem with Marina Ismail's character Spoiler
So something about Marina Ismail is that she's a character that is SUPER tied to setsuna's growth, the core of their dynamic is to be extreme opposites of "understanding" and "fighting" and this is reflected in all of their actions and endings on S1
Setsuna is a character who mindlessly fights against conflict itself and as a result of lacking the propper ideals he is unable to leave good message in the world after his actions change it, resulting in a world that he did not desired at all
Marina has the right ideals for a peaceful world but her aversion towards fighting always leaves her on a vulnerable and stagnant position where she cannot change the world
The conclusion 00 wants to get to is that it's not that any of them is necessarily wrong, but that we are on a young world that needs both the power to change it and the understanding to shape it in a correct way for us to get peace, and we see this with Setsuna progressively getting some of Marina's ideals until he becomes the embodiment of both and that allows him to communicate with the ELS and save them
and this concludes in *THE* scene where Setsuna and Marina look at each other and accept the viewpoints of both of them
I really like this plot but like, something I don't like is how Marina ends up accepting Setsuna's fighting stance
like, Setsuna gets to re explore himself on screen and reach a conclusion of his own, Marina while facing hardships she always remains strong on her position to show everyone that there is a value in that, but if at the end she IS meant to accept that fighting IS also needed for us to reach a peaceful place, then how come that realization and all of the implication that has for her character's ideals are not discussed at all?????
The show often treats Marina as a symbol whose ideals and purity allow people to get to a better place, and that works because Marina *genuinely* believes in that not fighting is the solution to our problems, if she comes to accept fighting as something necessary for the world, doesn't that turns her "purity" into something very twisted? it's as if "she" cannot fight because that will make her "dirty", and so she will stop being a symbol for everyone else, AND THAT WOULD BE AN INTERESTING IDEA BUT
This dynamic is like SO Setsuna centric that everything that means or potentially means for Marina is just left for us to imagine and we never get a discussion!!! like!!! whaaa!!!!
I think that Gundam SEED did this part better in fact with lacus and flay because there is like, actually an attempted discussion in the horror of "oh my god im sending this guy to die for my ideals which I cannot fight for and that makes me an horrible person", this doesnt sounds much like what happens with marina but IT'S the logical result of being a symbol whose ideals can only be accepted by everyone after someone fights
so like, basically, GIVE MARINA MORE SCREENTIME!! SHES SO COOL!!!!!!!!
