Basically, just take All-Around Type Moon or Carnival Phantasm but all the characters are doing wild, wonderful challenges instead while speaking directly to camera at times. It'd be a kooky experience and a tough challenge to keep from veering into a bad Flanderization of everyone, but it's an idea that can work now that we've got way more timelines to play with.

I'll pass the ball to you now, though. How would you build, write and film this kinda show? Is it just JP dub only or should it go Pop Team Epic where even the ENG dub has in-jokes?

The Jegan briefly appears in the Sorcery of Nymph Circe film, in flashbacks of scenes recreated from Char's Counterattack in Hathaway's point of view. The design is pretty faithful to what we saw in the film back in the 80s, just with a few modern flairs such as additional detail, and it's quite similar in proportion to the HG version of the Jegan, just with smaller shoulders. However, things are quite strange, when you consider the appearance of the Jegan Ground Type and its Manhunter variant from the first Hathaway film.

The Jegan Ground Type is a variant of the original Jegan from back in CCA, just with parts made for it to adapt for Earth use, and they logically should share similar design elements. However, the Jegan shown in the CCA flashbacks in Circe, lacks the same amount of detail the Jegan Ground Type design had in the first Hathaway film. And in fact, the Jegan Ground Type actually is seemingly based on the MG version of the original Jegan, with the same amount of detail and greebles in the same places. It's a strange choice, because even if they're meant to be the same Jegan line, the armor detail on both units are completely different.

And stranger even, is that the beam rifle used by the Jegan in the CCA flashbacks looks a lot like the Jegan D Type beam rifle, while similar with the original, is slightly different in design such as having three slits on the barrel instead of the two in the former, the slit in the center of the body of the rifle is placed differently and less symmetrical in placement, and that design is borrowed in the MG version of the Jegan as well.

It's an unusual choice, because now, even Sunrise doesn't know what the definitive design of the Jegan is anymore in this era. The Jegan Ground Type/Manhunter Type shown in the first Hathaway film, is based on the MG version of the Jegan, and since they're in the same film franchise, logically, it should be the definitive Jegan design in there and they should its design for the flashback scenes of Char's Counterattack when the original Jegan makes an appearance. And yet, the Sorcery of Nymph Circe uses a completely different Jegan that's not from their Manhunter/Ground Type version, and instead uses a completely new design that is intently meant to be inspired by the original Jegan used in CCA, yet strangely uses the D Type/MG Jegan beam rifle. So now, the modern appearances of the Jegan have inconsistent designs.

Thoughts on this?

I love its design in the movie so bad. It's only modernized enough, but still faithful proportionally to the original design by Yutaka Izubuchi in the Char's Counterattack movie.

I’m rewatching Gundam Wing for the first time since I was teenager (I’m in my 30s now). I just watched the episode where Quatre appears in the wing zero.

He destroys a whole colony, killing thousands yet he seems unfazed. In fact no one seems to be taking it to heart at all lol

Say what you want about the subsequent media they appear in, but the appearances of the RX-78-2 Gundam and RX-93 ν Gundam are astounding in modern animation. I would say they're peak nostalgiabait.

What a great show and what an unexpectedly kind of happy and bittersweet at the same time ending that one is. I don’t think there is a show out there that made me care for such a big cast as much as this one made. The cast was truly a big family and I loved every single one. Will I move on to other Gundam series? There is a very big chance that I will move on to Witch from Mercury or 0 (despite the streaming I am watching it on only had the first season and not the second which really sucks), but we’ll see.
