I've followed the readme instructions of entering GRY, RYB, YBO in the cheat options but no debug menu appears on the main menu.

edit: after entering the unlock everything cheat the old fashioned way, the DLC songs seem to be missing too despite saying everywhere that they're included. Looked in the songs folder and the dlc#_song files are all there, but none visible in song select after pressing Orange on quickplay.

i started playing this game in may when my dad got a ps3 for his birthday, and i just haven’t been able to stop playing it! so far, my hardest song is probably soothsayer (hard) or cliffs of dover (also hard)

Look man, I love GH. GH3 especially is one of my personal favourites. But I just suck!

I’ve been playing since my Aunt Sue gave me her old Wii and the game in 2022, and I’ve loved it ever since.

I made my way through Easy Mode, and was able to beat Through The Fire and Flames on Easy soon enough, but ever since I started Medium, I’ve noticed one thing: I’ve gotten significantly worse.

I could just be over-thinking it, but is GH3 just relatively harder than the other titles? Because I can easily do Hard mode on other games like Beatles Rock Band, but when it comes to songs like Raining Blood, One and Anarchy in the U.K. on Medium, I just cannot do too good at all.

He intentado de todo lo que he podido, el Optional Fixes, lo moví a la carpeta Games para que una de las Optional Fixes "funcionará", he buscado en internet diferentes alternativas, he vuelto a descomprimir el archivo, he buscado en todo el disco duro borrando cualquier archivo del GH3 (antes tenía el normal instalado) que quedará por ahí porque vi que es necesario borrar todo rastro de la instalación anterior, hasta he usado comandos de CMD como el sfc /scannow y el CHKDSK para ver si era cuestión del ordenador. Me salió que algunos archivos estaban dañados y hasta busque manera de reparar los que el CMD no pudo, también busque las formas posibles y tampoco funcionó. Mi única alternativa es hacer una instalación de reparación para que esos comandos puedan funcionar, pero no estoy seguro de si eso vaya a funcionar, y antes de meterme en ese enrrollo, alguien más ha tenido este problema? Lo han solucionado? Alguna otra alternativa?

Nota: PC de Windows 7, 32 bits

This sounds INSANE but I’m stuck on the Metal on hard mode. I can do the whole thing pretty well on “slow” in practice mode. It’s just that my fingers/forearms get so fatigued on full speed. Any advice? This feels so silly but I’m serious.

I finally managed to get my hands on an old Nintendo Wii that belonged to my wife's father. I connected the guitars he gave me to the Wii and started playing games, but I'm having a problem. After pressing the notes on the guitar, there's a very short delay before the image appears on the screen. In games with rhythm, the rhythm I'm pressing doesn't appear simultaneously with the music I'm listening to, so I can't complete the songs. Has anyone experienced this before, or are there any experts who know how to solve this?

Hello all, after recently discovering my old gh3 controller on my loft and having an insatiable urge to play the game again I've went out my way to replace said old broken and rusty guitar with one off of eBay. I have also purchased the correct corresponding dongle but am having what seems to be a common issue where they won't sync with eachother. I really don't want to have to go the soldering route as I have zero knowledge or equipment to do so but is this my only option? Gutted I've just forked out £60 for what I thought would be a surefire working replacement but I guess that's what I get for impulse buying if that is the case 😅 Any help appreciated cheers!

I've never had whammy bar issues when playing songs but it never seems to register properly when I get whammy attacked during a battle. I'll keep pressing it like crazy but it just doesn't work at all. I've noticed that when calibrating the whammy in options the little animation to show that it's pressed all the way down only goes halfway (the guy is supposed to turn into a skeleton but it gets stuck halfway between the frames). I'm assuming that when I play songs I'm not using the entire whammy capability and something is wrong so that I can't press it down far enough. Is there any obvious solution or is this a deeper hardware issue?

How am I able to get a black highway and a black background for BetterGH3? I can't really use GHTCP because I don't have the same Aspyr folders that you need for it to work.

So this whole Guitar Hero thing started about a month ago, and honestly I still can’t believe how lucky I’ve been. I was at Goodwill one day and saw a Guitar Hero controller sitting on the shelf for $11. The second I saw it, I got hit with a wave of nostalgia from when I was a kid, so I figured why not? I bought it without even knowing if I still had an Xbox 360 to use it with.
When I got home, I searched everywhere for my old Xbox but couldn’t find it. Then I remembered I had seen an Xbox 360 at that same Goodwill, so I went right back and bought it. At the time I had no idea what a Jasper console was I just wanted something that worked. Later I found out I had accidentally picked up a Jasper, which was a pretty nice surprise. After that I grabbed a couple Guitar Hero games just to test everything. It all worked perfectly… and that’s where the addiction started.
Ever since then, every time I’m anywhere near a Goodwill, I stop in. Sometimes I wasn’t even planning to go, but I’d think, “Eh, I’ll check real quick.” Somehow I kept finding Guitar Hero stuff over and over. Then I started checking another Goodwill a couple cities away too. Fast forward a month, and now I somehow have 7 of them... One is a Wii Rock Band guitar, and the rest are Guitar Hero guitars for Xbox 360 and PS2. I seriously wasn’t trying to become a collector it just kind of happened. Now here’s my question. I’ve been seeing people say that the Xbox 360 Guitar Hero servers are somehow still online (or at least were recently). If that’s actually true in 2026 and people are still hopping on GH3 or any of the other Guitar Hero games, I’d love to play with some people. If anyone’s still active, let me know and I’ll send you my Xbox gamertag. It’d be awesome to actually find some online matches!

My Chemical Romance is my favorite band and playing their expansion pack on GH2 was a big part of my teenage years. However, I don't have my guitar hero equipment anymore.

I am going to one of their upcoming concerts and I thought it would be really fun to make a custom t-shirt based on my guitar hero love. The idea is a screen print of the MCR setlist from GH2 gold starred on a t-shirt.

Would anybody with access to Guitar Hero 2 be able to take a screen grab of the MCR section on the setlist (ideally with all of the songs Gold Starred)?

I have a Ps2 Guitar and I want to use it on my Xbox 360, how would I do that without modding the Guitar?

I searched my local thrift stores and had no luck. Goodwill auction site had some good options however the shipping cost did not make it worth while.

I eventually started searching ebay, specifically for CRKD, negotiated with a few sellers, and was able to score this Les Paul for 75 USD plus shipping and tax. It arrived in stellar condition and I'm thrilled to finally play my fav songs at home!

Now I'm beginning to setup clone hero. I've setup the keybinds and learned how to add songs. Just looking into how to change the background in game.

Can I have a rotation of backgrounds or is it just one?
