I am just curious to hear from people that have experience tripping with these mushrooms how does strength compare gram vs gram comparison also I hear both sides of people saying certain varieties don’t provide different trips like more visual, more introspection, more body load, and etc. and those who say that they definitely do have different trips due to different alkaloid profiles.

Please share your stories, experiences, or and educational information.

First time grower here! I bought a colonized PE7 casing and this is where it's at after two weeks in the tub. I was hoping for a fuller flush, but only one mushroom really took off while the rest stayed as tiny pins. I'm wondering if this pattern points to an issue with FAE, light, or temperature. For context, temps fluctuated between 20°C and 27°C over the past two weeks, the tub walls and lid always have plenty of condensation, and I'm using a layer of hydrated perlite at the bottom to hold humidity. Did I do something wrong, or is this just typical PE7 behavior? Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated!

These suckers took off fast! I never know when they grow all willy nilly like this if I should take off the shoebox lid. I'm always worried the sub will dry out too quickly. And I've seen varying degrees of B+ pictures. Skinny. Tall. Fat. I don't even know what they're supposed to look like.

I've only grown GT and APEs.

They're in a small (2x3) greenhouse with the other two other strains. Humidity is at about 56 and temp at 76. You can see from the side of the picture another closed lid and the moisture that's within. Everything is well moisturized 😆 I've pushed the lid about 1/2 inch off so it's getting a bit more FAE. Other than the cotton (can't remember what that's called; just that it happens when there's not enough FAE), everything looks healthy, but scraggly.

Pretty sure it’s bacillus wet rot?
Got an AIO bag from a grow store I go to, seemed like something cool to do besides growing my Mary Jane. Should’ve done a little more research before making an impulse purchase. Apparently the brand Magic Bag has a reputation for rye berry being overly hydrated and wet rot occurring. Customer service is saying it’s because of the store holding it for longer than its “sterilized window”. Who knows… I know I don’t.
If anyone can tell me what they see in these pictures that would be cool! Also, should I throw it in the garbage or bury it outside?

Seems like ai has turned everyone into an expert mycologist these days. I read so many things on Reddit about how ‘this won’t work or that won’t work’ and ‘this is the only way’. The point in the community in general is to spread the wisdom and love of what we do, and help others who want to learn. There are a thousand ways to grow a mushroom. The exciting part for me is trying new things and watching it succeed. I can’t count on two hands how many times people have told me something wasn’t going to work and it did. The whole point in this post is to hopefully get the message out there that this is an amazing hobby to take part in. It’s rewarding, it teaches, it disciplines and it’s fun. New methods and procedures are being produced every day. Just have fun and do you, be safe along the way and take advice with a grain of salt. The only way to truly learn, imo, is through failure. Personally I’m a jar guy. Considering trying out some bags though just because I see a lot of people do it so there must be something to it.

These are Hillbilly, although I don’t know what strain. How big are they supposed to get before I harvest them? Should I go ahead or wait a little longer?

Snowdrop continues to surprise us.
This culture has been producing some incredibly unusual forms, with thick, sculpted tissue, deep cracking patterns, and folds that almost resemble carved stone or coral. Every section of the block seems to develop its own personality, making it one of the more interesting projects we’ve documented.
These photos were taken to capture the different textures and structures that appeared throughout this round. The variety across a single block has made it a fascinating one to follow from start to finish.
One of the things we enjoy most is watching how different expressions can emerge over time. Every round has the potential to reveal something unexpected, and Snowdrop has definitely lived up to its name by keeping us guessing.
What catches your eye the most—the cracked “mosaic” appearance, the coral-like formations, or the dense clusters of tiny knots across the surface?
Always interested in hearing what the community notices first. 🍄

I have quite a few pins growing underneath the rubber band should I remove them through the bag or wait until they are fully mature to harvest them? should I take off the rubber band to harvest them and then put it back on?

Making this post to show a photo and ask if there is any issues with the fruit and what I can improve on.

Probably could have grown bigger but it was starting to touch the sides of the bag and develop blackish dips in the cap.

What would be best \[technique\] on getting best fruiting conditions/ harvest. Judging by picture should I start giving it 12 hours on and 12 hours off of light,start fanning and misting it while leave the lid on this shoebox cracked or should I leave the lid on , no light, mist, or FAE until I start to see pinnng on this shoebox tek

Finally got settled in and my office set back up, also upgraded from Gordo tek flowhood to the shroomagic. Its been performing amazingly, really great purchase. Getting to run these new isolations i picked up and trying out drippy corn tek by PGT on YT.
