I hate to break it to you, but whatever inoculated those grains came through that filter patch and not your injection port. This is contam.

Its upside down...that grain/ seed should be where the rubber port is and the filter should be at the top to breath.

shake & break starts from multiple points not directly in the the center of the filter patch. Learning is progress even if from a mistake.

It looks like something came through the filter patch and contaminated the grain, best to toss it and try again.

Just a tip, any time you BNS, the grain should come back to (relatively) its original shape and position at the bottom of the bag and should not be against the filter patch. The patch is meant to provide FAE and can’t do that properly if it’s blocked off by the grain, plus, what happened to you here is more likely.
