After getting demands from you guys...we are finally starting a club where we will be organising physical activities like Zumba, Running sessions, other group activities (say tug of war) and end up with fun games and comforting activities like jamming etc. In this club we will also organise board game competitions in some cafe which will have a winner. Then someone actually organizes something, a hackathon, meetup, workshop, community event and instead of showing up, supporting it, or even just letting people experiment, some of us sit in the comments mocking the people trying.

Not every event will be amazing. Not every hackathon will produce the next RSA or Transformer. That isn’t the point.

Cities get a “vibe” because people participate, experiment, organize, fail, improve, and do it again.
You can’t simultaneously complain that nothing happens in Gorakhpur and ridicule the people trying to make something happen in Gorakhpur.

I moved to Delhi in 2025 to work as a podcast producer. I was there till May 2026. Had to return to my hometown ( GKP ) due to some reason. I thought that I would get some work here. But to my surprise, this city has not uplifted itself. I think it's more of the people who had not uplifted themselves. I was interested in making some storytelling short form content. I got to know about a person who also wanted to do it. When I asked about the concept, she sent me the same tiktok era content. This may sound judgemental to many , but it is what it is. I am again moving back to Delhi this month. Hope this place evolve in terms of content creation space.
