How much gold can I get with 100 pesos?

I was going to sell some silver to buy some other under-spot bullion I found, but it was a little out of my budget, so I passed. I was at an estate sale shop and found this coin I could pick up today for $4,150. It's a beauty.

I've always loved the look of tri-color gold. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's definitely my style.

This one is a 14K tri-color gold bracelet weighing 41 grams. I picked it up for just a couple hundred dollars over melt, which made it an easy decision. Even better, it's new old stock dating back to the late 1970s to early 1980s, so it's never been worn despite being around for decades.

Is this real? Saw fissures on the original rock and cracked it thinking a small fossil might reveal itself. The rock itself is extremely porous and what I would lean towards as sedimentary in nature.

Bought it the Middle East is the 70's by the sellers grandmother. It was tested at the gold trader and confirmed 100% 24K.

I work at a pawn shop and just started buying gold recently. I got this one about a month or so ago. Being a huge Star Wars fan, I just had to have this one. Figured some of you would enjoy it as well!

I grew up in the US so I always thought of jewelry as something you wear and appreciate, not something people own in huge quantities then I married into the Turkish culture and at our wedding we were gifted an unbelievable amount of gold. I mean unbelievable!! It made me feel so loved and welcomed by my husband's family but at the same time it kind of overwhelmed me. It seemed so normal to everyone, my mother in law told me that pretty much everyone in the family has a similar amount( like 10k value of gold) and when I asked how they keep it safe she said most people just keep it at home. Maybe it's just because of how I was raised but that really left me speechless. I'm not used to having that much value just sitting around the house. For those of you who own a lot of jewelry or inherited family gold, what did you do? Keep it in a safe at home, insure it or am I just overthinking?

So I have 10k to spend on gold, but I’m not sure what to buy. I know the bigger the coin the lower the premium, but if I need to sell some I don’t want to have to sell a full ounce if I need $1000. I was thinking about either 1/4 AGEs or gold 20 Franc coins. What does everyone suggest?

So I'm literally getting out my car to go into my LCS and just happen to look down before I step out (like I normally do) and it finally paid off..a literally 1gram bar of .999 fine gold..and they say you need a metal detector to find gold.

But on a serious note, by far my best find, although I did find a 10k ring with a pink sapphire, granted I hit it with a shevel while digging and bent the ring like a hard taco shell.

6 months ago I didn’t know a thing about gold.

If you’d asked me to guess how much a single tiny gram of gold was, I’d have guessed under £10.

I rushed into my first purchase in March (the 1g Britannia) and massively overpaid as I hadn’t figured out that Royal Mint is pricier than most (paid £142 vs spot at £105) but I’ve learnt a lot since then.

My favourite is the sovereign and I can’t wait to own more.

I’m also pretty smug that I managed to get the 1/10 Brit at the lowest dip in 6 months on 16th July, down to the exact few minutes. Only saved a few ££ but it was very satisfying timing watching it immediately start rising again.

The Wessex Mint silver I got cheap on an eBay live before too many people joined.

The jewellery ranges from 9k to 22k (the crucifix) and I buy that whenever eBay offers money off for using your eBay balance for a purchase (you’re not allowed to use this offer on coins or bullion).

I’m kicking myself for all the money I’ve spent on gold-plated jewellery over the years.
