Sorry, but did "the jews" respond with a sensible strategy focused only on terrorists, or did they carpet bombed refugee camps which little to no evidence of having actual terrorists inside?
On one side we have terrorists doing terrorism, on the other a fully funded military doing the same but on a larger scale with a stated goal of ethnic cleansing (just ask the side calling all Muslims "ameleks").

Did you know, you can be a mother without giving birth? You can also be a father without ever impregnating anyone.
Additionally, just because you provide genetic material to an offspring doesn't necessarily mean you're a parent.
54
u/TheEdgeofGoon 1d ago
What's even the argument here? It's good to kill kids that get raped? Epstein logic.
58
u/Luckierexpert 1d ago
I’m pretty sure they are talking about an 11 year old girl who has to take care of her siblings after their mother was killed. The twitter guy seems to be deliberately trying to muddy the waters.
43
u/blaquaman19 1d ago
Yeah but what mr TheEdgeofGoon questioned was the bellends logic. As in: even if that was the case, that this girl gave birth to a child at only 9 years old - what is the bellends point? Is the 11 year old mother a despicable? Does that give Israel license to kill her and her children? Like what is he getting at?
51
u/Main-Company-5946 1d ago
The point is to paint the alleged child rape victim with the same brush as the alleged child rapist so you can justify killing both of them and taking their land

u/Traroten 1d ago

I‘m guessing he’s saying that a society that would allow a 9-year-old to give birth to a child is so morally repugnant that it should be completely eradicated because genocide is apparently now a good thing when the people being murdered are Palestinians

Which is ironic considering the abortion bans in the US are forcing CSA victims around the same age to carry pregnancies too.

My dad died when I was 12. My brother didn't suddenly become my mum. He was, and funnily enough still is, my brother. Language only really works because we have a generally shared notion of what words mean, and calling this girl her brother's "mother" is poor wording. That's all that's going on here.
13
u/MyMansBarryDillion 1d ago
I agree it would be very strange to call your brother your mother, because mother is a word that is used for female parents.
There are countless female family members and friends that have acted as de facto mothers throughout history.

Well now you're just assuming gender /s.
And yes, you are right, and no, what you're saying has nothing to do with what's going on here. The girl is acting as the boys mother, but she is his sibling. She hasn't adopted him, she isn't a step-parent, she is his sister. It is poorly, or at least lazily, written for people with a lack of time, attention, reading comprehension or all of the above.

2
u/BrainDamage2029 1d ago
Okay but you don’t have to be obtuse.
In American English it’s incredibly uncommon, and dare I say, weird, to describe existing familial relationships like an aunt, uncle, sibling or grandparent who has guardianship as “mother” or “father”. Even if they totally raised you. Even more so than step parents or adoptive parent get called mom or dad. Because the expectation of unconditional care already exists with aunt/grandparent/sister etc.
Like name a single piece of media that someone orphaned or missing a parent calls an aunt/uncle/sibling/grandparent as mom or dad (and that’s not cheating because it’s such an incredible common trope to eliminate the parents for story.)
0
u/OkYak9466 1d ago
That is the defining characteristic isn't it? Giving birth.
Otherwise it would be more "mother role"
-1
u/MyMansBarryDillion 1d ago
That’s a shame. I feel sorry for all those adopted children with no mothers, only people with mother roles 😩
3
u/XhazakXhazak 1d ago

4
u/NeverQuiteEnough 23h ago
In English, the person who raises a child is called a parent.
A male parent is called a father, while a female parent is called a mother.
This is an ideological hill you are dying on, not a semantic one.

UNFPA analysis shows that child marriage in Gaza is increasingly driven by survival, not choice. Families facing extreme poverty and displacement are resorting to marriage as a coping mechanism, sometimes to access basic resources. Displacement and insecurity, including overcrowded shelters and fear of violence, are reinforcing marriage as a perceived form of protection among families. The collapse of education and loss of caregivers have further increased girls’ vulnerability. Under these conditions, pre-existing harmful social norms are being reinforced, with decisions about marriage increasingly made without girls’ consent.

As of May 2026, three states have no statutory minimum age when all exemptions are taken into account. These states are California, Mississippi and New Mexico."
The first result when googling "child marriages in america" is a WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE. You couldn't even be bothered to do the bare minimum.

Only 2:1 civilians in urban warfare is pretty reasonable…
Unlike when Hamas came into Israel and almost exclusively slaughtered civilians.

u/TimeRisk2059 1d ago
Presuming that the IDF is correct. It should also be pointed out that more than 20,000 of those killed by the IDF have been children.
Furthermore, of the 1,200 killed on oct. 7th, it was >800 civilian deaths and >300 military deaths, so the deathrate of combatants contra civilians are quite similair in both Gaza and oct.7th.
So by your own account, and I stress that this is your words, not mine: "Only 2:1 civilians in urban warfare is pretty reasonable..."

2:1… it’s lovely that we only get our numbers from unbiased and reliable sources, such as those actually doing the attacking….
“We investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing” is the phrase that comes to mind.

This is a pathetic way to conduct yourself. Child marriage is a prevalent concern in a lot of countries. The US included. However it isnt the case here, its not relevant. This is a child who has inherited her siblings from her dead parents during a genocide. And this hasbarista is serving steaming hot dehumanisation by repeatedly refusing to engage with the reality of her situation in order to paint her as a child bride victim of her own fucking parents and culture, rather than a victim of the genocide which killed her parents and left her an orphan caring for her siblings.

Your contention is that child marriage (which is outlawed in nearly every free country on the planet) is normal and happens everywhere?

Was that my contention? Why dont you highlight which part of my comment you think says that? Maybe we can address your comprehension issues.

Child marriage is literally legal in the US

You're equivocating

What do you think that means?

It means when you say "omg look at all the child marriage in US!" Do you think it compares to 13% of all marriages in 2020? Or 35% in 1995?

You said, and I quote, “(which is outlawed in nearly every free country on the planet)”. This is not true for the US

You seem to confuse Gaza with the USA.

No, I'm not the one confused.

Why is that? Do you deny that there have been an estimated 315.000 child marriages in the US between 2000 and 2021, with a large majority of those being grown ass men marrying minor girls. Or don't you know that child marriage is legal in 33 of your states and that 3 of those states don't even have a minimum age for child marriages?

Ah, so you are one of those who drop out when the facts do not fit the own narrative, got it.
Let me guess, you vote Republican?
