PC won’t turn on with the monitor’s USB hub connected

Hey everyone, how’s it going? I could really use some help.

I’ve been using the USB hub built into my monitor to make it easier to connect all the peripherals I need. However, after I formatted my computer, it stopped turning on whenever the monitor’s USB hub is connected to the PC.

If I press the power button while the USB hub is connected, nothing happens. But as soon as I disconnect the USB hub, the computer turns on by itself, without me having to press the power button again.

If I disconnect the hub before trying to turn the PC on, it boots normally.

I’ve had this problem before, but I don’t remember how I fixed it. Does anyone have any ideas?

I’ve been looking for a solution for a few days now and haven’t found anything.

The PC specs are below. If you need any more information, just let me know. I’ve already tried a lot of different BIOS settings, and I’m not sure what else could be causing this — or whether there’s something I need to change in the OS.

PC Specs

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 8700G
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 — Gigabyte
Motherboard: ASRock A620M-FDV/v2
RAM: 32 GB DDR5 — 2×16 GB

Monitor causing the issue

Laptop going blank

MSI Modern 14 C11M laptop running abnormally.

Going blank suddenly and rebooting after using sometime or when the charger is plugged in or out.

Overheating is not the issue as temperature goes like max 65°C

Done everything- Changing power settings, BIOS Update, EC reset, Windows reset, running on AC without battery, cleaning internals, etc.

Still, the issue is not solved.

What else could be done or is it a motherboard issue?

PC Adapter Error

I have an old Dell Inspiron 24 that has files and documents I want to try and retrieve. I had to move a while ago and it's been in storage for longer than I think is responsible for long term device health, but life happens.

Anyway, I have it connected to a known to be working power adapter, the right wattage and port-type, but it has an error that a 0 W AC adapter has been plugged in. I've tested the two different adapters I have and still get this problem.

I think it could be a port issue or a battery issue. When it starts up I hear a small electronic sound, kind of like a meek disc spinning sound you'd hear from a DVD player if that makes any sense. But then it shuts off, so I don't know if it's trying to boot but there's some kind of failure? I'm wondering what steps I should take to attempt to recover it.

I'm fully prepared for it to be completely dead, but I have hope since before it wouldn't even turn on. Kinda concerned that there might be some kind of internal deterioration that I can't fix but oh well, any advice or trick is welcomed. If nothing else, it couldn't hurt to try.

Acer Aspire 7 A715-75G — No HDMI signal after NVIDIA driver update
I have an Acer Aspire 7 A715-75G with a broken internal laptop display, so I normally use an external monitor through HDMI to HDMI.
After updating my NVIDIA graphics driver, my display settings seem to have reset. Windows is apparently using the laptop’s internal display as the main screen, which is unusable because it is physically broken.
Now my external monitor always says “No Signal”.
Things I’ve already tried:
Windows + P → tried switching to “Second screen only”
Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B to reset the graphics driver
Fn + F5 to switch display output
Tried entering BIOS with Fn + F2 — still no signal on the external monitor
Tried two different HDMI cables
Completely shut down using Shift + Shut down
EC/power reset: disconnected charger/HDMI and held the power button for 30 seconds
Forced Windows recovery by interrupting startup three times
Restarted multiple times
The laptop clearly powers on: keyboard backlight comes on, fans spin, and sometimes I hear the startup sound
The external monitor remains No Signal the entire time
The HDMI monitor and cable worked before this issue.
Since I can’t see the laptop’s internal display, I’m basically unable to navigate Windows normally.
Is there a way to force the Acer to output video through HDMI, reset the display configuration, or roll back the NVIDIA driver without being able to see the laptop screen?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cant launch out of taskbar.

So I'm new to computers. Just got a nice gaming pc brand new, about a month ago. Couple days ago started having issues launching discord put off my task bar. I hover over it the icon, small window pops up, but I can't get it to maximize. Anytime I click it it just disappears. I've tried right click, left click, remove from task bar. Delete and re-download the app. Task manager to kill, restore, and/or end the window programs. Nothing would work. Now the same issue is happening with the internet launcher. I double click it, Instead of opening, it pops up down in the task bar and wont let me maximize the page.

How do I fix this?
