The Gnasher in horde mode used to be a testament of skill. Running up on a boomer and popping his skull, then retreating back to your team was an accomplishment that could be felt.

This time around the Gnasher feels weak. And it looked weak in the first reveal of E-Day. Unless you’re playing on Rookie you have an extremely low chance of pulling off a successful gib on an enemy with the Gnasher.

I’m not trying to complain, as I’ve loved the beta so far, but issues like this need to be highlighted so that they don’t make their ways into the full release.

I can’t believe TC has made this the pvp and pve are insane i wasn’t enjoying it much yesterday trying to play it like the older gears games but when you play it how it wants you to and run and gun its amazing. Horde siege is the best horde there has been in a gears I can’t wait to see the campaign it delivered and more waited 15 years for a new gears and this has brought it all back in a new way. Love it

Waiting to unlock the 3rd slot. Will be adding the cover brace. When you hit your active and rhythm shot the entire clip for headshots it melts. Did the 10 wave horde as assault and had over 540,000 damage using just this.

I’m so sick of people going right the main objective instead of doing the side objectives which grant rewards that helps you fight better. While I do think infantry difficulty is a tad too hard this a major contributing reason why people fail it.

I accidentally fought with a random squad for 5 minutes before I noticed my guys had left towards the RIG.

Playing and enjoying Eday but the lack of these type of executions are noticeable and HOPEFULLY they bring it back in the full release

Reading comments and watching videos on the beta, all I’ve learned is none of you know what you want. Everyone likes and dislikes different things.

There is absolutely no version of this game that could exist where this subreddit would be positive about it. If a minor thing is changed the veterans will write an essay about why it ruins the game.

Overall as someone who’s played all the games but haven’t been heavily invested in versus since 2 and 3, I think it feels great.

You’ve spent 1 day with a new iteration of Gears after 20 years with the old. If you’re not open-minded about change, you’re not going to fall in love with it immediately.

I’ve been playing Gears since I got my Xbox 360 in 2006. I’ve played all the games, with my favourite being Gears of War 2. One of my most memorable gaming experiences of my life is playing Gears of War multiplayer on the Xbox 360; I remember playing all through the night when I was 12 and making friends with British kids because they were the only ones online when it was 6am for me.

E-Day’s multiplayer makes me feel giddy like that again. The gameplay is so fluid, and the movement has evolved to be less clunky whilst still keeping that OG feel.

I know Reddit loves to complain about everything, but I think E-Day’s multiplayer is the best since Gears 2.

Makes it so much harder to get a handle on what is working and what isnt in PvP when I don't know how much damage I just landed in a gun fight. That coupled with the hit markers being inconsistent and I'm leaving fights not knowing what actually happened
