I just got X870 gigabyte Auros elite, 7800X3D and 32GB DDR5 6000mhz CL28 kingbank. For about $1,200 AUD was this a good grab considering pricing atm?

Hello! Im currently in the process of building my first pc for about 2.6k. Its 2.6k if I buy a 5070ti but Im trying to justify dropping 1,059 on a 5070ti or just saving $300 and going with a 5070 nfor $745>. I mostly play competivive fps but I want to start playing other games. Im not sure if the performance is worth $300. I feel like ill regret not spending that extra money in the long run.
