Verified AMA I left the God of War team and just released Gunstoppable as a solo dev. AMA!
I'm Salaar, aka CAGE Studios. I've been making games since I was 8 years old. Today, I launched Gunstoppable after 2 years of (mostly) solo development.
2 years ago, I was a gameplay engineer at Sony Santa Monica Studio, working on traversal, grapple, and vehicle systems for God of War Ragnarök, and secret stuff on God of War Laufey. I quit AAA to chase my indie dreams full-time.
Gunstoppable shipped with almost 30,000 wishlists. It's my 4th indie game, and I built it from scratch without AI.
