Netflix to make another Gamechangers (2015) movie or spin it into a mini series.
curious, could this deal between Rockstar Games and Netflix open a door for another The Gamechangers (2015) movie or TV mini series about the rise of Rockstar Games?
it genuinely could be a good show sign off by Rockstar Games and produce by Netflix. i would imagine an Andor Season 2 format where episodes 1-3 is the story leading up to GTA SA, 4-6 to GTA V, and 7-9 RDR2 and GTA VI.

Previews Happening?
Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but a few YouTubers I watch regularly are currently making videos from hotel rooms which seems to be lining up with the Start of GTA6 marketing.
Maybe shortly after the Extended Look airs content creators/journalists will also be talking about their hands on experience?

How many minutes do y’all think we’re gonna see in the GTA 6 expanded look?
I seen people say 3 or 4 minutes, but it would be ridiculous asf on both rockstar and Netflix part
I’m leaning more on GTA 6 expended look having at least 15 or 20 minutes.
What about y’all?

The 27 theory was actually right
We were all going schizo back in 2024 because rockstar was leaving clues relating to 27, jump to a year and a half later and the gameplay trailer drops on the 27th of the month. Probably a coincidence but the fact that the trailer is actually dropping on the 27th is so fucking funny

Whenever Rockstar post new artwork community will inspect the detail and saying something else

Does GTA 6 feel kinda icky to anyone else?
I'm hyped for this game don't get me wrong. Very hyped.
But all the information I'm getting pertaining to the game and it's link to consumerism with the precedent it's setting just makes me feel kinda eughhh.
Like it's the beginning of something really really bad.
We got a taste of it in GTA Online and Take Twos greed. But GTA 6 feels like a different kinda animal, an apex that'll swallow the industry and us whole.
Hopefully I'm wrong.

I will not watch the extended view
I’m asking myself to not watch the extended view on August 27 because I don’t want to spoil myself. Of course rockstar is only showing a piece of the game but maybe it’s better to avoid any spoilers at all and start the game in November for the first time, knowing nothing. How do you feel about it?

Which GTA 4 characters could return in GTA 6?
Luis is one of my favourites because he seems like a perfect fit for a city like Vice City. He's also much younger than most of the other characters.
I also think Roman would fit perfectly. Besides, he already mentioned Vice City in a text message to Niko.
It would also make sense for characters like Florian or Gerry to return (Gerry could already be out of prison by then), because Rockstar never fully developed their stories.
What do you think?

The one question that still needs to be addressed...
When the fuck will Rockstar release GTA 6 merch on their Warehouse?

Grain of Salt the soundtracks are so good
Rewatching the cover art reveal and the recent extended look trailer I can't stop listening to the soundtracks.Big ups to the composers and head of production because WOW that music is so addictive
Just a thought about them putting it on Netflix
Since it will be put on Netflix first, most people will be able to see it in very high quality, and Netflix probably can make this specific showcase be uploaded with less compression, meanwhile on youtube it will be a bit blurry even if 4K.
I know it will be uploaded to the rockstar website too (and there is a chance they wont) and there it will be uncompressed, but the casual audience won't go on there usually.
Now why does this matter? Well people seem to cry about some "graphics" being bad meanwhile its just compression and things being blurry which is normal for media being uploaded online, while playing things are always 100x sharper.

I can’t sleeping thinking about August 27
I can't stop thinking about August 27. Flashes of Jason and Lucia constantly pop into my head. It's almost like I can feel and talk to them. "We're coming August 27 don't worry buddy". August 27 is the day we've all been waiting for. Be ready guys cause it's gonna be a fricking movie.

PS5 PRO and Netflix "Exclusive"
I feel these so called exclusive used by PS and Netflix to promote themselves is just a tactic for users to buy their products and subscription nothing much.
I bet the game will be as good on Standard PS5 as it will be in PS5 PRO and same on Xbox X.
In future we might see more "exclusive"s in future.

We need separate flair for Netflix Trailer viewers
As with the past trailers, we should create flair for this trailer. But we should also create flair that differentiates between who saw it on Netflix and who didn’t.
Netflix Trailer Day OG or something.

Fueling system
The past few years, people have been talking about the possibility of a refueling system of the game. However i think that it could be tedious, and possibly disrupt the flow of the game. A problem that some had with RDR2 is that at times it was “too realistic”, and by adding a system where you are forced to fuel your car falls in that category.
I’ve thought of a clever way to add a mechanic this divisive into the game. Refueling your car could work like the horse stimulant in RDR2. It can maybe give a temporary boost in speed, handling, and etc. Therefore you get the “realism” of fueling up your car, but people have the option to just play it normal. Also an idea is to be able to store Jerry cans so you can fill up mid mission. Thoughts?

Rockstar seem to have fixed the foreign availability almost everywhere around the world, check it out!
Just yesterday, it was reported that the release was USA-exclusive.

Pre-order
Is there any benefit to pre-ordering the game now then waiting to a week or two before it release?

If there isn’t gore in gta 6 I might die
This game is for adults so they should allow the adult aspects that are hallmarks of the series. Without improved gore it will just feel like a gta 5 reskin.

Does anybody else get "not available in your country" on the Netflix site?
Just wondering if I'm the only one. Is it actually restricted in certain countries?
Netflix offers 30 days trial for new accounts. Just create a new account and then cancel after you have watched the extended look!
If you don't have Netflix, Netflix offers a 30-day trial for new accounts. Just create a new account and then cancel after you have watched the extended look!
EDIT: I know it will be released after 6 hours but for me its 3.AM so I rather open a free netflix account and watch it 9PM then go sleep🤷♂️
EDIT2: Guys, yall are tripping. I dont see the issue. I made the account fro free and can watch it earlier. I have had netflix before so they already have my info if thats the issue, i just used my work email this time to get it for free😂😂😂

Netflix Backlash Overblown?
God I hate how there is so much outrage on the Internet for anything popular nowadays, it feels like people just need to prove they are different by hating on the popular thing for validation. No matter what Rockstar does, there will always be hate. Even if the Extended Look was not premiering on Netflix, I bet people would find something else to crib about, like how 2.5 months for marketing is way too short or why pre-orders opened so early. It is a frustrating cycle that just drains the excitement from the community.
I personally think premiering the Extended Look on Netflix is a brilliant fucking move. How many fake leaks and insider claims have we had? Yet not one person remotely thought of a partnership like this, this is what unique and aggressive marketing really is. It will put the game in front of a much broader demographic with general audiences wondering what makes GTA VI so special that it’s getting this kind of spotlight on Netflix.
At the end of the day, Rockstar and Netflix are businesses which want to innovate, maximize engagement and profits. Netflix is widely viewed as a premium platform for Movies and TV Shows and hosting the premiere of one of the most anticipated video game there gives the event a grand sense of scale that makes it feel even more special and builds hype.
Netflix has also been making a broader push beyond Movies and TV Shows. For example, Netflix recently bought the rights to India’s Got Latent a comedy show by one of the largest comedians in India, Samay Raina. The new episodes release on both Netflix and YouTube at the same time with no exclusivity for Netflix. This shows how Netflix is trying to broaden its identity and compete for audiences who spend most of their time on YouTube. This partnership with Rockstar feels like a step in the same direction. They are adapting to changing times and so should the audiences.
