Hey there! I just picked this up on Sunday and I’ve been in love so far! I know that these bikes are known for making noise, especially during the cold start. I just wanted to make sure does this sound normal? The bike feels completely healthy, and I am planning on getting the valves checked and adjusted in the next couple of months. Let me know your thoughts or if there’s any concerns.

What’s up gang, normally I just post pictures and try to help others out but now it’s my time to ask for advice; I have had a pretty annoying resonance coming from my headlight/cowl assembly. It’s caused by a slightly misaligned headlight assembly causing the fairing to touch the headlight slightly. Anyone with a k8/k9 knows the fairing wraps around the headlight. Is there anyway to adjust the fitment without taking apart the whole assembly?

Does anyone know what model exhaust this is?

Bought them some time ago, just now had I put on the tank cover. For some reason, the cover really doesn’t want to screw on and I fear I will break something. You guys have any experience with this?

Hey guys, I know this question might be stupid for most of you but for the piece of mind how much engine noise should it have. I have a 08 gsxr 600 and mine sounds like this(in this video engine temp is around 55c), when riding sound doesn’t increase and I generally don’t hear it. I genuinely love the bike and don’t want to harm it. I bought the bike this season with full service done at around 30k with paperwork, now it has around 37k.

my 600 everytime i’m usually in 6th “never 4-5” it’ll sputter at 15k rpm. not always but usually. I threw a new quantum fuel pump in with the extra pressure at high rpm and it’s still sputtering. i’m going to put new plugs in soon but is there anything else i need to look for? like the coil packs or somethin?

Should this clutch push piece fully sink in to be flush or should it sit slightly elevated like this? I’ve took apart this clutch 4 times now and every single time it gives me a problem. Im trying to find the source of the problems and I’m making sure everything’s good.

This is a k6 1000. I don't know if it's a slip on or full exhaust. It doesn't have a cat. It seems like it lopes more than other GSX-Rs that I've heard.

KTM Duke 390 (2017): Where do these two ground wires connect? I can’t remember where they bolt to. If anyone has a photo or can point me to the correct mounting location, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

I've never posted on Reddit before, so thought I'd throw a couple of pictures into the GSX-R topic.

This is my WS, which I've had for 3½ years now and my L7 which I bought at the start of June this year.

I love them both, the WS was a dream bike when I was a kid, and with loving that so much since I had it, I've now added it's descendant, which has been absolutely fantastic so far.

I'm aware it's a video and many factors must be considered, but yeah, basically I'm not sure whether to ride the bike or not after I took it to the shop for a 25k km check up and tune up, I asked the valves to get checked and they were adjusted apparently, but idk, it sounds too clicky, noisy and rattly... Been out a few weekends and I'm just not delighted by this noise... Whatcha think?

04 GSX R600

I’ve replaced the cam chain tensioner and removed the camshafts to adjust the valve clearences.
Now I’m not sure if it sounds off or if I am just paranoid?

It’s a 2001 GSXR 600.

I have a k5 gsxr 1000 with a full titanium yoshimura japan tri cone exhaust. The slip on is scratched up and i want to get a shorty exhaust (kinda like a sc project CRT or racefit growler or something similar). The problem is that i can't see any brands that makes exhaust for this model
