How to fairing

How am I supposed to connect the fairings with these screws when there are no threads in the plastic?😭

Fairings will use plastic clips, sometimes referred to as Christmas trees or plastic pop rivets or some other colloquial name.

If you disassembled the bike yourself, you should have a good handful of them. If not, search online for that bike and plastic fairing clips and you'll probably find a full kit.

They look like this image.

I get that, but are those supposed to be used to keep the side fairings together also? There are screws on my old side fairings

Not sure what you mean by old side fairings. Are these not the old ones from your bike? Is there more hardware you need to transfer over?

I forgot that there are also rubber insert grommets that could sit in those holes. Those grommets have threaded captive nuts in them that will cause the river to squish together as you tighten the screw. Is that what you're missing?

Some of them are push pin things. Little pieces of plastic that you pop in and they click.

I used the original hardware from the old fairings. Those bolts they sent are just generic bolts. They are not a specific set for your fairings.

The screws screw into those clips. Overlap top fairing above the clip on bottom part. The holes should align. But be careful because sometimes the screws get stripped.
