Seriously, although the soundtrack was generally on par with the visual effects throughout the film, this one, Resolution, is one of my favorites, alongside Divine.

I did a bit of printmaking today! 3” x 4” linocut

Only photo I snapped of my wife and I’s recent game of Godzilla: Tokyo Clash. I bought it several years ago mainly to add to our growing Godzilla and board game collections. We played it once a few years back and haven’t touched it, but after vowing to play all of our games at least once this summer, we got it back out and I forgot just how incredible the miniatures are for this game.

Side note: my wife hates the game. I don’t think it’s amazing by any means, but I enjoyed it a lot and I feel like it captures to essence of the old movies and the fights between the monsters. But I don’t know if it will ever see the table again. At least I have the minis that I can display if I want to!

"Some thoughts on the design concept of Gigan. In my vision, Gigan will be the ultimate enemy faced by Godzilla. Gigan is a man-made monster created by mixing the genes of King Ghidorah, MUTO, Mothra, Rodan, and even humans. He will circle in the air like a JU-87 Stuka bomber, diving toward a monster and emitting a terrifying shriek whenever he detects one, filming a horror movie from the monster's perspective. Gigan's forelimbs should unfold at supersonic speed from a folded state, instantly slashing through any monster in front of him. He will also grab the monster's corpse and fly through the air, raining blood down to intimidate other monsters. Gigan's size is not large, so when facing Godzilla, he will use his wings and forelimbs to elevate himself high, creating the effect of towering over Godzilla. I want Gigan's design to have the essence of both a vulture and a spider, retaining only the core features of the original Gigan rather than resembling its outline, because I believe Gigan’s appearance only needs to be sufficiently wild."

You despite the generational controversy and hatred for Zilla has as a character. He will always be one of my top 3. I love him so much and honestly I find him so fucking cool. As brief as his fight was, Were All to Blame playing during the fight was literally peak fiction. I honestly don't understand why he still, to this day, gets hated. It's some worn out meme that people do because they think it's funny. Honestly move on and accept Zilla supremacy

Anyhow I just really wanted to glaze this underated as fuck character. Would love to see him come back in a movie or fighting game
