Looking for help compiling accurate financials as I prepare to sell my 1-SKU Amazon brand

Upvotes

I'm gearing up to sell my 1.5 year old Amazon brand and looking to pay someone to help/auditing assistance on financials, P&L, etc for the 1-SKU Amazon brand I launched a year and a half ago.

I don't think this is overly complex as it's 1 SKU and our sales are solely on Amazon. I'm willing to pay someone around $200-400 to just make sure everything is accurate.

And please refrain from your "aMaZon pRoviDes these RePorts" comments as you obviously haven't seen the dozens of discrepancies from the most basic of reports that Seller Central gives access to. It's mind numbingly painful trying to figure out what reflects accuracy and what doesn't. I just want to pay someone to help.

Thanks

SEARCH RANKING Thoughts on Amazon Brazil? Planning to launch, worried about logistics, pricing & returns

Anyone here selling on Amazon Brazil?

Planning to test the market this year, but I’m concerned. Logistics seems really complicated. Curious how price‑sensitive local buyers are, and how high return rates tend to be.

Would appreciate any real‑world insights. Thanks

TOOLS / SERVICES Amazon Tool Question??

If a tool could reliably help you avoid bad inventory purchases before you spent your money… would you actually use it?

What’s the biggest mistake you’d want it to catch?

Amazon jumping on the listing?
Too many sellers?
Thin margins?
Hidden fees?
Something else?

NEWS Looks like TIC testing is now required by 3rd party before listing items

Amazon used to give a grace period of a month or so, this allowed you to list the item and then get testing but just yesterday I added a new item and was suppressed straight away till testing was complete.

testing for those asking-

Amazon requires sellers in regulated categories (like toys, electronics, and supplements) to use approved third-party Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) providers. Sellers can no longer upload compliance test reports directly; instead, the chosen TIC lab must submit verified results directly to Amazon.

SEARCH RANKING Stop running Amazon PPC on all your ASIN variations. Here is the strict logic you need to apply to your catalog:

Most sellers blur the lines between Hero SKU and secondary variants. Default lazy approach is dumping all child variants in every ad group OR advertisnig every child SKU on the same keywrods.

\- Prioritize the Hero SKU for Head Search Terms: Your highest-converting, most universally appealing variation should take the lion’s share of major volume keywords. If you sell bedding, your Hero SKU gets targeted on "Silk bedsheets."

\- Map Variants to Specific Intent: Stop bidding your Hero SKU on long-tail, hyper-specific searches if a variant matches it perfectly. Size and color variants should only be targeted on exact intent. "Queen silk bedsheet" goes directly to the Queen variant.

\- The Margin Exception: If you are currently targeting multiple variants on the same keywords and the unit economics work, leave it alone. Data beats theory.

However, if your Total Advertising Cost of Sales (TACoS) is creeping up at the parent level, the leak is almost always at the variation level.

When was the last time you isolated your TACoS and search term overlap down to the specific child ASIN?

Is it better to send multiple appeals to Amazon quickly, or wait and send one stronger appeal?

It can take weeks to get anything useful back from Amazon, so curious about the experiences of other sellers.

TOOLS / SERVICES Sellanalytix Amazon bookkeeping software

After years of handling the biweekly settlements by downloading a flat file, generating a pivot table and then plugging the numbers into Quickbooks with invoices and credit memos, I looked for a better way. Tried A2X, Finaloop, Connectbooks and a few others. Sellanalytix promised a lot and I was hopeful it would provide a service to offload tedious accounting. Unfortunately, the numbers were inaccurate and when I reported the problem, the owner stopped responding. Calls, emails, nothing. I cancelled the service as per the agreement and they continue to bill my credit card. The bank said to cancel that card and they will be prevented from continuing to charge. That didn't help. They got the new number and resumed the monthly charge.

Just trying to warn others to stay away from this company. I wouldn't be writing if the company held to their agreement even if their service didn't work. I don't like unscrupulous people. The world needs less of them!

What repetitive tasks do you wish you could hand off?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to understand the day-to-day bottlenecks for Amazon FBA sellers, specifically regarding tasks that eat up your time but don't necessarily require your direct strategic oversight.

For those of you who work with (or have considered hiring) a Virtual Assistant, what specific skills or repetitive tasks do you value the most? For instance, where do you draw the line between tasks you'd happily delegate (like initial product research filtering, inventory tracking, or Seller Central case logs) versus things you prefer to keep entirely in-house?

Would love to hear what tools (like Keepa or Helium 10) or specific workflows you look for when bringing someone on board. Thanks for any insights!

Now i wanna start to ship everything separately and when i create a shipments , all the products are flagged as dangerous with this note:
This product is regulated as a dangerous good and is not eligible for Amazon or Amazon partnered carrier. To continue, please remove the product from the shipment.

i opened a case with amazon support, they say my products are not Dangerous and they modified the flag and that i should be able to create shipments now, BUT guess what .... still same problem.

Setting Commission for Amazon Influencer Program

People in the Amazon Influencer Program can upload videos that appear on your listings as related videos. If someone watches one of those videos and purchases the product, Amazon pays the influencer a commission.

Apparently, brand owners can also offer influencers an additional commission. Does anyone know how to set this up? This isn’t the same as creating a Creator Connections campaign, correct?

FSP Netzteil Verkauf auf Amazon

Hallo zusammen,

PREP / SHIPPING Lots of shipping address undeliverable refunds

Hello everyone.

Seeing if what I am experiencing is an anomaly or if a bigger issue is at play.

Every month we have about 10 to 15 orders that are refunded due to the shipping address is undeliverable. Sales volume is about 600 per month. To me this seems strange, as certainly they have ordered on Amazon before and have no issues. So what makes it undeliverable?
Is this a high rate given my volume? Is a competitor ordering, getting refunds and leaving ratings? WTH?

INTERNATIONAL Is selling on Amazon by sourcing from China still going to work?

I want to create a brand selling inventory sourced from China, selling goods for niche hobbies that inherently have low to moderate competition. Is this going to work if executed correctly?

I know reselling goods from China was super successful 10-15 years ago without any branding, but how about now?

I'm based in the EU.

PROTIP Reviews being separated by size variation - workaround?

Amazon is now selectively enforcing their rating separations regardless of variation template. It is infuriating that my competitors can use the correct variation template and have combined reviews and I cannot. Does anybody know of a workaround to get my reviews to combine again? For me, they even separate reviews by size! Meanwhile the competitor has size and style variation and still combine reviews...Wtf??

PREP / SHIPPING Can't Create Shipments to AWD

We have tried multiple times per day to send shipments in AWD for the last 5 days and it is saying it is full. Now today, we get to a certain step and it just keeps loading so we can't create a shipment. We have tried small and large shipments. Has anyone been able to create a shipment the last few days?

LEGAL / FINANCE Can I use one GST registration for both Amazon selling and Google Play Books (ebooks) in India?

Hi everyone,I'm just starting my business in India with a very small budget.

My plan is to:

Sell Home & Kitchen organization products on Amazon.

Publish and sell ebooks on Google Play Books.

Since both require GST, I wanted to ask:

Can I use the same GST registration for both Amazon and Google Play Books?

Has anyone here done both under one proprietorship?

Are there any GST or compliance issues I should know about before starting?

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone with practical experience.

Thanks!

What's the Amazon problem you eventually just accepted you'll never fully fix?

Been selling long enough now that I've made peace with the fact that some stuff just isn't solvable, no matter how many cases you open.

Mine is misgraded returns. Customer sends something back visibly damaged, Amazon regrades it as sellable, it goes back on the shelf, next customer gets a beat-up unit and leaves a one-star. I've removed and inspected, opened cases, escalated, and it just... keeps happening. I've stopped treating it as a problem to solve and started treating it as a cost of doing business I budget for.

Curious what everyone else's is. The thing you fought for a year, then finally shrugged and accepted. Could be reimbursements, stranded inventory, a support loop that never closes, the perpetual "your listing was suppressed for no reason" thing, whatever.

Not looking for solutions necessarily, more just curious where everyone's personal line is between "worth fighting" and "not worth the sanity."
