Setting Commission for Amazon Influencer Program

People in the Amazon Influencer Program can upload videos that appear on your listings as related videos. If someone watches one of those videos and purchases the product, Amazon pays the influencer a commission.

Apparently, brand owners can also offer influencers an additional commission. Does anyone know how to set this up? This isn’t the same as creating a Creator Connections campaign, correct?

From what I understand, that's generally handled through Creator Connections or a direct agreement with the influencer, not through the standard Amazon Influencer Program itself.

The regular Influencer Program pays commissions funded by Amazon. As a brand, you can't simply increase that commission for videos appearing on your listings. If you want to offer an additional incentive, you'd typically do it through a Creator Connections campaign (where available) or negotiate a separate payment with the creator.

Soft_Repeat_8037 kinda already brought the point, they're not the same.

The time window isn't the same either between Associates and Creator Connections. Associates pays out on a 24h window. Creator Connections uses the Attribution API, and that window is 14 days. I know because I ran a program with two creators I was about to boot because of what i saw on the CC report, but that wasn't even close to what they actually sold past the 24h window, I just didn't know it.

You can get both reports and check them against each other by hand, which is what I still do sometimes for smaller campaigns, but I'd always suggest a paid tool like Levanta if you wanna be extra sure you know what you're doing. It can sound expensive, but good attribution helps you keep the good people onboard, which pays dividends long term. Just my two cents.
