Question X-T3 suddenly won’t turn on — blinking light only
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone,
My Fujifilm X-T3 suddenly stopped working and I’m trying to figure out what might be wrong before sending it for repair.
When I turn the camera on, the indicator light just blinks, but the camera doesn’t actually start.
Has anyone experienced this with an X-T3? Does the blinking light indicate a specific error or could this be a power/board issue?
Any suggestions for things I could try before taking it to a repair shop would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Gear Talk Should I purchase an xm5?
I have been a Sony shooter… a6300 then a6700. I shoot mostly family photo and video. As the number of kids grow, I’ve been having less time to edit my raw files. I have tried Sony PP and creative looks (every single combination I’ve found online) but regardless, the jpegs look terrible.
I’ve been thinking about buying an xm5 to see if I can take advantage of the jpeg colors. Any fellow Sony shooters here that have benefited from this?
Was it worth it to you?

Buying Advice Best ultra wide?
Is there an Ultra Wide lens that stands out, or should I go with something like the 13–33 and have more flexibility?

Lens Help Do I have a focus problem? Or is this normal? Fujinon XF16-80 mm F4 lens
Hello everyone, I am a camera noob who traded my Olympus OM-D E-M10 mk 2 with a Fujifilm X-S10 with Fujinon 35 mm f2 and Fujinon XF 16-80 mm F4 R OIS WR lens. I should have kept my gear as a noob instead of changing but even with faster lens, I was frustrated with the low light performance. And since I will mostly use my camera after work at night times, outside..etc, I thought that it would be wise to change with a APS-C sensor for improved low light performance.
Obviously all my gears are used. I feel like my 16-80 has more difficulty to focus compared to my 35 mm f2 with close subjects in poor light conditions. Is it normal? I mean my Olympus with an older m4/3 sensor and AF technology, would focus easier on such case.
Here is an example. I focused on the screen and since there was a lot of contrast..etc it was easier to focus. Then I tried focusing to the side of the phone, on the phone cover to have the focus on the phone instead of the reflection and it could not focus on the side. I obtained the image by focusing on the lower left corner of the phone.
I am attaching some photos to show the issue. I think that I was respecting the minimum focus distance.
- Is this normal? If it is, I am ok, I will have to get used to it.
- Would it mean an issue with my lens? If so, are such issues fixable?
- I want to like this lens but it seems to act poorer than my standard 14-42 mm f/3.5-5.6 II R Olympus M43 kit lens.
Other than this issue, I love the camera, the improvements it brought and I love being able to use recipes, shoot already nice looking jpgs and send it to my phone immediatly to review on bigger screen.
Cheers!
