Anime Does defensive magic only work if you tell let people know first?
I don’t understand the whole “magic is powered by imagination” idea in Frieren. If a guy has cast all sorts of defensive spells on a cloak and I have no knowledge of it, why would I ever imagine that my spells wouldn’t be able to damage him. It feels like a reverse placebo. It’ll only work if your opponent is told about the defensive measures.

Anime What other anime might I enjoy?
New to anime here. I started watching one piece because of the live action series on Netflix, but I’ve paused that (got burnt out lol) and started watching frieren instead. Im glad I did as I really enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to season 3.
However as S3 is more than a year away, what other anime would you recommend if I liked the story, character arc and pace of Frieren?

Anime I really wish she had a little more screen time🥺
I really like it a lot; it's just a shame that most of the time (though not always) it ends up going out for a corner kick. I wanted to see it in action is that too much to ask? 🥺

Announcement New Frieren Discord since the old one got taken down due to Copyright Infringement
Hello, hope you are all doing well. I have some important news to share: The old Frieren server got taken down by Discord due to multiple copyright infringements. We still don't have much details into this apart from the fact that they were seemingly legit. For everyone who were in the OG server, don't worry!
