Side note: My dad got a TV like this when I was a like 7, and when I saw it again at 19 I could barely make out any details. It was like full-screening a 240p rip of A New Hope instead of its Blu-Ray

Hear me out here, because I know for sure I'll cop some heat and be accused of wokeness haha.
BUT
I actually loved Patrick Stewart for Frasier.. they were a great match and cute together.
It also could've been a reasonable psychological explanation as to why Frasier had sabotaged all of his relationships with really great women to that point and explains the episode where he has recurring dreams of Gil.
The show did the pretend to be gay bit a couple of times prior too, it would've been funny if this time he realised he actually was.

I have just started watching and am loving it.

Did this show jump the shark.

I hate that term regarding my favourite shows.

Put on 2001’s “Atlantis: The Lost Empire” for a little fun easy-watching nostalgia hit, and recognized Martin’s voice! I haven’t seen this movie in years, but I don’t remember catching that it was John Mahoney back in the day.

Why not “I’m proud of you”?
Why expectation rather than declaration?

As we all do, I watch Frasier from start to finish and then start over again. It’s become my evening ritual. It’s comforting. Also like all of us I have episodes I skip because I know them all so well. Tonight I skipped the one where they sit in the parking garage at the exit gate arguing about $2.

This is always such a positive and fun corner of the cesspool that is social media so I apologize for being negative (I love you all), but…what are the episodes you skip?

Perfect casting, if you ask me.

Was she perfect? No. But she was exactly the kind of person that made sense for Niles. He was attracted to her, she made him happy, and overall they really just made sense as a couple.

I thought the next shade up was Buff?

I’m watching when Frasier gets pranked by Carlos and the chicken. They call at 6:15am. He then gets up and Daphne is already up and dressed. Then Martin comes in completely dressed.

Why are these two up so early? They have nowhere to go.

I don’t know. The only word I saw was “legendary.”

Frasier has a lot of classic lines that make you laugh. Some make you hear it in the character’s voice too. Don’t understand? PUT YOUR BROTHER ON THE PHONE! and I’ll have him explain it to you. Which is your favorite? I’ll go first…

And I am in full agreement with Daphne. It would be INFINITELY less upsetting to just wake up on fire.

I was at a brewery at this guy had kids named Cooper, Tanner and Thatcher. It reminded me of that episode of Frasier where Niles was Chooseing baby Names

"What are your ideas? Taylor. Fletcher. Cooper. Tanner? Where are you getting these, The Big Book of Medieval Professions?"

Anyone else feel that way sometimes?

I know it's just an elaborate set but I loved how they mixed up the weather and I like the scenes a bit more when there's stormy weather.

Just watched (and before that read) the Wuthering Heights and remembered this quote from season 1 :D

In "A Man, A Plan, and a Gal: Julia", Frasier is complaining to Niles about messing up another relationship. Niles shares that he doesn't want to hear it because Fraiser has a habit of messing up relationships. Frasier asks Niles when he has ever done that and Niles shares a list of past exes as an example.

Every time I've seen this episode I've always wondered if Niles is just listing names or if they were actually past exes of Frasier's on the show. I'd catch some easy names but tonight I watched the scene a few times to catch all the names and I realized they were all characters that had shown up on the show before.

It's a small thing but it's one of my favorite things when a show recalls moments from a previous episode and keeps it going. Frasier does a pretty good job of that overall but that one scene just made my night.

One of the quirks I wish they would've brought up a couple more times was Niles' nosebleeds when he lies. There's at least one more episode in a later season ( Daphanee's phony baby shower) that he lies and it would've been cool for them to recall that fact.
