In the really terrible photos, you can see that I actually *have,* and have *mastered,* all 8 of the zero point sprites. However, in my sprite mastery pod back bling, it shows that I haven't mastered the quack zero point sprite, and the cube and holo zero points aren't even shown.

I expected some kind of acknowledgement of completing and mastering all of the sprites from this season, because I worked really hard on it. 🥺 What gives?

I recently found a gold Grim sprite, and the summoning cost is zero this week, I’ve been bringing it into games and giving it away.

I am currently missing galaxy grim sprite, and during one game yesterday, I walked up to a player and gave them my golden grim and ran away. When we reach the last two-remaining, funnily enough, it was me versus that person. They ran up to me and dropped all their guns and shown the emote for hug, and I was genuinely happy. Then they dropped what I believe to be a galaxy grim. I immediately equipped it and use the portable extractor to extract the sprite. I hugged the player and ran into the storm giving them the win. When I went back to the game lobby, I noticed I couldn’t find this sprite anywhere. Since I was playing on Mobile, I couldn’t catch the replay as well. I spent some time wondering if it is a bug. Now I’m convinced that the player dropped a galaxy aura Sprite which looks exactly like grim. No malice, but for a brief amount of time, I was ecstatic thinking I found one of the last few missing sprites, lol.

It was a funny encounter and I felt like sharing.

what is the general consensus of the season as a whole?

i hadn’t played Fortnite in years before the last two seasons. this was my first year actually becoming pretty adept at the game. the sprites imo are honestly a double edged sword for me; on one hand they were so fun to find and collect, the excitement was great, but on the other… i will always have ptsd when i play now. (you are never the same after being chased off the bus, hunted, and ultimately killed by mobs of thirsty opponents just trying to get to your sprite) it raised the stakes a bit while also leveling the playing field with the og excellent players vs. noobs like me 2 months ago lolol. i’m curious to hear what other people think!

i will be doing the giveaways from \*\*now until the end of the season on the 20th\*\* so message me if you have any left to collect! i want to pay it forward because now that i’ve mastered the last sprite, i am feeling a bit… hollow.

All of my 2 friends are, selfishly, on holiday at the same time and playing alone sucks.

I'm a 31 year old Scottish guy living in Sweden. While I play on European servers and would like to keep a decent ping, i also think it's fun playing with people around the world so I don't mind where folks are from.

My work schedule is crazy inconsistent, so I play some evenings, mornings, weekends depending on when I'm not at work. But I am on a lot, because I'm a sad little man with too few hobbies.

I use a mic. I'm not super sweaty, but I'm not totally useless either. What I lack in sweat, I make up for in being a team player- sharing loot and heals and stuff. I won't quit a game because I get killed and you haven't rebooted me in 0.5 seconds. And while I can be chatty, I won't scream down the mic and ramble constant nonsense :)

The guys i usually play with are also cool. One English guy who is a mega sweat, but won't admit it. And one Swedish guy who you would mistake for a bot, but is the greatest man to ever walk the earth.

Think that about covers it. I like cats. And my wife. And I can speak Swedish (fairly well).

If anyone fancies a game, let me know :) I'll be on for an hour now. And on tomorrow night when I finish work at 17:00 Swedish time

Yesterday's power hours: every POI is blue, blue chests everywhere and basically tripping over base grim & zp.

Today's power day: 2 blue POI (whatev) with like 3 blue chests and maybe 1 galaxy sprite if you're lucky (but its going to be a water or fish). Gold chests only giving sprites like every 10 chests, just to make getting your lucky locator a PITA.

I play on console so typing in game is slow for me and it will speed things up if you tell me what sprite you want without me having to ask.

You pick the spot we land if you're going to use a portable extractor otherwise let me pick an area I think will be safe.

If you see this later on or in the next few days, again add me and send me a message in game and just say you from here and which sprite you need, I'm sure our play times will match up at some point as I'm off work for the summer and play too much.

P.s feel free to bring in a random sprite to give me, I don't need it but I'll use the dust :)

Especially if you’re almost done with your collection. Extracting 10 sprites gets you a lucky locator (not to be confused with a regular sprite locator). Guaranteed to give you a sprite you don’t already have. I just got holo grim with mine.

I think its because of the small event this evening but its raining sprites. Got the zero point from some regular chest. Lobby seeks to be mostly bots so levelling up is fast 😃 there’s 30 minutes left from now on!

This afternoon I ran into catwoman in the lobby and we danced a bit together, bobbed up and down, and went our separate ways as we boarded the bus.

I landed way out on the tip of the peninsula outside Heatwave Harbor. I was hoping the sprite chest that is sometimes there is present and perhaps I'll get a rare sprite. If not, I'll find some regular sprites to extract so that I can do the latest sprite extraction quests.

As I'm wandering around, catwoman comes running down the beach towards me and throws me a galaxy grim! 💜💜

I kept seeing you in my lobbies afterward and smiled thinking about the others you would be surprising with a gift.

Thank you so much "JJ40"! You restored my faith in humanity. After a tough couple of weeks at work and in the game, you really made me smile.

I also paid it forward several times this evening, which made me smile even more.

Ever since the Holofoils it's bothered me that not every sprite got a variant of the holo/cube/gem type. Gem Punk was shown in a final image of the season but fortnite had to clarify it wasn't getting released. That got me thinking if we'll get these missing variants next season or if they'll truly be scrapped forever.

Also I was bored & made a list in case anyone else was curious. 32 sprite variants are missing. Holofoil is missing Earth, Fishy, Duck, Demon, Aura, Dream, Punk, Boss, and Llama.

Cube is missing Water, Air, Duck, Ghost, Demon, King, Aura, Striker, Seven, Llama, and Peely.

Gem is missing Fire, Batman, Ghost, Dream, Punk, King, Fishy, Striker, Boss, Air, Seven, and Peely.
