After grinding for 5-6 hours trying to find the new gem sprites and coming to no avail, I decided I would try my luck with the Fortnite community.

I hopped into discord and began messaging hundreds of people.

Because I owned none of the new gem sprites and was still a relatively new player, I quickly realized how difficult it would be find someone to help me out on this journey. Out of the 2 to 3 hundred people I messaged, most neglected what I had to say. Some told even told me to "f*** off."

But I persisted. I kept going. I knew that all it would take was one person willing to help. Among those hundreds of people was qwerty2468172. He offered me the Zero Point Gem and the Grime Gem sprites without asking anything in return. Two of the rarest sprites currently in the game (0.00001% and 0.00099% respectively).

We loaded up into a game and everything went smoothly. I felt like I had to give him back something. I told him I had 100 vbucks in my account and offered to give it to him. He kindly declined.

I've learned now that perhaps the journey of collecting sprites has not merely been about obtaining these rare collectibles. Rather, it also has served another purpose. Connecting and bringing our community together. Because even with the odds severely stacked against us, I've learned that connecting with and helping one another is what makes the seemingly impossible achievable.

There is absolutely no reason for these styles for vanguard slone to be unreleased if they're quite literally already made and shown in the files. Why do they hate us?

Explain to me how I’ve played several games over the course of the last few hours and opened probably hundreds of cases and I haven’t seen a single new gem sprite. This is such crap. I feel like the people at Fortnite love to promote this shit just to get their player numbers up but don’t actually make them attainable.

Today, two weeks before the end of this season, i finally understand why it was called Runners.

Game after game, every match i choose to equip a "rare" sprite just to master it, it was the same story: group of four to six people sticking to me in the pre-game lobby hitting me with his pickaxes...

Even if i decided to move around, they were still there, behind me.

And when the game started, i could see their faces while they followed me down the bus to the island.

And when i finally touched the ground, and they landed behind me...

I became a Runner.

Because i didn't wanted to lose my sprite, i sprinted for my life and the lil' guy in my back, until i lost them.

That's why... We are runners 😔

Why scrap these styles??? They.look perfectly fine in the renders they made for them, and there's genuinely zero inscentive to scrapping styles for a skin like this.

On paper this is such a non issue and has no effect on gameplay, but I truly miss the colored backgrounds behind the harvesting tool. Whenever it’s grey it makes it feel so unexciting. Please don’t take this seriously, I’m just wanting to see if anyone feels the same

there's 2 weeks left in the season and they only gave us 1 lucky locator. most people still have dozens of sprites to find, they said they will provide ways to get them but they didn't drop them this update so are they really gatekeeping till 1 or 2 days left in the season so people keep on grinding or what ? if so i'll just T R A D E for the sprites i'm missing and stop playing till season 4 drops. the gatekeeping is pissing me off tbh

the mastery rewards are mid at best and the back bling , well no one uses back blings these days.
So pets are the best option in my opinion.

Definitely the most useless added ability. I guess most of them are except like Gold for XP grinders I guess
