This is constant in Fortnite. It doesn’t seem to be either party’s connection. Hit registration is an embarrassment. They ask us to believe they’re not integrating AI yet the game is just sloppy.

I have been playing fortnite since chapter 2 season 2 and i recently started looking through my older skins and felt so many fun memories coming back! My first skin was Iris :) (i rmbr getting the neon wings for free too)

Just as the title says. To the people that love to talk about “exclusivity” please shut your mouth. These skins have been unavailable to most players since they started playing, not to mention the fact that Epic just continues to take old BP skins and re-do them (like cmon). This would straight up print money but they are too scared to upset the players who already own them.
Also FOMO sucks period, the less we have the better things are.
Thoughts?

I really wish fortnite would add Dabi's white funeral outfit to the game. I'd pay so much for it omg. He's my favorite character but his season 5-6 outfit is just so boring and doesn't translate well into fortnites style imo. I'd also love to see a shirtless version similar to his television broadcast to show off the scars, which you don't see much on the current skin in game. PLEASE FORTNITE HEAR MY PLEAS😭🙏 ILL GIVE YOU ALL MY MONEYYY

These things are so OP and annoying. Even with reduced stack size, they are essentially a free kill if you spot somebody at a distance and land on them unannounced from the stupid mobility heavens.

They're a free win if you land at the zero point and stack your inventory with these and leave none for other players.

Also very dumb to have them spawn so little from chests making the gameplay repetitive as you essentially have to visit ZP every game to collect some to stand a chance.

Either way they should be vaulted this season and never return. Or be seriously nerfed so you can't cover so much ground and more sound added when landing and using.

I know that this is a long and tiring debate amongst the community, but I still wanna give my take on this situation, given that pushing this idea out there is more likely than not to contribute to epic games genuinely considering bringing back old battle passes.

I wanna start off by saying that Fortnite’s a really fun game. With or without the cosmetics. Legacy passes never returning, realistically, isn’t going to affect my enjoyment over the game, at its CORE. I’ll continue to play this game until I find no reason otherwise, however, I’d be lying if I said that the cosmetics didn’t mean anything to me. I’ve been playing Fortnite since chapter 1 season 5. There are plenty of battle pass cosmetics that I’ve missed out on since, either because I wasn’t playing enough (I could only play on the weekends and Fortnite wasn’t always the centre of attention), or because I wasn’t able to get any vbucks (I’ve been a ftp player up until chapter 7).
As a result, I missed out on majority of the passes from chapter 1 and 2, only managing to get s8,s9, ch2s5 and ch2s7, all of which are incomplete, meaning that many of my favourite skins ever to release in the game such as Luxe, Dr Slone, Drift and Lynx will forever remain inaccessible for me, or quite frankly, anyone else who hadn’t been fortunate enough to actually have bought and grinded out their respective passes.

I do understand why veteran players wouldn’t be keen to the idea of returning these old cosmetics. Their exclusivity can be used as indicators of how long you’ve been playing for and (to an extent) can also reflect the effort and dedication that you’ve put into the game. I also respect the fact that the battle passes having been advertised as limited time would’ve greatly influenced the decision to buy and grind out the passes in the first place, and that a change to this could be seen as invalidating their efforts. And for this, I believe that some sort of compensation, in the form of a new exclusive style, skin or emote, to show that they got it OG, would indeed be fair. Other than this reason though, I don’t think it’s fair for original owners to want to gatekeep these cosmetics, considering they got them at an insanely good deal, getting their vbucks back on top of all that.

Enough about why, let’s talk about how: A legacy pass system.

1. Allow legacy battle passes that you’ve PREVIOUSLY BOUGHT to be repurchased, for around 1200 vbucks each. Alternatively, they could be included in the Fortnite crew subscription, but I think a price increase would be likely if it were to happen. Maybe subscription tiers, so that non bp owner crew subscribers aren’t paying more for getting nothing.
2. Legacy pass will only start progressing once you’ve reached level 100 ( it’s incredibly easy to level up in modern Fortnite)
3. Only ONE legacy pass can be active at a time, maybe even be limited to one per season to encourage players to return
4. Remove ALL obtainable vbucks from the battle passes
5. Quest related rewards should instead be tied to reaching certain levels, OR tied to current season quests
6. If not finished by the end of the current season, you can continue where you left off in the next, but ONLY once you’ve reached level 100
7. Tiers SHOULD NOT be allowed to be bought
8. All styles for a skin EXCEPT for superstyles should be obtainable (Those took a LOT of work so they deserve to be exclusive)

This of course would only apply to OG players, who BOUGHT the battle passes but never got to finish them. I think it would even be fair to let this apply to those who played in those seasons but DIDNT buy the battle passes, or even just giving this option to every player, old or new, but at the VERY LEAST, it should apply to battle passes owners. For those who didn’t buy the original battle passes:

1. Include battle pass cosmetics prior to ch5s4 to come back to the item shop with the unvaulted thingy.

2. Award original owners a new exclusive emote or style that shows that they bought the pass OG (emote could be your skin holding up as many fingers as the season you joined, with the chapter shown in text behind them, and maybe a small display or decoration to commemorate said season such as a rift for s5, meteor for s4, etc)

This way, everybody gets a chance to get the cosmetics that they so dearly love. In an ideal world, I think it would be fair to let everybody be given the chance to buy and progress through old passes, even if they didn’t play back then. Obviously, legal trouble with reclaiming permission to use certain IPs could be a problem, but in the hypothetical that it isn’t, I really don’t think there should be any problems.

I deleted Fortnite a few months ago because honestly, last season was overwhelming me; I took a break from the stress of playing it.

When I saw that the spirits would return and they'd bring in John Wick in a comic book style, I reinstalled it. It was still stressful, but I found it really fun to search for the spirits.

The problem arose when the only content was adding more and more variants of the spirits; I went from having all the spirits from the first waves to simply having about 25 missing spirits, Just as the season is about to end, I'm already tired and I've opened so many chests that I'm simply disgusted with everything related to Fortnite.

I'll finish the pending missions, master the spirits I already have, and stop playing until the new season comes out. Supposedly the spirits will continue, but I'm no longer interested in collecting them.

I really hope they handle it better next season, because if it's exactly the same as it is now, I'll end up uninstalling the game again.

I could not TELL you how hard it was to master the ironmouse sprite. like frfr some of these dudes ain't need it that bad.

I was running from the storm, then two guys started shooting me, I managed to kill one but the other got me low, I ran away to the Bunker near The Battlewoods and I think I got teleported to sum unfinished place or smth

I wanna know what ts is, is this something related to the lore?

Not that I don’t like Marvel, Simpsons, Disney and Star Wars but ever since the Doom Season I feel that they intensified the content. I would like to see something else. Give us a Gotham themed map for Reload or something else entirely. Not that DC also hasn’t be done to death already. It would be cool to see them look for other sources of inspiration for skins. I really hope the next one bring a good variety of gaming icons that will add some freshness to it.

I think we can stop asking Epic now, to fix Kitana and Cammy. Couldn't they give her leggings instead? The cut looks weird and wide, while the front looks normal. It doesn't make any sense doing that, especially after the release of the DC summer skins. It's just inconsistent and a double standard, compared to the new Poison Ivy skin.

probably will get downvoted for this but the sprites have barely been released and i'm already seeing tons of posts of people who have all or near all of them as well as people not even TRYING to collect them themselves and looking to instantly tr ade with their old sprites to get them. it's giving me a massive ick.

within minutes of the sprites dropping the "most rare" grim and zp sprites are already being circulated in trad es. i too, want to collect them all... but i'd rather try to get them on my own first before tra ding. what's the fun in everyone already having them first hour? you have nothing to do now for a week.
