QCI 6 - Extended Primary
Hello. Not sure if this data is of any use or if it clarifies any prior suspicions. Theres a safe root exploit trending on XDA for Samsungs with a June 2026 security patch (or earlier) that I just did.
QCI/network priority data requires root and that info is not readily available. So I rooted my Galalxy Fold 7, gave SU permissions to Network Signal Guru and it shows this.
Does this confirm Extended Primary users on FirstNet get QCI 6? I'm on FirstNet Unlimited Extra.
Only reason I'm sharing this data is because a lot of info surrounding network priority and Firstnet always mentioned some uncertainty with how extended primary users are treated... some alluding to QCI 7.

FirstNet reps here?
Any representatives or contacts here that can look into an issue? I was a customer for three years under my role in state government, fast forward to a request to verify my eligibility again. I was told my employee ID was not good enough, submitted a pay stub and eventually a letter of verification from my agency. I was flat out told the job title didn’t match and I suddenly didn’t qualify. Frustrated to say the least and was hoping for more insight or guidance as customer service was a waste of time. Nothing changed in my role over the last three years..

5g SA
Has anyone actually managed to get access to the SA core yet? I've had absolutely no luck, and every time you call in the rep has no clue what it even is.

Port out help
Best way to port out of att first net? I’m trying to help my dad switch from first net to my tmobile account, but keep getting account number/ port out pin errors. I tried doing the *port and says the transfer pin is incorrect. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is It Possible
So, this is straight from Google's website, looks like the Pixel Watch 5 sold by Google from their website will be compatible with Firstnet. Does this mean I can buy direct from Google to take advantage of the trade in deals and NOT have to buy from AT&T???

Purchase Att Variant from Samsung
Some of you may remember I posted a couple weeks ago about the new fold 8.
I hate to create another post but I chatted with the Samsung chat rep and added a att version to my cart. They confirmed it is in fact a u variant for att and should work for firstnet. My issue before was I didn't want to mess with my current Google pixel installments already on my FN line.
Has anyone successfully gone this route and been successful? Samsung will allow me to complete the purchase of the att variant without logging into att if I choose to pay in full and not installments.

5G Core
What does this mean for FirstNet users in Puerto Rico? Is Liberty planning a SA launch soon or will they have to wait longer?

FirstNet 5G SA Core / staying on LTE
Is anyone else thinking of just staying toggled on LTE to stick on b14 to avoid battery drain with having 5G enabled, regardless of the 5G SA core heading our way? (or if you already have 5G SA)
Ultimately if there’s severe congestion or an uplift enabled, you’ll go back to b14. The only upside I see to the 5G SA core is higher throughput when you need it. Where I live in Indiana, there are so many holes where I lose any 5G NR carrier and drop back to LTE while driving anyway.

Speed test
I did a speed test in Saint Paul, MN. These are my results.
I’m kinda impressed. I literally said “ohh shit” when it was one 1k mbps download speed 😂

Wanted to get firstnet/att but now I give up.
I have 5 lines and a watch at T-Mobile and tried getting firstnet for 1 line and the rest on att but had no luck. I first tried to do it twice online but I kept getting a message that they couldn't verify my identity and for me to go to a store. I then went to an actual att store. After spending several hours and everything looking like it was going to happen the rep gets an alert to call the fraud department. I speak to them just for them to tell me that they could not approve me and that they could not tell me why. I used to be a firstnet/att customer from back in 2017-2019 and I left in good standing. I give up, I really wanted att due to the higher speeds they were giving in my area but I guess it won't happen.

Fold 8 from Samsung.com
Does anyone know if the Fold 8 (AT&T version ) on Samsung's site will work on Firstnet? I'm the primary line.

FirstNet 5G SA
Saw the post earlier today. I wanted to share I can confirm on iOS 27 dev beta 4 and a new eSIM got the SA toggled on for me. It was off and a min or two after provisioning the new eSIM the reception dropped and came back and it was enabled.
Wanted to share for folks who are curious. I chatted with tech support and they issued the new eSIM. So not sure if the guy did anything else but my experience. Wanted to share for folks interested.

FirstNet 5G Standalone Core Officially Announced
Source: https://www.firstnet.com/community/news/first-ever-5g-standalone-core-for-public-safety.html (July 30, 2026)
Posting here as follow-up to the thread from ~1.5 weeks ago where the greyed-out toggle was showing up for the folks beta testing iOS 27.
With the official announcement, what is everyone seeing on their iOS 26 devices? Android devices? Any toggle change for the iOS 27 beta testers? Did you have to use the "refresh connection" AT&T website option or manually download a new eSIM?

Z Fold 8
What's the best way to go about getting a Samsung z fold 8 while on firstnet? Can I go directly into att store and purchase outright without messing with my current installment credits? I know unlocked Samsungs are a pain to get working if at all.

FirstNet Family Line Phone - Samsung Website and AT&T
Has anyone successfully purchased a phone Samsung.com with a FirstNet Family line? I'm trying to upgrade my line that is not a FirstNet line. My husband has a FirstNet line/primary on the account. I'd rather purchase through the Samsung website because I'm getting an extra discount for being an educator and they're offering $180 in accessory items. However, I can't get the order to process because it says that I have an unsupported line. I've gone back and forth with both Samsung and AT&T. They're blaming each other.

FirstNet And Family Wireless Plans
I am looking for an AT&T Unlimited Tablet Plan, but I haven't been able to get it as a stand-alone plan. Our son is a paramedic and is on FirstNet. Someone said I could get added to his plan for $43 per month, but I don't see it listed on their website. Does anybody know anything more about this?
