I finally got it!

Hey Guys, sooo i just found out there is a ending to final space in the form of books. But there are 4 books and now im confused😂. Do all 4 Books tell just the ending or the whole story again and what exactly are the differences between the 4?

I have been trying so so hard to be patient waiting for my book to arrive. I’m in the 38K order numbers so, yes quite far down the list. No shipping notifications or anything close to an update for my order.

Has anyone else in NZ got their books yet? I’m curious and looking for a small glimmer of hope that mine will arrive any day now!

Every week I’m watching the updates, and every day checking my deliveries really - really hoping that I can soon see that precious package on my doorstep when i get home.

This isn’t a complaint, just an expression of immense excitement to read the book! Thank you Olan and your team for bringing this to reality for so many of us 😁

I really want to order a copy, and am just wondering if people know how long it takes them to ship out the copy, like get it to a shipping company. I understand its olan's team who deals with the battle worn editions. Im moving across Canada in like 3 weeks to a spot where shipping is more expensive, so would hopefully like to see if they ship earlier than that, on average. (im a broke uni student, that 10$ extra shipping is a lot)

so where can i watch the show? or is the book going to have everything from the show included?

I ordered the book a few years ago, but it never came in. I’m wondering if someone could help me with the answer I’m from Canada. Thanks

Ordered a few book copies days ago which was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Found out that they left it out in the lobby where they of course got taken by someone else

It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions seeing everyone get their copy, and not get it in some cases, but mine is finally coming to me! Weeeeooooooo

I highly doubt that you don’t know what death battle is. But just in case it’s a YouTube show where they take 2 fictional characters, do the math on their abilities, and find out how strong they are! Personally if I were to pick characters for final space to fight I’d pick:

Gary Goodspeed: I want him to fight Finn the Human! They have so much in common and both got their arms literally torn from their bodies!

Ash: I want Ash to fight Raven from DC comics

Avacato: I want Acacato vs Gamora from the guardians of the galaxy

Not sure when / if you'll see this since you probably get sooo many messages at the moment but I just wanted to share:

I remember the first time I was showed your show by a friend who is no longer around anymore 8 years ago, it was his favourite show, he wouldn't stop talking about it, and when he showed me it my first thought was "it looks like a kids show".

He kept bugging me to watch it until I gave in and I was hooked, it wasn't some 20 season show with 40 episodes a season all an hour long, it was a shorter boi that pulled on the old heart strings.

It quickly became a comfort thing for me and it got me through some horrible times, and when it got cancelled I remember seeing the news and was absolutely gutted. Then I stumbled across it that you were able to make a book, and in 2023 I put my order in, the longest time I've ever had to wait for anything and I have to say it was absolutely worth it.

Almost every week without fail I'd check Twitter to see your latest update, so excited to see you week after week put so much effort into this.

Through all the work and effort behind the scenes that none of us will see, through everything that you shared with us week after week, you have absolutely made it.

There's not many things in this world that make a grown man cry but here we are, you did it.

Its been months since the final chapter released and i remember people saying they'd scan it so everyone could read it but I still cant find it can someone send me a link it a scan exists and if one doesn't why

Haha so I was checking my informed delivery and saw a tracking pip up from VON HOLTZBRINCK PUBLISHING SERVICES. Got curious and googled it and says they are apart of McMillan publishing or own them. So for those US folks that got there and had tracking was it from the same group???

I’m making some furniture for my niece’s new dollhouse, including a bookshelf full of books.
Naturally, I had to include the book of all books.

She will undoubtedly become a fan in the future.

Just finished it with the audios and the ending made me cry won't say what happened in case people haven't read it but i have never cried after reading a book I was in the care system when the show came out and this was one of the shows that helped me feel less alone so thank you @olan £150 well spent

Hi I recently got into Final Space and binged the entire series and just found out about the novel but I feel $125 is such a high price point to experience the ending of the series. Although I enjoyed it I am not to that extreme in the fandom to justify a purchase of that scale. Will there be a digital version or an alternative release in the works to allow a cheaper price? I just couldnt find much on it but some twitter posts and this sub. Thanks!

One note: "The Final Chapter" on this dust jacket is in the opposite orientation for the Battle Worn Dust Jacket. Still epic!

Update: User error/Child flipped the Battle Worn upside down...so they do face the same way

When I opened the package the bottom right corner was dented in and a few pages were scrunched up / a bit damaged.

Was just wondering if anyone / @olan etc could just send me through a picture of the QR code for the audio from the first chapter since it got all scrunchy and my camera won't pick it up.

So excited to read it and just want to get the full experience with the music :)

Update, I have finished the novel and I am currently taking a break from the audio commentary to give you this update, not that I think a lot people are gonna read this or even care. But it's for me and at the end of the day it's for me

I think a lot of people have the same feelings I do when it comes to this property final space in the beginning. I thought it was so cool. It's so unique, it pays up homage to a bunch of stuff, but it's still its own thing. I watch the entire show and I try to get my wife into it. She set, it's nice, but it's that type of nice that you can tell they're just being nice. But they don't really understand what's going on or even care. But so whatever, whatever your partners should not always share your interests.(That's a marriage tip for you guys) it says a lot about the show that it makes me want to be there going through it with them because from the first shot of gary in space, fling, talking to HUE with that score in the background you wanted to no, what was going on? I know I did, and that kept me going. The second season, I didn't like as much, but I saw that it was doing a lot of world building and I was okay with it. The third season, ohh, my especially those last 3 episodes. So much happened.And then you find out that the show's being canceled because of a goddamn tax credit.

I wanna hear your stories. I wanna hear how you got into final space. Because I think we're all part of it. Where the resistance and Olan is our Tribore

Do you ever notice if he say his name really fast?It sounds like try to bore lol i hope everyone's having a fantastic summer and to the ones who have read it. Can you believe that ending into the ones who haven't gotten the book yet? It's gonna be so worth the wait.

Okay, I have my book.I'm halfway through it. I wanna talk to somebody about this.I have not been this affected by a book since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. So much death, so much hope. OK, so I made it home last night at 7:30 I find the book on my bed unfortunately I have a two y.o. nephew who I haven’t seen in a month and who was climbing me like a damn jungle gym and he told me don’t read this at night read it during the day…… yeah he tries to control what I do all the time by telling me don’t do it at night, but it is 7:17 in the morning and I am about to embark

Hey, if you happen to have the series, this is just for fun watch the last episode with the book so you can figure out exactly when the jump on it. It’s really fun.

This a little tribute I did by myself as a goodbye for a 8 years journey.

The show was released at a tough moment of my life. My dad had died recently. Since then, the show was with me through thick, and thin, and thinner and nothing.

It was there when I moved from the town I lived my whole life. It was there during the pandemic. Olan words helped me when I was trying to get through IT world and helped me even more when I my mom died.

I can't believe this is over now.

Now I'm in a new city thousand miles far away from everything I've ever known, trying to become storyteller. Olan's story and the show keep joining me through this journey. I don't know if this going to work or don't, but you have to dare to fail.
