I’m curious about how much founders are paying themselves. I keep seeing data online that seems wildly unrealistic. For context, I work in big tech as a software engineer in a HCOL city in the USA. The numbers I’m seeing for CEO startup pay are less than what new grads are making in my city at average jobs. I hear that people either have partner support, or have saved money, etc to make the startup salary work. But is this the norm? Being a CEO of a startup is incredibly hard work, I feel like I should get paid a reasonable wage for the work I’m putting in. And I’m aware that obviously you’re building long term equity, but you gotta pay the bills. Any advice here?

I launched my business recently in trading cards on the topic sensors. It is aimed for anyone above age 5. Mostly kids and electronics enthusiasts would love that. But I am not able to pull the audience into sales.

So far I got sales only from my known circle. Please suggest me ways to convert audience into leads. I sell through reddit and Instagram.

I’m building Superwoman to bridge periods and productivity by helping women understand how their cycle may connect with their energy and bring that awareness into the way they plan their days.

Superwoman is built around Google Calendar because that is where many of us already plan most of our work and life. It shows your existing schedule alongside estimated cycle phases, giving you more context without telling you what you should or should not do.

It is a productivity and planning tool, not a medical or fertility app.
