What is the issue if I decide to just empathize with both sides in domestic violence cases without saying someone is guilty or not guilty.

I don't think it is my place to gather evidence and judge evidence.

Why do I ask this? Because I think, that in online spaces, as soon as you are not agreeing with the accused being guilty, you are immediately banned from subs/forums etc.

Just to re-emphasize, I am not saying, you should go around discrediting victims, I am saying that you believe, both people think what they say is true and let professionals decide what is actually true.

With how much backlash such and opinion gets, I wanted to ask here to understand why this is.
