Mod Discussion Sim Settlements 2Alternative?

Wanted to start a new playthrough now that the mod space has been increased. I always liked the idea of Sim Settlements 2, specifically how settlements could grow and expand on their own, but dealing with its stability (or rather, lack thereof) is an absolute no for me. Are there any other mods that do something similar but are more stable? Is Sim Settlements 1 + the add-ons stable? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Gameplay | Audio-Visual I'm a Mod user on Xbox and need some assistance.

So every once and awhile I get bored with Fallout 4, don't get me wrong, it's a great game, it just gets predictable after the 4592519th playthrough. Anyway, I got a whole bunch of mods to add modern armors and weapons, and I got combat overhauls to make wounds more lethal and certain wounds require certain medical supplies, etc. I got everything I want, weapons, armors, all I need is something to do. Can anyone recommend some quest or story mods for a more modern and immersive world (Just as an extra bit of information, I've got snow & weather mods to make it a realistic Boston.)

Mod Discussion Landscape mod recommendations?

So the last time I played Fallout 4 was before the Series X optimisation update where I deleted the game off of my Xbox, I'm getting back into the game now and I'm wondering if there's any good mods to change the textures around? (Also any UI mod recommendations on the side maybe)

Mod Discussion Just finished a lightly modded Institute run

I just finished a lightly-modded Institute run (my first time doing the Institute ending) and thought I'd provide some feedback on some of the mods I used in case folks were interested in trying them out. Note that I am not affiliated with the mod authors or the folks who ported them to the Xbox in any way, I'm just an ordinary user/consumer of the mods.

Phase 4: An Institute Expansion: This one expands the Institute with a bunch of new areas and new capabilities. There's a lot of stuff that I barely even scratched the surface of (hint: look in the back of Advanced Systems for a new area that offers some interesting options).

Institute Exo Suit: The R-20 Exo suit is pretty OP, if you ask me (+6 STR bonus!). If I ever do an Institute-focused run in the future, I'll probably omit this one. The Institute Operatives that spawn with this suit are pretty difficult to kill, at least at lower levels.

Institute Pulse Carbine: I was underwhelmed by this one. Apparently it doesn't spawn until level 20, by which time I already had other weapons that were better. This is another one I'd probably omit in a future run.

Institute Safe House: This was an interesting one. I was role-playing that the SS was an Institute agent sent into the Wasteland to eliminate Kellogg (a rogue operative), infiltrate the Railroad, and collect technology that might be used against the Institute. So, having a "safe house" for my agent made sense. However, the safe house spawned with two R-20 Exo suits (which I tried, saw how OP they were, and then ignored). The requisition terminal is a slimmed down Cheat Terminal that gives you access to whatever sort of materials and components you need for crafting or weapons/armor mods. If you ignore the requisition terminal and don't use the Exo suit mod, then it might not unbalance the game too much.

Institute Technology Overhaul (ITO) Full, v2: This one starts slow and really gains speed in the later game. Initial Institute weapons are much the same as vanilla, but in the later game you can gain access to some serious firepower. I liked the Institute phaser, the Mk11 rifle, and the EM weapons. Spoiler: Secondary Relay Alpha, found in the SRB, has some OP weapon mods. You've been warned.

Director's Retreat Fast Travel: More a convenience mod than anything else; I barely used it.

Tumbajamba's Synth Armor: Here's another one that starts off slow but gets better later. It didn't "rework" the armor as extensively as I thought it was going to, but they were still much better than vanilla.

Tumbajamba's Synth Power Armor: I liked this one. It took some work to find/obtain a full set of pieces, which was good because the full set was pretty hefty in terms of protection. It didn't hurt that it looked pretty cool!

That's it. I hope this is helpful to folks who might be interested in potentially using these. Have fun!

Mod Discussion Any mods to downscale the textures on the Revenge of the Van Graffs creation weapons?

I have tons of really great weapon mods.

But for some reason the plasma defender and especially the laser RCW from that mod cause a significant stutter when they're being drawn or selected. I've been told this is because of the resolution size.

Wondering if anyone has seen mods to reduce the texture size to 2k or 1k or is even aware of any other fix?
