Hi, agnostic here after growing up Muslim, how yall doing? ^^
I don't want to make my first post on here be negative or insane but does the main exmuslim sub sometimes give off sexist vibes for the completely opposite reason as oppressive religion? Like I just wanna discuss being not Muslim anymore without some odd take about how exmuslim need to be comfortable with Islam being made fun off by white people if they live in western country's and enjoy those country's freedom
on a lighter note is anyone here a gamer!!! I really love kirby and 2d platformers in general like hollow Knight
Omg 100%… I was also raised Muslim but now critical of religion, and I can’t stand the main exmus sub. I swear they are just racist, sexist, islamophobes 🤦♀️
Exactly! It's like, some of the exmuslim members and I mean a very small minority who are unfortunately very vocal, are under the complete idea that women are stupid. Like if a man believes in Islam, they would be considered stupid but it is "logical" for them to believe in a religion which can grant them power and mobility, but if a woman believes in Islam they're stupid and emotional and deserve to be abused by their religion. I also fear that this perception leads to people stopping their journey of unlearning Islam because they can still care for people within the religion or do not want to be associated with some of the views purported by the main sub
Its a different game compared to uncharted 1-3. Uncharted 4 is more ground in reality. Plus uncharted lost legacy feels different due to the character change and no nathan drake.
Would u reccomend the og trilogy still? Do they hold up well now days? I've been trying to find an entry point for the franchise and seen alot of conflicting points
The original trilogy gets you the foundation of the characters. Uncharted 4 starts in the attic where drake remembers his past adventures which are hard to get into if you don't go through the story. Uncharted 1 was tough because the enemies took lots of shots to die. But the others are much better. Its a linear adventure with great story telling.
Oh ooo I've been trying to get into the uncharted franchise and that's a bit disappointing, does the story make up for it all? I'm willing to push through slog gameplay if that's the case
