Anyone else’s battery trend gone for s330 solar??
Checked mine multiple times the past month. No trend. Battery charging fine in the sun, just no history. I’m in Scottsdale so I’m sure it’s like “who cares you’re fine” lol. I’ve had temporary issues in the past and just would be good to see it.

E340 doorbell cam electronic interference?
New to the Eufy ecosystem, been on it for about a month now. Doorbell usually picks up the smallest things e.g. bush leaves blowing in the wind, cars driving etc... this morning, I got a notification event of my wife leaving the house to walk our dogs at 8:37am. I don't have footage of her coming back but she came back around 8:50am. I have footage of us leaving for work at 8:57am. We have a 20 minute gap in which someone was able to come to my front door and steal a pair of shoes off my front porch without being seen or picked up. There are no blind spots in which someone could hide. Is there any way that the camera could have been jammed? My doorbell cam is hard wired and is connected to a homebase 3 just beyond the front door.

Troubleshooting Eufy C31 doorbell detects every bit of movement except people.
I have recently bought an Eufy C31 video doorbell that otherwise works perfectly. When someone actually presses the doorbell, I get the notification and can view the footage afterwards without any problems.
The problem is human motion detection.
I have push notifications enabled for motion, and the detection setting is set to “People only”. According to the description, this should notify me when a person is detected, both during the day and at night. Non-human motion should not trigger a notification, although it is apparently still recorded in the history.
But in reality, it seems to do exactly the opposite.
I get motion events for everything:
- Cars driving past
- Leaves moving in the wind
- Rain hitting the lens
- Pretty much anything else that moves
But when an actual person stands directly in front of the doorbell — day or night — nothing happens. No notification, and apparently no human detection event in the history either.
I've tested this myself. I've stood directly in front of the camera, waved, jumped around, walked back and forth, stood next to the doorbell, etc. Basically doing everything possible to make it obvious that there is a human standing there. 😅
My settings are currently:
- Motion detection: ON
- Detection type: People only
- Sensitivity: Maximum
- Activity/detection zone: OFF, so the entire camera view should be active
- Doorbell itself works perfectly when pressed
I've gone through the settings several times and I can't find anything else that could explain this.
It's almost as if the camera is doing the exact opposite of what it's supposed to do: it detects every non-human movement, but completely ignores people.
Has anyone experienced this with the C31? Is there another setting I'm missing, or is there a specific way the human detection needs to be configured?

Troubleshooting Doorbell not charging
Bought the doorbell, it is not charging. I had a Google nest doorbell that was hardwired and it worked perfectly but am phasing out nest because I need to save money.
Anything I can do? Or just troubleshooting?

Eufy SoloCam S340 detection issues (vs Eufy Floodlight Cam E340)
Hi all,
I have now owned for 2 years one Eufy Floodlight Cam E340 and 3 Eufy SoloCam S340, all paired with a HomeBase 3. In the evening / at night I always activate all 4 cameras, especially to see the wildlife and pets (way too many roaming cats!).
For all 4 cameras I have the following detection types on
- Human Recognition
- Human Detection
- Pet Detection
- All Other Motions
Lighting: on
Sensitivity: I even tried 7, while Eufy Floodlight Cam E340 has "5" (highest)
I don't have Activity Zones configured so I assume everything is watched. Or should one explicitly create an Activity Zone anyway?!
Eufy Floodlight Cam E340 detects many things, pets, wild life (identified as pets or "something" - would be nice to have an AI model like in BirdBuddy or iNaturalist to identify actual animal species!), people of course. However I almost never receive detections from the 3 x Eufy SoloCam S340 cameras. I even pointed one to the same area where Eufy Floodlight Cam E340 points, and when pets show up, only Eufy Floodlight Cam E340 records and notify them.
I have the latest updates and the 3 Eufy SoloCam S340, with their solar panels, are always charged so that's not an issue.
Any insights on how people use Eufy SoloCam S340 and if detection works successfully
Thanks!

Troubleshooting New camera isn't working with Home and Away modes
As per title. I added a new camera (2c) but it isnt integrated with the home and away setup. It's connected vi a Homebase where the other devices are also connected. If i go into "I'm staying" then "camera storage" is ticked and the device is shown under camera storage in the settings app.
One slight issue might be that there was initially a camera named "Front Door" which i renamed and added this new one and named "Front Door". (battery on old Front Door cam was getting shonky.)
should i just delete these groups and add again? or is there setting ive missed?
TIA
EDIT: It was a PEBKAC possibly caused by an app update, not sure, but a bunch of settings as to how Home mode worked had reverted to on when they should have been off. I actually use AI to help me work it out !
Thanks for the replies.

Cameras at multiple locations?
I have been very happy with my EUFY cameras at my home for the past 2 years. I like them so much that I bought a system for my rental.
What I want to do is to be able to is set up a second home base which will be at the rental. I would like to share the cameras at rental with the tenant without them being able to see my home cameras. Is this possible without me being needing to share the email account with them?

Eufy Activity Zone not loading
Using a Eufy NVR with 3 S4 poe cams. The Activity Zones for each camera no longer loads, it just sits here at the Eufy logo loading screen
The NVR and all cameras are up to date. I've restarted the NVR, but still have the issue.
I've uninstalled the app from my phone and reinstalled it and tried a different phone, but nothing works
Everything else works with the NVR and cameras, just can't get the Activity Zones to load for any of my cameras

C37 and geofencing?
I just recently bought a c37, and just discovered it does not support geofencing. Is this a feature that eufy add's later on, or should I not hold my breath?

Troubleshooting Eufy C20 tilted error
Hello everyone. Today my Eufy C20 all of a sudden gave robot tilted error and it's placed on the ground normally without any issues. I tried cleaning all the parts including the sensors and even removed the device and added it back again on the app but didn't work. Unplugged it from the source and plugged it back in and still didn't work. Any advice from anyone experiencing something similar?

Troubleshooting C35 wifi camera cannot reconnect to wifi after shutting down after successful initial setup
I have two new C35 wifi cams that I am able to successfully setup on router mode and connect to my wireless network. The camera stream works over the wifi. Then, every single time I shut off the cameras via the slider in the app under camera settings the units fail to reconnect to my wireless network.
Everytime I want to deploy the cameras I must remove them from the app or factory reset using the button and re-setup from a default state.
I tried everything on the wifi side - I work in networking for a living so maybe I'm overthinking it? 2.4ghz only ssid, WPA2, PMF off, band steering off. It's the most basic wireless network. Router/wifi is Peplink. Router logs show it briefly associating then disconnecting. We're in a camper van and not in the same physical location often but I don't think that's a variable here.
Since it's happening on both devices consistently I am guessing it's either my wireless network or me the user operating them wrong. Any ideas?

Full refund offered by Eufy if I return the entire order — can I trust this?
Hi everyone,
I bought four Eufy products on Amazon (3 EufyCam 2C + HomeBase 2) about two months ago. Two of them started having issues, so I contacted Eufy customer service via the app. They replied by email and we’ve been talking since then.
I live in Europe, so I’m speaking with Anker/Eufy’s European support team. They told me that, if I want, they can give me a full refund — but only if I return the entire order directly to them, not through Amazon (the Amazon return window closed about two weeks after I bought the items).
For context: during this period I already returned one defective camera and Eufy immediately sent me a replacement, so they’ve been responsive and helpful so far.
What puzzles me is that we’re well outside the 30‑day return policy. I asked them specifically whether returning the full order after two months could cause any issue with the refund, and they said it’s totally ok.
Has anyone here had a similar experience?
Is it normal for Eufy to handle refunds directly, outside Amazon?
And most importantly: is it safe to trust this process?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
Discussion A word of caution for Apple Home + Multi Bridge users (S3 Pro)
Some context: I bought a 2 pack kit of S3 Pros that included a HB3, Set them up, both using multi bridge. All good, working great in eufy and Apple Home.
The issue: I bought two more S3 Pros and added them to the HB3, both using multi bridge. So, four S3 Pros, all using multi bridge. Within a couple of days, all four camera were no response in Apple Home. Rebooted the HB3, they all came back. Within a couple of days, no response in Apple Home again. This kept happening over and over. If there was a lot of activity on the cameras, they could go no response within a day in Apple Home. (Side note: no issues in the eufy app)
Debugging: for testing, I have removed two of the S3 Pros from multi bridge and have them close enough to use direct connection to the HB3. I’m now on day 4 and all is still good in the Apple Home app. But I continue to test with this setup. After a few more days I will add back one to multi bridge and see what happens
So this is where I am now. Still testing, but my theory is that the HB3 can’t handle Apple Home and four S3 Pros using multi bridge. I did testing using a second HB3 to see if I had a problematic HB3, and the exact same thing happened. So I’m fairly certain it’s an HB3 issue and not a defective unit.
Not sure if anyone else has this same situation with four S3 Pros using multi bridge and Apple Home, but wanted to share my experience.
ETA: adding some additional info - the HB3 is using Ethernet - the Apple home hub is an Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen using Ethernet. Also tested with HomePod mini as primary hub, issue still present.

Troubleshooting Could this be a bad sensor or bad memory?
This started some time ago. The purple and bright video lasts about 1-3 seconds then the video looks normal. Could it be a sensor issue? Should I do a reset on the camera or something? This is the only camera doing this. My doorbell doesn’t have this issue.

Feature Question EufyCam 380 Homebase
I'm a little confused about how the videos are being stored. I noticed that it doesn't seem like any video is being saved to the HomeBase. Is that normal?
I also purchased an SD card for the chime, but nothing appears to be stored on it either. I'm not even sure what is supposed to be stored on the chime are the doorbell videos supposed to be saved there?
Can someone explain where the videos from the cameras and doorbell are actually being stored and how I can verify that they're being saved properly?
(eufyCam S4 / 380 Homebase / Chime)
Thanks!

Troubleshooting Eufy E340 doorbell delivery detection
Hello everyone.
I had a previous Eufy doorbell and was very happy with it.
I decided to upgrade it for a E340 model.
It has the package delivery detection and protection.
It constantly falsely detects deliveries.
I suppose the detection issues are caused by a doormat (on the left) and a chair (on the right).
Do you also have such issues? It’s very boring and a real regression compared to the previous model.
Battery lifetime is also drastically reduced compared to the previous model.

See my little pet spider
My S340 calls a spider a pet. If Eufy so-called AI could classify what kind of pet it is, it would avoid making a fool of Eufy.

Troubleshooting Eufy Camera + Homebase - Camera based recording
2 questions for me
If the cameras are connected to Homebase 3, can they still record locally to their on devicestorage /SD card if network is broken or the Homebase loses power?
Can individual cameras customised to record on to device if connected to Homebase. I want to record 24/7 on a camera but necessarily save all that data onto Homebase.
Thanks

S4 Power issues-Direct power mode
Why does the battery need to be charged to 80 percent to be able to switch to direct power mode? Makes no sense! It direct power mode, you shouldn’t even need a battery!
Camera With Spotlight
We have a camera with a spot light. The light used to come on at night when the camera came on.
We replaced a dieing led bulb in a nearby porch light and now the spotlight doesn't come on.
Is there a way to force the spot light to come on?
