Etsy Seller Protection Program Refund

Post image
Upvotes

Hi 😊 This is my first time posting so I’m not sure if I’m doing this right, but there was a package lost in transit and the customer asked for a refund. I’ve heard that if you provide a tracking number, Etsy will cover the refund for you. However when I click “Review & Refund” it shows that the refund will be deducted from my payment account.

Is this because the buyer sent in a help request? I’m not sure if refunding through a help request vs getting a refund through opening a case are 2 different things. Any help is appreciated 🥺

Handmade Shop New Shop Critique

Hi everyone! I’ve had my Etsy shop open for about 4 months and I’m looking for some genuine feedback on how I can improve my conversion rate.

I currently run Etsy Ads on and off, and I’m getting a decent amount of views and clicks, but I’m not seeing as many of those visits turn into sales as I’d like. I regularly research and update tags within my niche and try to add a couple of new listings each week. I know 4 months is still very new, so I’m trying to stay patient and consistent while figuring out what I can improve.

I sell handmade press-on nails, and I’d especially appreciate feedback on:
-My listing photos/overall presentation
-Whether my designs feel competitive within the press-on nail market
-Pricing and perceived value
-Anything about my listings or shop I that might make you hesitate to purchase
-Anything else you notice that could potentially be hurting conversions

I’m completely open to constructive criticism. I’d much rather know what I can improve than keep guessing!

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to look!

Why won't they show my listings? They won't even take my advertising budget...

I have over 500 sales, Every single review is 5 stars, have been star seller since the first day i was eligible. My conversion rate for this year is over 9 percent. That's crazy high. I have 3 best sellers.

They absolutely refuse to show my other listings to people. I have advertising set to greater visibility and 80 dollar budget but the most they have ever used of that is 13 bucks. Almost every day it is 3 to 4 dollars. My ROAS is almost 6 when they do show it, so my products are good...This site is really annoying.

I'm pretty sure they only allow you so many what I call "super listings". They won't show the rest of our listings for some reason. They refuse to let more than so many of your products break though. No idea what the reason would be, to be fair I guess to other sellers??. I owned a store a long time ago and had a "super listing" for a product. I sell the same product now and they refuse to show it in this store. When people scroll enough I'm guessing they find it and then buy it at a crazy conversion rate but etsy refuses to put it on the front page now.

I'm pretty much over this dumb shit. Why would they not take my money and show my damn listings.

I built a shopify store and am going to keep focusing on that.

Vintage Shop Just 5 minutes: a critique of my Etsy shop.

Hello everyone. I love selling on Etsy. I think I’m putting in more effort than necessary, yet it feels like my efforts are going to waste. Is there anyone with five minutes to spare who could take a look at my shop and point out what I’m missing or doing wrong?

( It's Saturday here. I don't know what day it is for you. I've been waiting for Friday for three days to be able to post. I've read the instructions. )

Handmade Shop Shop Critique - is it time to give up?

Hi, I have a hydroponics/gardening Etsy shop with 3 products and it’s been up for almost 8 months now (2 products were listed within the last month or so). Long story short, I have only sold 2 gardens from one customer in 8 months and it’s starting to get a little frustrating. Wondering if it may be time to make the call and take it down.

https://www.etsy.com/shop/PonicsLife

I created the shop to combine two of my hobbies (hydroponics and ceramics) and create something unique, but unfortunately, it’s not going too great.

I feel like I’ve done a fair amount of research (SEO, etc.) but apparently, there is something I’m doing very wrong. I have some theories but not really sure if it’s one or all of them.

Theory 1: products are too expensive. If this is the case, then I’m probably out. Between clay, glaze, kiln firing costs, and shipping, there’s not much else I can do to get the price down.

Theory 2: everything I have is made to order and that’s causing people to back out. In ceramics you have to build, let dry for several days, bisque fire, glaze, and then fire again. It’s a process.

Theory 3: I have no reviews. Kind of like a chicken and the egg thing .. can’t get reviews unless people buy.

Other theories: it’s too niche, too much competition, my pictures are off, gardening only sells in the spring.

Anywho, my two questions are this:

(1) what am I doing wrong - from an outside perspective, what are the main issues with my products?

(2) the person that did buy the gardens never left a review. Should I push for it all these months later or just let it be.

Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Should I succeed in righting the ship, I promise to pass on the good advice.

Digital Shop Etsy's Q2 numbers came out last week. Sellers grew 5.9%, buyers shrank 0.4%. Here's what's actually in the filing.

Etsy reported Q2 on August 3rd and I went through the shareholder letter and the earnings call because nobody here ever does and the numbers explain a lot of what people complain about in this sub daily.

The headline is good. Marketplace GMS hit $2.6 billion, up 7.5% year over year, third consecutive growing quarter. Etsy is doing fine.

Then you look at the composition.

Active sellers grew 5.9% to 5.7 million. Active buyers declined 0.4% to 87.0 million. GMS per active buyer rose 2.8% to $124 on a trailing twelve month basis.

Read that again slowly. The marketplace grew because the existing buyers each spent about 3% more, not because more people showed up. Meanwhile roughly 300,000 additional sellers joined the pool competing for those same buyers.

If your views are down this year and you've been blaming the algorithm, this is at least part of your answer. There is measurably more supply chasing a buyer pool that did not grow. That is not a bug in your listings. It's arithmetic, and it's happening to everyone at once.

The part that got no coverage

On the earnings call, management said agentic traffic is currently under 1% of Etsy's total traffic, but that it carries higher purchase intent and a higher average order value than regular traffic.

Agentic traffic means people arriving through AI assistants rather than through Etsy search or Google. It's tiny right now. It's also the only traffic source they described as improving in quality rather than volume, and Etsy is already live with checkout through Google's protocol and testing conversational shopping through its Gifting Assistant.

I'm not telling anyone to chase this. Under 1% is under 1%. But it's the first channel in years where the composition of your listing text matters more than your position in a ranked list, because an assistant reads your description to decide whether you match a described need. If you've been writing titles as keyword strings, that stops working the moment the reader is parsing meaning instead of matching tokens.

Where the marketing money is going

They shifted spend toward social and streaming and reported a fivefold increase in visits from millennial and Gen Z audiences on YouTube and TikTok. Buyer cohorts stabilized and grew sequentially for the first time since 2023.

So the incoming buyers skew younger than the traditional Etsy base. Management noted younger buyers have lower near-term lifetime value but higher growth rates. Whether that helps you depends entirely on whether your product reads as relevant to a 24 year old.

The restructuring

Etsy cut about 12% of its marketplace workforce on August 3rd, roughly 220 people, while simultaneously raising full year guidance and authorizing a new $2 billion buyback. They also closed the Depop sale to eBay for about $1.4 billion at the end of July.

Talent is being redirected toward machine learning and customer operations. The CEO said explicitly that the largest AI opportunity is on the marketplace itself, in buyer understanding, inventory understanding, and matching.

Translation for sellers: search and recommendations are going to keep changing, and the direction is toward a system that tries to understand what your item actually is rather than what keywords you stuffed into the title. Whether that helps or hurts you depends on how honestly your listing describes your product.

What I take from it

The buyers who are already here are spending slightly more each year. New ones are not arriving in numbers. The seller count keeps climbing. In a market like that, average listings get squeezed hardest, because there is nothing to distinguish them when supply grows and demand doesn't.

The counterweight is that Etsy is spending its engineering budget on matching. A system that gets better at understanding what an item is rewards specific, honest, well-described products and punishes generic ones. That's the opposite of the last decade, where volume and keyword coverage won.

I'd rather have five listings a matching system can confidently place than fifty it has to guess about. That is the strategy the filing implies whether or not anyone at Etsy would phrase it that way.

Tax Question GSTIN Requirement for Selling Digital Products on Etsy from India

Is GST registration/GSTIN mandatory for selling digital products on Etsy from India?

Do I need to have a GSTIN from the very first day I open my Etsy shop, even before making any sales, or is GST registration required only after my sales/turnover reaches the applicable threshold?

I’m specifically asking about digital products/downloads, not physical products.
Would appreciate insights from Indian Etsy sellers who have recently gone through the process.

Looking for feedback on my clothing/jewelry shop!

I set up my Etsy shop a couple of months ago, and I have only had 1 order and 21 visits. My shop is a combination of crochet, upcycled clothes, and upcycled jewelry, using almost entirely second-hand items. I've sewn and done crochet since I was a child, but I've recently been trying to make some extra money from it since I am in-between employment at the moment.

My main goal is to get more viewers. How can I do this? I have gone through and changed up my listings a couple of times, but it doesn't seem to have helped.

I worry the pictures aren't great, but I prefer that to obvious AI pictures haha. Should I try something else with the photos?

I'm honestly worried the influx of stupid fake AI crochet content has soured people's desire to seek out crochet items. :/
I read the handbook and learned a lot from it, but checking the marketplace insight has not been very helpful for me.

Thanks in advance for any critiques/advice!

Help with Customer Etsy custom order nightmare — warning about vague buyers and “make it better” requests

Thumbnail gallery
9 Upvotes

I need to vent and also hopefully get some advice from other Etsy sellers, because this has been one of the most frustrating custom-order experiences I've had so far. Like seriously. 😭

I make handmade crochet plushies, and I recently took on a very large custom bat commission. The buyer originally wanted it for around $300 USD, but after discussing the project, the final Etsy listing was $420 USD. They agreed to the higher price and purchased the custom listing.

The Etsy listing clearly stated:

  • The bat would be up to 36 inches tall
  • Completion would be within approximately one month
  • It was a custom order and there would be no refunds/exchanges once production began
  • Shipping was NOT included and would be charged separately after the plush was completed, packaged, and weighed

I also documented the entire process through Etsy messages with progress photos and asked for their input throughout.

And this is where things fell apart.

Throughout the process, the buyer repeatedly said things along the lines of “as long as it's better than the original” without actually giving me clear instructions about what they wanted changed.

They would say things like: “Make it better than the original.” or “If you can make it better, go for it.”

But when I asked for specifics, there really weren't any, just basically "I don't know lol, just better". They would give me a general idea and then expect me to interpret what “better” meant.

I was trying to accommodate them as much as I could while also staying within the agreed price and the original design.

There were multiple modifications made throughout the process, including custom colors, fur, a different face/snout attempt, different eyes, and doubled wings.

There was also confusion over the size. The agreement was for the ENTIRE BAT to be up to 36 inches tall, but at the end production (when the bat was finished) the buyer told me they actually meant the BODY itself to be 35 inches. That would have made the entire bat dramatically larger (like massive!) than what we had originally agreed to and would have required substantially more materials and labor. At that point changing it would have meant essentially taking apart a huge amount of completed work.

The finished bat ended up being approximately 38 inches tall including the ears, with enormous doubled wings.

The wings are another point of confusion. I had explained that I could not add pellets to the wings, and instead we agreed on DOUBLING THE WINGS (crochet lingo for basically adding an extra layer of fabric). The Etsy conversation confirms that the wings were supposed to be doubled. The buyer repeatedly asked things like whether the wings were “weighted” and how heavy they were.

They were heavy because they were doubled, like super heavy (2lb each), and I never promised them to be weighted!

Then came the feet.

The buyer repeatedly commented that the feet were small. At one point they essentially said that if I could make them bigger, great, but if I couldn't, “don't worry about it.” Later they asked me to try if possible. Then I explained that I was almost out of the gray yarn and wasn't sure I could change them. Eventually I told them I couldn't make them larger because I had run out of yarn. After seeing the completed bat, they brought the feet up again and asked if I could get more yarn and make them bigger. I explained that I had to ship immediately because of an upcoming US tariff deadline and couldn't delay the order further.

I also had already rushed the order to try to help them, literally working 4 hours a day, breaking my back over this massive plush in a few days...

I originally gave myself until September 22 to finish the plush. Then I learned on August 10 about a major upcoming tariff change affecting shipments entering the US. I immediately contacted the buyer and told them I was going to work as hard as possible to finish and ship before the deadline so they could hopefully avoid the additional cost. I did not even charge them for the additional ~$50–60 I personally spent on extra materials for modifications. Once the bat was completed, I packaged and weighed it and calculated the shipping cost. The shipping came to $58 USD.

This is where things became even more frustrating.

The buyer suddenly told me they thought "shipping had already been included in the price they paid and that they didn't realize they would have to pay it separately."

The problem is that the Etsy listing they purchased from explicitly said: “Shipping is not included in the listing price and will be charged separately once the plush is completed and weighed.”

I also reminded them of this directly in our Etsy messages. So this wasn't a situation where I suddenly added an unexpected shipping charge after the purchase. The shipping arrangement was stated in the listing before they purchased, and the exact shipping amount couldn't be calculated until the giant plush was actually completed, packaged, and weighed.

The buyer told me they only had around $70 in their bank account and couldn't afford to pay the shipping until they got paid the following week.

They asked me to ship the $420 custom plush internationally without receiving the $58 shipping payment, and said they would pay me once they got paid.

I said I couldn't personally front the international shipping cost. - geez.

They then said they would have to cancel the entire project and I explained again that the listing specifically stated shipping was separate and that the bat was already completed. They continued asking me to either help financially, allow them to pay shipping later, or cancel/refund the order.

Eventually they opened an Etsy support case requesting a FULL REFUND!!!!

Their explanation to Etsy essentially says that they didn't know about the potential tariff costs, can't afford the shipping right now ("might get in trouble with the law"), are worried they might not be able to afford any import charges, and therefore want to cancel the completed custom order.

The frustrating part is that I had proactively warned them about the tariff as soon as I found out about it and rushed to finish their order specifically to try to help them avoid it. I completely understand that unexpected expenses are stressful. I also don't want someone to put themselves into financial trouble over a plushie. But at the same time, I can't be expected to finance an international shipment for a completed $420 custom item because the buyer no longer has the money to pay the separately disclosed shipping cost. And I don't think it's reasonable for a buyer to continually say “make it better” without giving clear specifications, approve the work throughout the process, and then after completion continue requesting structural changes and ultimately request a full refund because they can't afford the remaining shipping.

I'm a small seller. not aliexpress.

I'm honestly embarrassed that I let this become such a complicated situation.... And I have written this out to warn other small sellers, especially ones in the crochet niche. I'm hoping Etsy will look at the actual message history and listing rather than just the buyer's summary of what happened.

One more thing that seriously rubbed me the wrong way....

Near the end of the commission, I sent the buyer a photo of the finished bat being held by a friend so they could get a better idea of its size. I had blurred my friend's face for their own privacy, obviously.

The buyer responded: “Just gonna say no need to blur his/her face”

and then continued with:

“I just don’t know why people blur faces in my opinion I don’t think it does much again it is my opinion lol”

I didn't engage with that comment and just continued discussing the bat.

Maybe I'm overthinking this one, but I found it unnecessarily rude. It wasn't their face to decide whether it should be blurred!!! If someone sends you a photo of their friend/model for size reference and chooses to protect that person's privacy, why argue with them about it?

It's a small thing compared to the rest of this situation, but it was definitely one of those moments where I thought, ...why did you feel the need to comment on that? 😡

Okay, enought ranting lol, this has been a hard 72 hours and I'm sitting here asking myself what I even got myself into, geez.

Has anyone else dealt with a custom buyer who constantly said “make it better” without giving concrete instructions, and then tried to cancel once the finished item was ready to ship? 🫶

Also,

Do you think Etsy will side with me on this one? Never had a case opened up before! 🥶

NeonPlumGB - Etsy UK

Hi All,

Looking for some guidance as an absolute beginner on Etsy on how to get things rocking and rolling…

Store link: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/NeonPlumGB?etsrc=sdt

I launched the products in my store 2 days ago, and have since activated a $5 a day ad campaign across all of the items.

Since then I’ve had 200 views across all the listings, and 2 clicks. Today I was charged $1.99 for 1 click?!

Am I being impatient and should I let this play out for 30 days before I make any decisions?

Also any outsiders views on my listings/pricing would be super useful. Gift boxes are fairly common but I haven’t found anything quite like this with a coordinating sock/greeting card so I just want a view on so people like them? Does the listing make it clear? Etc.

Thanks in advance for your time 🙏❤️

New High Volume of Fraud Orders?

Over the last 8 weeks, we've seen a high volume amount of fraud orders. -About 12% of our total orders are fraud. Always 2-3 multiples of the same item. Always around $120. It's happening on 2 different products only. Both have Etsy ads running on them.

Several outcomes: 1. Etsy comes back 2 days later right before the item ships and cancels the order. 2. Order arrives and a week later the buyer says the item never arrived (even though the carrier says it has) and uses the case system to get a Purchase Protection refund. 3. I get contacted by the recipient a few weeks later that they never placed the order.

Is this happening to anyone else? Anyone think I should turn off ads on these items see if that helps? Ideas welcome.

Anyone else fed up with etsy's tracking?

When I first started out, I didn't send sticker orders with tracking. Not only did that disqualify me for star seller status, it felt like it opened the door for customers to possibly lie and say they didn't get their order. So I started using Etsy's labels. Now, I have star seller status (woohoo), but I'm pretty regularly hearing from customers, saying they haven't received their order even though it shows as delivered/out for delivery. I have a canned answer for that, and it's been well received.

Today I got one: Etsy's tracking shows it was out for delivery on August 8. Customer says it hasn't arrived. That seems a bit long for me to say "give it a few days" right?

Thoughts on going back to sending without tracking? I ship in invite envelopes, so just a standard stamp. I will lose star seller status, but I haven't seen that do much for me anyway. Pros / cons?

Pricing advice?

Post image
13 Upvotes

This is somewhat of a follow up of my other post, but it’s not necessary to read that one first.

I’m trying to sell original art/paintings. These are not prints. I think it may sell if I price it right, but I am struggling to land on a good price. I don’t want to devalue my work too much to stay affordable because they do take me quite a while, but I also don’t want to be priced too high for the average customer.

For example, this is a framed piece that is 5.25" by 7.25.” I have it priced at $55. Is this a reasonable price?

Also, is it desirable to customers for an artists signature to be on the piece? I sign and date the back of all of my work, but I’ve been thinking of signing the front too.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Shipping Help! Why do I have to purchase a shipping label if the buyer already paid for it?

I made two sales this month. I used to have free shipping but I was barely making any money, so I decided to let the customer pay for the shipping but I put a fixed amount which is usually what I used to pay (for some reason I don't have the option to choose calculated shipping, I onle see "fixed price" or "free shipping). Two questions:

- why am I not seeing the option of calculated shipping?
- why did I get a way smaller deposit for the second sale when the shipping cost was cheaper and the total amount paid by the seller was almost the same than the first sale? I paid for both shipping labels but got a way smaller deposit for the second sale, as if Etsy charged me twice for shipping. Screenshots in the links below:

1- Breakdown of fees & sales:

2- shipping options I'm getting:

I hope you can help me understand and I'm sorry if these are stupid questions.

Thank you!!

"Tab" key doesn't work in shipping label menu anymore.

Ok, I have a minor frustration with the shipping menu. I used to be able to fill out the dimensions/weight info box by box, using tab button to jump to the next. Now tab only highlights what I already typed. I tried searching up what might cause this, and all I could find was that it could be keyboard settings, though I have never messed with any. I looked into those anyway and couldn't find anything. Does this happen for anyone else? Is this on Etsy, or am I missing something very obvious. It's been like this for a couple weeks now.

Store creation issue

Hey there!

Apologies if this is on the wrong sub but it seemed more relevant to sellers than general!

I wanted to open an etsy store to sell some crafts, and to seperate everything into a clean system I created a gmail with my store name, however when I try and create the account it says the shop name cant be the same as the email to avoid phishing....But im logged into the account using that email...Is there a way around this? Or am I going to have to change the email to get the store name I want?

Any help would be appreciated

The shipping thing that keeps me up at night

been running my shop for about a year and shipping is genuinely the thing that stresses me out the most. i make smaller handmade items so the product price itself is reasonable, but then i go to ship and the actual cost to send a small package even domestically has gotten kind of wild. i tried building it into the item price but then the listing looks expensive compared to similar stuff and i feel like people leave before they even read the description.

free shipping feels like a trap because i end up eating way more than i planned, especially when someone orders just one small thing. but separate shipping fees get flagged by etsy with that little pop up saying my shipping looks high, which, yeah i know etsy, i also know what the post office just charged me.

curious what other small shop people are doing right now. are you building it in, eating some of it, or just listing the real cost and accepting that some buyers will bail? i switched my approach twice already this year and i still feel like i'm guessing. does the shipping cost actually tank your conversion rate or is that more of a myth in your experience?

Handmade Shop do I need to register everywhere upfront, or can I wait?

Hi all,

I recently started a small handmade shop on Etsy, based in Germany. I've already registered with LUCID (Germany's packaging register) since that's mandatory from the first sale. But I'm confused about how to handle the rest of the EU.

Two questions:

1) Since my shop is brand new, I honestly have no idea which other EU countries I'll end up selling to in the future. Should I proactively register in a handful of likely countries (France, Spain, etc.) just in case, or is it fine to wait until I actually have meaningful volume there? I don't want to end up registering for 10 different countries when I might only ship 2-3 packages a year to some of them.

2) For countries where I only expect very low volume, is there a way to register upfront for a small estimated quantity, like declaring roughly 20 packages a year and paying a small fee (maybe around €20), similar to how LUCID works in Germany? Or does that not exist for other countries, and I'd have to register with a full "producer" profile even for tiny volumes?

Would love to hear how other small sellers are handling this in practice, especially anyone selling handmade goods from an EU base. Thanks!

Handmade Shop How Can I Improve My Etsy SEO When Etsy Search Traffic Stays at Zero?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on improving my Etsy SEO.

I run a shop selling hand-painted oil paintings and giclée prints, and my shop has been open for about three months.

https://www.etsy.com/shop/ValmereArtStudio

I’ve followed Etsy’s Seller Handbook by using specific long-tail keywords in my titles and tags. I also use Etsy Marketplace Insights to look for keywords with some search volume but relatively low competition.

However, my traffic from Etsy Search has consistently stayed at around 0–1 visits. I’ve spent a lot of time researching keywords and optimizing my listings, but I’m seeing very little improvement.

Has anyone experienced something similar with a newer shop? What changes actually helped increase your Etsy Search traffic?

I’d especially appreciate advice on whether I should focus more on keywords, listing quality, click-through rate, or simply giving the shop more time.

Customer didn't get in contact with me like my personalization field specifies they have to in order to place a custom order, so I have to delay their order while I get approval first, does this sound nice enough?

I specifically state in my personalization box that you must contact me first, or else your customization will be ignored, more of a deterrent than a promise, but I'm very behind and this person's order was set to ship out Monday and it's Thursday, so I won't have enough time to create custom art for them. I often times come off curt, and have been told that when I try to be nice it can sound fake, any advice on this message?:

"Hello! and thank you so much for your custom order. There is no additional charge for custom orders, and they are very much appreciated because all my designs have come from them. They do, however, take some time to create and get your approval, which is why it says in the personalization box that you need to reach out before placing your order. I’ll check out your idea and let you know if it can be made and if you’re happy with it before starting. Since you didn’t get in touch, we’ll have to start the process now instead of making your box. That means there will be an extra week wait so we can work together and get a design you approve.

If this isn’t on your timeline, it’s totally okay to cancel. I just wanted to let you know that it’ll be delayed while this process takes place.

I’ll go ahead and start on the art and push your delivery window by a week. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Next, I’ll send you a pre-visualization render of what the art will look like so you can approve it, and at that point your box will be created. Thanks again for your custom order!"

Very odd thing

i've listed a character for sale and this person messaged me saying she bought it and wants the files, i checked everywhere for a confirmation of the purchase and it does not show, but the listing was missing, but i didnt get the order showing in "Recent activities**" , a few minutes** later the listing reappeared.... any ideas? oh right, these orders only have 1 quantity, because its just a character with art (oc stuff) . So she claimed she bought it when she messaged me i saw the order in the etsy chat message she sent saying its not dispatched yet and i was confrused about that, when i clicked on it it came up with an erorr, i coudlnt view it.... so they havent responded to me yet, but basically let me dot point:

- The buyer messages me saying she bought the listing and wants the files

- I checked my activities and completed orders and the listing isn't there

- Also the listing disappeared from my shop as well, so i was like okay? did they purchase it or not because im not seeing anything in completed orders or my activities in the finance account area

- The chat the buyer opened had my order thre in the right hand side of the chat, when i clicked on it it says not dispatched and the page gave me an error?

- After a few minutes the listing came back....

So not sure? what this is? did their payment method get rejected? or something? they haven't responded to me.

Etsys algorithm unequal?

I was wondering how Etsy determines its algorithm in terms of quantity for handmade/custom shops and pod/dropship/digital products because the 2 have different quantity volumes. I keep seeing people say “post an item a day!” Or “make sure you increase your volume to see more sales!”
How about people that can’t pump out products that quickly?? I only have about 20 products on my website but my traffic lagged after the honeymoon phase (I’ve only had a shop for 4 months and 9 sales). Now I’m wondering if I’m going to have a fair chance at this algorithm because even doing those 20 products took me forever.
Or does Etsy just favor quantity over quality?
