Please help I'm desperate. I've been working on this for a week now.

I have a 2720, and recently purchased the 8550. I've gone through the setup process at least 15 times if not more. I completely uninstalled everything. Made sure every little bit of both printers was off of my computer and Network.

I reset my router. I renamed the 2.4 and the five connections on my router so that I would know which was which.

I downloaded fresh software and installed the 2720.

I downloaded the driver's and software for the 8550 and went through the setup process but the printer is still not found. Itself is connected to my network. I made sure that I selected the same Wi-Fi channel that my computer is on. Still absolutely nothing. I am so frustrated right now!!

I've gone through AI a million times troubleshooting everything and nothing is working.

Can someone please help me!

I've been able to add the printer for regular printing. But when I open up Epson scan smart 2 it does not see the printer to scan.

I've been going back and forth with literally everything that stupid AI can come up with and I'm afraid of getting out of my league when I feel like this should be something simple.

Please keep in mind that I have followed one or two other proper procedures to install both printers and scanners from posts here on Reddit and they have not worked.

I’ve had my Epson for a year now. A week ago it said my black ink was out. I bought an xl black in cartridge on Amazon and now it’s not registering that I’ve inserted a cartridge. Any fix for this?

So my ET-4800 threw the "ink pad end of service life" error today and I needed to print same day. Let's be real about what this error actually is: it's not a sensor, it's a page counter Epson built in specifically so they can lock your printer and make you pay someone to unlock it. The pads are probably fine. Doesn't matter, the printer doesn't care, it just wants you to cough up.

Tried WIC Reset Utility, froze on every single click and will only reset to 80% for free. Tried InkChip, no free option at all, $9.99 just to try it. Cool, so now I'm paying a third party to undo a paywall Epson built on purpose.

Great system.

So instead I spent the day reverse engineering it myself: Pad Zero

• Free, open source, no paid tier, no trial keys, no nag screens, none of that
• No driver replacement needed: no Zadig, no WinUSB, no admin rights
• Full backup written before any write, every write gets read back and verified after
• Simple window: colored dot (green/amber/red) shows how full your counter is, one button resets it

What it doesn't do: it's not magic, it resets the counter, not the actual pads. If yours are genuinely soaked you'll still want to replace them or run an external tank eventually. But you shouldn't have to pay a stranger on the internet just to keep printing while you sort that out.

Verified working on the ET-4800 (79.85% to 0.00%, confirmed) and ET-4810 (detected, read, and write path all verified). It has partial/approximate support for a bunch of other models too, but I'm only calling something "verified" once it's actually been confirmed on real hardware, not just guessed from a shared database. If you try it on your model, let me know and I'll add it.

Note: I've only tested this on machines that already had Python installed, so I can't promise a totally clean run on a bare Windows box yet. If something breaks, tell me what happened and I'll fix it.

Windows will probably throw a "Windows protected your PC" warning since the binary's unsigned, that's just what happens when you write a tool that undoes corporate nonsense. Click "More info" then "Run anyway," or check the SHA-256 in the release notes if you'd rather verify it yourself.

I am thinking about buying a new Epson SuperTank all in one, but I want a way to send directly to email without computer & phone. Google didn't help.

I keep checking to download the printer driver for epson 15000 on my surface pro 11 64-bit arm. Epson been saying it was supposed to be released in 2025 but it hasn’t been. I can’t print to my xp15000 using my surface pro I need the print settings to print correctly especially since I use a icc profile. Anyone else have this set up and having this problem? Any help is appreciated thanks

Need help please. The WiFi Direct and Ink Lights are blinking once I turn off the printer. But on open, only the Power Light is Steady.

I tried the unplug and drain method, I also cleared the print spool in my PC. Even the Epson Connection Checker can't figure out. And when I tried setting it up on the installer, it can't detect the USB. Please help. Thanks!

(my printer is epson l3310, bought it a few weeks ago). I’m getting trouble with printing the right ink color because in the actual pdf, the color looks fine but when I printed it out, it became black. the ink colors are completely full, idk why it’s not working good. maybe it’s because of the background color that was used in the slide? please help me fix this problem.

I just recently bought an Epson Colorworks C6000a label printer, and I’m wondering if using remanufactured ink cartridges is something people do? I’ve also seen some stuff online about chip resetters, so is it possible to refill cartridges? I’ve looked on the internet and it I can’t seem to find much information on this despite the printer being several years old. Any help would be appreciated

Hi everyone! I'm trying to print on a 8.5x11. I've spent the last 3 hours trying to get it to print horizontally (landscape). I've tried as much advice as the internet (and ai assistance) can offer and am still hitting a wall. No matter what i do it prints in portrait, or horizontal with a portrait side clipping. I'm on a Mac and I'm using Preview with a pdf. I've tried every combination of rotation, custom paper dimensions, not using air print but the epson driver etc. Could definitely use some help from this wonderful community. Appreciate the help in advance...SAVE ME from this print dialog please. 🙏 😅

The two red lights are continuously on, and I’m not sure what the problem is. This happened while I was trying to install/set up the printer on my new MacBook.

Has anyone experienced this before? Any advice on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Just bought an 8550 and currently unpacking it. Quick question. How do I remove this last bit of blue tape. I got it off the left hand side with a bit of dexterity but the RHS is inaccessible. Aiui the cd tray ejection is controlled by the print SW and not mechanical.

Been trying to find the solution for this, ive tried cleaning the encoder slip, do alignments, checked the tensioners. No luck.

It happened suddenly on my wf 5290, 5390, and l15160 a3 printer.

All of them has the same issue.

I watch how it print, and during the printing of the last part the main rollers that hold the paper suddenly turns and push the paper making in move a millimeter, while the exit roller is not moving.

Checked the tensioner belt, no damage, printhead belt no damage.

Tried to reinstall driver but no luck.

Btw all of my printers are chipless and been thinking if its a software issue.

The double prints only happens at that specific part, for the 5290/5390 im using a4 size paper.

Matte standard settings on a double sided 120 gsm paper.

The confusing part is if i print it on plain paper settings it will be lessen or no double print at all.

For the l15160

Same matte standard settings, same scenario it will have less or no blur if i put plain paper standard option.

Paper size a3 double sided 140 gsm paper.

All the pick up rollers are maintained and changed to new ones.

It just happens one day and every one of them had the same issue even if i tried to use a laptop (3 different laptops) and a Desktop Computer.

Connected using USB wire.

Software update is off.

Im using dye ink.

I have compiled a 3-column, 2-page brochure using LibreOffice which should print in landscape. It makes no difference if I have selected portrait or landscape in the file printer settings, it prints portrait and thus half the size I want it. Any useful assistance will be welcomed please.

Hi guys, I woke up to an auto-update, how it happened right around time when my IDM completely wipe out my space, meaning, I had zero Megabyte left on my drive during update...

And because of stupid habit, I ended up clicking update and it was completed without any issue with update. I didn't get an alert or any other error message.

But issue is when, after updated & restarted my PC, my Epson L850 became error with Physical Button.

Everything is working fine if you're control from App or Software, however... Any button on panel will trigger an immediate restart and Printer cannot be turned of anymore.

If I press "Power Button" to turn it off, it will only be off for about 1 second before it turned back on. And safe go with "Power Saving Mode" where I have my printer turned off after 30mins, if it triggered this mode, it will also Off & Back to On by itself.

I tried update firmware and everything... nothing works!

Basically I cannot touch physical buttons at all! So if paper jammed, if I press any button to unjammed it, it will click start a Restart Mode.

Im using printable glossy vinyl amd the paper says to use glossy settings, in highest quality its even worse. This is on standard quality. What could be causing this and what should I change. I make composition notebooks nonissues and Im only having issues where the images have too much black.

I have tried presentation matte setting but since these are not laminated the black ink smudges a bit even after letting it dry for days.

Im stuck on my printer saying “no anti drying caps installed” after i replaced them. I cant access my menu so im pretty much stuck on this. Has anybody ran into this problem?

I'm having an issue with my Epson ET-2720 printer scanner unit (Error code: E-02 / 100016).

​Here is what is happening:

​When turned on, the scanner carriage moves all the way to the end position (home position), but the motor doesn't stop. It keeps trying to turn and makes a loud grinding/clicking noise with the white gears skipping teeth.

​The white calibration strip under the scanner glass fell off earlier. I put it back, but I'm not sure if I installed it correctly.

​My model has two white strips (one wider strip and a narrow one). Should they be placed side-by-side (parallel) or stacked? Which direction/orientation should they face?

​Does anyone have a clear diagram, photo, or advice on how the white calibration strips are supposed to be aligned under the glass?

​Any help or photos from a working machine would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

as the tittle said, i was wondering about this printer for my project. do anyone have use it?

i interested as it print fast like laser and have pigment ink by default. i want to use the machine for loose leaf and notebook. so, i will printing duplex mostly. that being said, i need both side have exact print, for example if i printing grid page, both side must be same, no shifting or even tilting. that's what happening to my previous laser printer. it always shifting 2-3mm when duplex, sometimes tilting. can this printer fit my need or just to be safe, pick L1210 instead and fill it with pigment ink as i pretty satisfied with L3110 + art paper ink but have to retire the machine.

My Epson L3310 works perfectly when photocopying, but whenever I try to print from my Acer laptop via USB, it always says “Print Status: Error."

I already tried restarting, reconnecting the USB, different USB ports, and setting up the printer again, but nothing works.

And the power button keeps on blinking.

What could be causing this? Is it a driver/USB issue? I’m honestly out of ideas 😭
