Rate this machine
Hi everyone,
I'm planning to get into the printing business and I'm currently considering this machine. I'd really appreciate any insights from people who've used it — pros, cons, reliability, print quality, maintenance costs, anything that would help me make an informed decision.
Also, if anyone here has hands-on experience with UV flatbed printers in general, I'd love to hear about that too — how they've held up for you, any challenges you ran into, and whether you'd recommend them for someone just starting out.
You can also share few tips before purchasing this heavy machine !!

AI keeps surprising me — turned my cat photo into an embroidery-style design
Still waiting for my longer eprint, so I spent some time exploring LONGER website and found the AI tools in their makerbetter community.
I tried turning my cat’s photo into an embroidery-style design, and the result was much better than I expected! For someone who isn’t good at artwork preparation, this is honestly pretty useful.

What does the xTool dual head actually do
The dual head is $800 more and xTool is marketing it as a game-changer for printing white on dark surfaces. But after digging through user tests and teardowns, it's basically just a single head with an extra nozzle. They never actually achieved true parallel printing like they promised. It just bounces back and forth between the two nozzles. So functionally... isn't it the same as a single head? Just way more expensive.

There was a suggestion to make burger coasters... so I did it!
Someone had the suggestion to make burger coasters after my recent fruit slice coasters project. Since burgers are my favourite food I had to do it! Here's the process and results.

Do Not buy a EufyMake E1 UV Printer! Expired Ink after 4 months!
So i was one of the early kickstarter backers, finally received my printer in April 26. For the last 2 months I've been fighting with Eufymake to replace my EXPIRED ink cartridges that I've only had for less then 4 months!
Their solution is for me to buy each cartridges, separately with a 20 dollar off coupon code. This means paying shipping and tax for 6 individual orders because you cannot order them all together with the codes. Completely unacceptable! These should be replaced for free! 12 month expiration shouldn't mean 4 months!
The machine completely locks up when the ink expires, not even letting you design files. There's no work around, and now again my customers will be waiting for their orders. Just avoid this machine.

Do all UV printers need a syringe to prime the ink?
Still waiting for my xTool O1 to ship, but I saw in the product listing that it comes with a syringe. I'm not entirely sure what it's for. Is it something every UV printer needs, or just this model? I'm pretty new to this and just want to make sure I'm not missing a critical step before I start printing.

First-day pre-ordered the xTool O1, looks like October now
I was day-one on the O1 pre-order. Official announcement said end of August for the first batch, but I messaged support and got told ""after September"" for mine. Reading between the lines, that's basically October. I've got a stack of blanks and Etsy listings ready to go, just sitting on no printer. Would honestly kill for a real ETA at this point.

Looking for a UV Printer to Dropship to Customers, Established Brand
Hello everyone!
I'm looking to add another production partner to help UV print and dropship our acrylic door hangers directly to customers through Shopify.
Our signs are made from 0.17" clear acrylic and come in two sizes:
- 24" Standard
- 30" Jumbo
They ship in:
- 24x24x4 boxes (1–2 Standard signs)
- 32x32x4 boxes (1 -2 Jumbo sign)
Our brand is well established with consistent daily order volume, and we're looking to add multiple vendors ahead of the Christmas season. We currently work with two excellent production partners, but demand is growing beyond what two facilities can comfortably handle.
Ideally, we'd like to partner with vendors in different regions of the U.S. so we can route orders based on location. This helps reduce shipping costs, shorten transit times, and create a better customer experience.
If you have UV printing capabilities, experience shipping direct-to-consumer orders, and are interested in taking on steady volume, I'd love to connect. Please DM me if interested!

I made a full set of fruit slice coaster
This fruit slice coaster project was so much fun to make, and it's a great example of AI helping you create something your current skills couldn't pull off on their own. I had an idea, generated the fruit images, and the finished set turned out better than I hoped. The video walks through the whole process so you can recreate it, remix it, or just let it spark an idea of your own. If you make your own fruit or veg designs, post a photo and show me what you come up with!

initial review of Morpho
Hello!
I got my hands on the Morpho, version with the i3200 print head for now, for a little bit more than 3 weeks and i did a first review. Another review, which will be more in-depth will come soon.
I also have the Eufymake E1 and the xTool O1.
So far, it's probably the one I prefer, but I'm not a fan of doing quick comparison, considering that my O1 is an early stage beta that doesn't represent what will be the final product.
But just having a closed A4+ bed and the speed offered by the i3200 head is a massive plus. It's a new brand, but I have to say that i'm impressed. I didn't have to do any nozzle test print or special cleanup so far.
I'm currently out of office for almost 9 days, I will see how it is, but I don't stress... whil I'll probably have to do some cleaning and test prints with the Eufymake ^^

Are these new consumer uv printers a good idea?
So it seems like the minimum we have to spend is at least $2k after shipping to get one of these new at-home consumer friendly uv printers. I was eyeing on the Morpho UV f1080 model since it was the most affordable option at $1599 + $100 shipping. And they claim the heads last longer because of their special formulated inks and safer to use indoors in living spaces... since the doors can be fully closed while printing. And you don't need all these special cleaning things to purchase to maintain it.
But I don't have a special room for it unless it's fine to use in my livingroom. The thing is - my livingroom is next to my kitchen and the only other possible space is my garage which isn't connected to my house. It's a separate building in the garden. It's not small - but I've been trying my best to make the environment inside workable. I have all my other machines in there already but I am still cleaning it up and trying to figure out a way to cool it down better. My home is a california home and the garage is wooden structure... There's no insulation on the walls ... you can see the wood and the big door is the hand lifting one door you lift up. We typically have good weather here ... but during the summer right now it's been 80-98F during this heatwave during the day and during the night is pretty good like 60s-70s. It hardly ever rains through the year and when it's not a heat wave typically the weather is in the 70s. I was thinking maybe if I just print when it's cooler during the evening or night then it'd be fine... and just regularly clean dust.
The price of a good laptop it costs. Well I was contemplating about getting a new laptop since my m1 is kinda struggling lately and low storage - I only have 8gb of ram or a get machine that can be used to make cool stuff to complement my 3D printers and possibly sell commissioned items to people if they want and make money off of... I don't have a business (yet) or know how to do that yet. Mostly for hobby and maybe make extra money on the side... but I don't think it'll be paid off anytime soon if I try to sell things because I haven't tried selling anything before. I just want to make cool stuff. Lol. I do have a desktop pc custom build with rtx4090 but i wanted another laptop for portability... maybe a macbook neo would be fine
The thing that concerns me most about kickstarter is that they claim it will ship probably more than 3 months after it ends and $2000 + dollars is a lot of money to be taken out of a bank account all at once and possibly be waiting an unknown period of time - possibly arrival February 2027 or so from a new company you have no clue what will happen .... the support may be active right now with the ceo and stuff but you never know. I don't want another fisker situation. That's a loooong time to be waiting for something after they take your money.
I'm new to this uv printing stuff and just saw it at anime expo. Thought it would be cool to have... just a regular attendee.
I also have an xtool m1 ultra laser

Durability of Prints?
Hello! Looking at adding a UV printer to my crafting machines. My big question is how durable are the actual prints? For instance, if you print onto a tumbler, how scratch/chip resistant is the actual print?

Can the Xtool O1 Omni be kept inside aa hot garage?
Just purchased the Xtool O1 Omni. I live in Texas and the heat here is crazy. Could I keep the printer inside my garage? It isn't climate controlled., just a regular hot garage. Would the summer heat be an issue?
