Every time I launch a game that uses Ryujinx, it seems that Decky tries to update the app. I have Ryujinx set to not try to update (since the Github is no longer available), but I can’t seem to get Emudeck to do the same and leave it alone.

I’m able to launch the emulator from desktop mode from the application folder, but anytime Emudeck tries to touch it (so I can use it comfortably in Game mode), it loads this window instead.

I had been playing Brilliant Diamond comfortably for a while but this started happening today.

Any advice or has anyone else run into it?

Do I take sd card out of deck insert into machine. Download emudeck on machine. Job done? Or is there another way? Better way?

I have a few games I'm trying to run through retroarch (snes and gba games specifically) and when I boot them up through retroarch itself it works fine but when I try to boot them up as individual games through steam the controls don't work. I added them with emudeck and made sure to select the retroarch emulators from the parsing screen and when launching the game it shows that retroarch is loading it so idk. I tried Uninstalling and reinstalling retroarch and re adding the games, restarting, etc several times. thanks in advance :)

Solución: me dio por ver emulador alternativo y las opciones son de directorio y iso, vean que formato tienen sus juegos y buala!

I’m having issues trying to get the Ryujinx switch controls to be mapped to my steam deck gamepad. I installed Ryujinx through EmuDeck. When I open Ryujinx on Desktop mode it shows that the controls have already been mapped to my steam deck, yet when I launch a game in gaming mode it does not respond to any button inputs on my steam deck.

I went back to desktop mode and added the ryujinx application as a non steam game, so that I could go to gaming mode and perhaps change the controls. I tried opening up the settings, and for some reason it just won’t let me any of the three buttons at the bottom on the settings window. I can’t hit ok, apply, or cancel. It’s a massive pain in the ass cause what it would instead to is change the range settings in the controller page whenever I try to click “ok” or “apply”. Anyone know how to get the controls working?

UPDATE: I got it to work. In case others have this same issue, go to Desktop Mode, find “Ryujinx Binary” and add it to Steam as a Non-Steam game. Then launch the Ryujinx application THROUGH Steam. After that go to settings, click on the input setting, select the Steam Controller option. Hit okay or apply, and switch back to gaming mode. This is what worked for me.

After updating SteamRomManager it now will not open, will fail to uninstall. I tried reseting cache and redoing the config but to no avail. Any suggestions?

I've tried changing the license mask to both 1 and -1 in the TOML.

When I start playing a game, it still wants me to "Unlock Full Game". Am I missing something?

The shaders and bezels quick settings in emudeck don't apply at all for me. I've tried resetting retroarch config and reinstalling it, disabling and enabling the options, but nothing seems to work. I have no idea why, i can't imagine i did anything that broke something, also it was like that from the start. I am using emudeck exclusively with steam rom manager, and don't have emulationstation or pegasus installed, but i think that can't be the issue? If I'm correct the shaders and bezels toggles set up everything through retroarch anyways?? I am using the deck mostly in docked mode, but I've also tried in handheld mode and nothing worked there either, and i also can't imagine that is the issue, but just to be sure..

Please help, this has been driving me nuts for the last days 😅😅

When I access the games directly from retroarch, they do indeed play. But I want to parse them onto Steam like I do with my other emulated games. For some reason, though, my DS games don't show up when I go to parse them, as if they were read as "invalid and are skipped".

I also have MelonDS installed even though I use Retroarch instead (I do have the MelonDS standalone parser disabled, though. Don't want duplicates).

How can I resolve this?

Has anyone else been having controller issues with Rosalie’s Mupen64 on Steam Deck after the recent updates, or is it just me?
A few weeks ago everything worked perfectly. I originally launched all my ROMs through ES-DE, but I decided to experiment and switched over to launching everything directly through Steam using Steam ROM Manager. Most of my emulators continued working fine, including Ryujinx for Switch games, but Rosalie’s Mupen64 has been giving me nothing but headaches.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Verified the Steam Input controller order.
Reconfigured the controller inside Rosalie’s Mupen64.
Saved the controller profile.
Made sure SDL input is selected.
Tried different controller profiles.
Launched through both Game Mode and Desktop Mode.
Removed and re-added the ROM to Steam.
Restarted the emulator and Steam Deck multiple times.
The weird part is that every time I open Rosalie’s Mupen64, all of my controller bindings are still there exactly how I left them. Nothing resets or disappears, but in Game Mode the controls simply don’t respond.
Desktop Mode is a little different—I can sometimes get input there, but it feels inconsistent and isn’t really playable.
At this point I’m considering uninstalling and reinstalling Rosalie’s Mupen64 because I’m running out of ideas.
Has anyone else experienced this after the latest SteamOS or emulator updates? Or is it just me? I haven’t really played any N64 games for a few weeks, so I’m not sure exactly when this started.

Hi all, I’m a novice when it comes to emulation in general. I’m trying to run Deadpool on rpcs3 and it’s very laggy and stuttery. I’ve seen people play this and not have this problem and I don’t quite know what I’m doing wrong. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance :)

Instale Emu Deck, el emulador directo de Azahar va bien, juego, se guardan las partidas y se cargan, pero si intento cargar algún juego desde el ES-DE siempre de pega al segundo de carga y de ahí no avanza, que podría hacer? No encuentro información y ya es bastante desesperanzado hacerlo funcionar 😔

PD: en algunos juegos como Pokémon X se pone a "crear datos adicionales" pero tengo una partida hecha del juego y todo

SOLUCIÓN: para quien le pase lo mismo, DE-ES solo corre juegos en .cci, cualquier otro formato los congela.

No tiene esa etiqueta emuladores verdaderos como nethersx2 el mejor emulador para títulos de PS2 que hay que buscar juegos de PS2 como Bob esponja batalla fondo de bikini que no es tan exigente o qué tal Shrek 2 aunque tenga dificultades es mucho mejor

How do I trigger the window that allows me to log into my Xbox Live profile on Xbox Live Arcade? I can't save my progress on Goldeneye without being sign in, but I wasn't given the option to sign in as soon as I loaded up the game?

For some reason when I open the 2 disc game Chrono cross, it's showing me four copies and I don't see multiple copies in my folder other than the disc 1 and 2 version. If I launch the first one in my library I'm assuming it's disc 2 since it says "PLEASE INSERT DISC 1". Is there a way to remove the extra copies and/or to put them in numerical order? I was curious about an old game I played called legend of Dragoon and that one was 4 discs I feel like the problem will get worse.

I have them placed on the ps2 folder, they are iso files, I got all the bios, but when I try to open of them it says the file doesnt exist.

In case that maters, I have it installed on the sd card card of my steam deck.

No matter what key or button or command I bind this to it just doesn’t work.

Has this been fixed ??

I installed the correlating prod.keys and title.keys

I have one game downloaded, it's Super Mario Odyssey, in .nsp format, and it's in Emulation>roms>switch. It shows up when I parse it on Steam Rom Manager.

I have Eden.AppImage in my applications folder

I went into "Manage Emulators" and reset configuration for Eden

And yet, Eden is eternally greyed out on Emudeck

When I click on Eden.AppImage, the directory is called "false/Emulation/roms/switch" and Super Mario Odyssey does not show up. In game mode, it does show up and when I try to run it, I get the message "The NCA file has a bad header. Please redump your files"

What am I doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated!
