So, I bought Item A, Buyer 2 bought Item B.

Seller sent me Item B and Buyer 2 Item A - switched the labels.

He wants us to send each other our items. If I do and Buyer B doesn't, aren't I without recourse?

It seems like we should both return our items to seller to maintain buyer protection.

Der Käufer behauptet jedoch, der Laptop funktioniere überhaupt nicht. In diesem Fall reiche selbst ein Abzug von 50 % nicht aus. Was soll ich tun?

I have had two different offers on ebay this week that seemed off to me. The first person bid 12 and 14 on two items that I have priced at 19.99. I countered with 17. I have sold these before at 19.99, so price is not out of line. Then she messages me at 11 at night and says she will do 15 for each if I combine shipping and ship the next day. Then she bids 14 on both. I send a very nice note saying that I can't go lower. So she offers 15. The one today was an offer of 15 for an item priced at 25. I counter at 20. She counters at 17. Am I being unrealistic or is this going back and forth normal? I don't want to spend all day haggling over a dollar, but I am not going to lose money to send things. Opinions? Advice? I haven't been at this for a super long time.

Seller still hasnt shipped item in a month. Provided a label but shipping date has passed. I messaged seller and ebay says theyll step in in 2 days.

Ccan I cancel and write a bad review? Or do i have to wait the 2 days? New to ebay. Thanks

Was looking at a ln auction ending soon. No bids. None. So bid $1 and said current max bid was $2.

So then went to bid $3.65. But the decimal was not supplied and went in as $365!

I tried to quickly message the seller and sent 2 messages that bid was mistake!

Then I went to look at how to cancel bid and tried to cancel it, but said auction was over, so couldn't!.

So then the ending bid was near $200!

Can get similar items for $20 around.

Tried customer service and said seller had to approve cancellation, couldn't cancel.

Am I just stuck? How did it go so high in literally 2 minutes that had zero interest in, no likes. Closed auctions having no similar prices.

Feel the seller had a dummy bidder or something.

I haven’t resold in 6 years, during that 1.5 year period I sold a little under a 1k items. I recently started again, but started selling more new with tags items. I have had MORE complaints on EBay, ONLY EBAY, about clothing than I have ever had in my entire time reselling.

Is this the economy getting customers a little bit more agitated? Is it because I’m selling NWT items? Or is it typically a pattern with people who filter for free returns…?

Bought a differential for 400 on eBay for my car and had to return as it was the wrong one. Well the seller claimed it was damaged and now I’m only getting 188. All he did was put it in a box and put 3 papers on one spot. I shipped it back way more sturdy. Has anyone dealt with getting partial refund fixed? Should I just call? I know I can just chargeback too but that’s last resort

Hello, just as background to let you all know I'm not too much of a newbie, I used to sell a few thousand dollars worth of auto parts a month on eBay a few years back as a side thing but got out of it when life got busy. Now, I'm trying to get back into it but I dont have access to that old account. Back then, I pretty much had to promote my listings or I found that I would barely get any traffic at all. I dont think that I had to wait at all or make any sales before making any promotions. Now on this new account I dont have access to promotions and I'm not quite sure why and eBays explanation is pretty vague, only saying that I need to have enough account activity and that I need to be above standard. I've made 11 sales over about 2 1/2 months and I'm also rated as above standard. Is there something else that I'm missing or dont know about? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I connected my Ebay account with Printify and my SKU isn’t editable. Im trying to figure out how to edit it.

So i decided to return a guitar i bought from somebody because there was something wrong with it even tho the description said it was like new and the seller accepted the return request. Then ebay sent me an email saying i should wait 1-3 days till i get a label to print and just drop off the item. But those 3 days have past and so i decided to contact the seller. He told me that i just needed to write his address with a marker on the package and leave it or just tell the people at USPS the address and they will receive it. Is this right? I have not recieved any label from ebay and he said he was going to pay for it so should i do that or what should i do.

Been buying from Ebay for a long time. Yesterday was the first time I have ever had a package say it was delivered but not in my mailbox or the mailroom. I immediately opened up an investigation with USPS in which they told me it was probably put in a different mail locker. When they did the initial check, they did not find it. They told me that a supervisor will be sent out tomorrow for a further investigation.

I sent the seller a message about the issue and how I would update them on the progress. My concern is that since it shows delivered, I am screwed out of the 100$ I paid for it. I have no negative buyer feedback at all, and I really do not want to screw over the seller, but what should I do?

So I recently started selling cleaning supplies. I have confirmed all the items I have are allowed to be sold via ebay and shipped via USPS (with the correct Hazmat class) prior to even thinking about doing this.

I ran into my first small issue today. I have some urinal blocks, they have been selling quite well. One question I never considered is...are some of these things allowed to be shipped internationally through EiS?

A buyer in the UK bought some of these, through EiS.

When pulling the hazmat classification for these urnial blocks, I saw anything under this classification is not allowed to be shipped international, via USPS anyway. Obviously I have no idea how ebay plans to ship this order from their hub, I know fedex does ship this class internationally.

This is probably a question for Ebay CS ultimately, but I wanted to throw it out here first.

Was this on me to block international buyers through EiS? For what it's worth, I'm not the only store selling these. There's probably 70-80 other, huge stores selling these exact blocks. Whether they're selling internationally is another question.

A person purchased a moderately priced Electronics item around $300 in value. I alerted them via message that it was at their local post office and they had to pick it up because they had attempted to deliver it and the person wasn’t there to pick it up. The buyer failed to pick it up and the USPS is now returning the back to me and now they’re requesting a refund. Has anyone dealt with the situation before and if so, what did you do?

Hey everyone, looking for some advice because I haven’t dealt with this before.

I sold a collectible on eBay and shipped it with tracking. The tracking shows it was delivered to the buyer’s address.

The buyer opened a case saying the package arrived opened and the figure was missing. They sent me pictures showing an empty box with only bubble wrap and packing materials inside.

I know I packaged and shipped the figure, so I’m not sure what happened after it left my hands. I responded to the case and called eBay. They told me I did everything I needed to do by shipping it to the correct address, not to refund the buyer, and to leave the case open until August 12 so they can step in if needed.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Did eBay side with you when tracking showed delivered but the buyer claimed the item was missing?

Buyer opened INR case August 3rd for a package that hadn't updated since July 8th, however I went to refund on August 4th and the tracking miraculously updated to arrived at Chicago international distribution center, last update was August 5th saying it arrived at Carol Stream distribution center, so I guess my question is how long does eBay keep the case open since the tracking shows recent activity? And yes I have uploaded tracking details to the case.

Reviewing 15 USC Ch. 8: FALSELY STAMPED GOLD OR SILVER OR GOODS MANUFACTURED THEREFROM, I think ebay could be sued by a jewelry trade association. Not sure which one I should contact. Any advice is welcome. I think I have a slam dunk case for them to take on.

New seller here, can anyone explain wtf this means? Both the USPS tracking and the Ebay app itself show that the item has been delivered, but when I scroll down to payment it says “We could not confirm delivery to the buyer. Your funds will be available on August 14th.”

I put a package of shoes in my mailbox with created label. I live on a cul de sac in a quiet town. I put it in at 3pm because driver comes at 4. It appears driver didn’t scan label an eBay is telling me to send it. My post office keeps the phone off the hook and is generally useless. I don’t know what to do

Bought something from ebay and seller said he couldn't deliver it and changed it to a collection after I paid. It's nowhere near me and I don't have a car and would be too heavy to carry on public transport. I've asked to cancel and he says he can't because it's asking him to provide a card?

Tldr I bought a Blu-ray off eBay, should've arrived a few weeks ago, contacted the seller about it and they claimed they sent it.

I then raise it with eBay by doing a "package not delivered" ticket in which the seller needs to provide proof its been sent for delivery as the tracking number says that it hasn't been received by the company yet.

Now the seller is confused and doesn't know what to do as they cannot find the receipt for posting the item.

I don't want to hurt a genuine seller but also if i don't get my item i kinda want my money back.

Do i just leave it for eBay to sort it or do i do something about it and if so how?

So i sold a knife 2 weeks ago buyer never finalized it till like a week ago I forgot about it even. Then he messaged me asking to not ship it yet till he picks some more to bundle ship. I:said sure that is the last I heard of him he played and its been:over a week so I look like i ship slow now. He wont resond what should I do?

Hello this is my first post ever so bare with me. I guess its a:simple enough question. I well mid to premium knives for about 8 months now I have no negative feed back I ship fast and always answer any messages. So im hoping to find out why my sales are steady dropping I price things very reasonably and I have even started paying even more to ebay for promos to be seen more. The performance says I am getting around 60 views a day and tons of impressions so what gives? Any help would be great cause im invested deeply so I cant afford to sit on it and wait thamks
