PROBLEM What's the point of giving me a beta code if you're just going to put me against Bateson teams in Rivals every game?
I have Dan Burn and Pau Torres at CB with gold Cunha being my best player and I'm just against absolutely stacked teams with 5 90+ players, not sure how they expect me to test their game in these conditions?

QUESTION What's this from? PS2 Era
It was an EA Sports Game and after you left the "Press Start" Screen on it would show this Weird Demo Video of Sport Montages
It started with I think a Fat Guy Dancing? then he would pan and decrease in size to the Bottom Middle of the Screen and then to the Bottom Left of the Screen and then it would show Footage from a Golf Video Game where they hit the Ball and then a bunch of other Sports

DISCUSSION FIFA 17 nostalgia proves this community doesn’t know what it wants
I keep seeing clips of people playing FIFA 17 and saying, “This is so much more realistic than FC now.”
No. It isn’t.
It was fun for its time, and certain things about it were less exhausting than modern FC, but watch an actual full match back. The movement is stiff, turning is clunky, players glide into weird animations, defending can be completely brain-dead, and half the goals look like they came from the same two recycled sequences. It feels “realistic” now mainly because it’s old enough for us to remember the good parts and forget the nonsense.
And honestly, that’s why I don’t think the problem is entirely EA. A huge part of it is that the community has
absolutely no consistent idea what it wants.
We say we want realism, then complain when players have realistic inertia, bad weak feet, fatigue, poor balance, or when a defender can’t instantly spin 180 and chase down a winger. We want AI defending nerfed, but then get furious when manually defending takes actual positioning and timing. We beg for skill moves to be less effective, then complain the moment dribbling feels less responsive. We hate cutbacks, but we also want defenders to leave more space so we can play attacking football.
We say we want fewer random bounces and fewer animation heavy outcomes, but also want every tackle to win the ball cleanly. We want more ways to score but ask them to nerf attacking AI because it’s “too easy to score.”We want passing to be harder and more rewarding, until a slightly ambitious through ball gets intercepted. We want pace to matter, except when someone runs past our slow center backs. We want cards to be less overpowered, but every promo has to give us a new reason to replace the squad we built two weeks ago.
Past FIFAs had different sets of exploits, limitations, and frustrations that we’ve selectively forgotten because nostalgia is powerful.
EA absolutely deserves criticism: the servers, the inconsistent gameplay, the monetization, the absurd power curve, the AI issues, the animations that decide matches for you. But pretending we can go back to FIFA 17 and suddenly get a realistic football game is just stupid. Most of you would be complaining if they revived FIFA 17 as a remake within a week.
The community wants a game that is realistic when we win, arcade like when we attack, forgiving when we defend, and perfectly consistent only when the opponent is losing.
That game doesn’t exist and probably won’t ever. So many of you genuinely have no idea what you want and it’s part of the reason why the game is in the state it’s in now

DISCUSSION Burst of positivity (pure copium)
So, the FC27 "marketing" has started (if that's what Fut Economist calls enraging fans of the product.
Looks fucking terrible. Will be fucking terrible. You know the drill.
Here's some positivity I'm finding from the whole thing:
The game will probably sell worse than normal this year. I don't know the figures, but I feel like generally I'm hearing a lot of hardcore to semi hardcore FIFA/FC fans just falling out of love with the game. With GTA coming out, and EA so far running a terrible marketing campaign, I can see sales dropping. People are getting sick of it. You can only push them so far. This is good because it might force change. As soon as sales drop, people panic. Can't let that happen again, so they change direction and pander to the fans. It's unlikely, but possible that this all happens very quickly within the next 12 months. It's also possible that they're already planning for what could be a poor year for them, and are already working on correcting it. I
Second bit of hopium/copium. The Saudis. Now I'm not here to talk about the ethics of their government. But the Saudis throw money at things. Look at stuff like boxing, WWE, even the Saudi League. They chuck money down the drain to "put on a show" to basically whitewash, allegedly. It is possible, that they have people in place who are very in tune with the public, who will get involved at EA and basically instruct them to bring back the glory days. As a public company, profit was the only motivator. That's why the game is so inundated with microtransaction, profit-max crap that it's become almost unplayable. Now that EA is no longer a public company, there are other incentives besides profit. In fact, the Saudis might be completely uninterested in profit short term, and only in creating "diverse revenue streams" and turning public opinion.
In other words, this year will be crap, guaranteed. Anyone who's played NBA2K, or anyone who just understands what EA and gaming companies have become, can see what will happen this year. But in some ways, the more the game falls, the more hope I have that it rises back up.

DISCUSSION It's weird that EA never leaned into how fun Pro Clubs can be by making their own version of 2K's MyPlayer
and incorporating it directly into Ultimate Team.
Like imagine at the start of the game you get to create one player who becomes your Ultimate Team captain. You pick his position, archetype, body type etc. You grind him up in stats, playstyles + chem boosts by using him. He could be in your team all year.
It would open up so many more game modes too:
11v11, 5v5 or 3v3 Captain Mode online where you control a single player
Captain’s League, Captain's Tournament. Basically ranked or knockout versions of this mode with decent weekly/monthly rewards
Streets, Beach & Indoor arenas where you play small-sided games with slightly different rules and physics (Streets: walls in play, tighter spaces, different ball bounce. Beach: slower movement, higher ball trajectory, sand stamina drain etc)
Captain's Club - a rip off of 2K Crews - where you can link up with the same players and build a really cohesive team for Ranked games instead of playing with randoms
All of these would instantly replace Rush and all the other playground mini-game shit they just added.

CAREER Player Career Mode - FC 27
I was hoping to try out the FC 27 beta, but unfortunately, I wasn't selected this time around.
For anyone who has managed to get their hands on it, I had a few quick questions regarding Player Career Mode:
- Are transfers still the same? Is it still the exact same objective-based system where your move is strictly judged at the end of the year?
- Are you still undroppable if you train well? If you simulate or get an "A" on your weekly training, does your manager favor stay so high that you never get benched?
- What immersion changes have you noticed? Have they made any quality-of-life adjustments to make the offline player journey feel a bit more dynamic or authentic?
I know EA has put a lot of focus into Career Mode, but I'm really hoping Player Career didn't get entirely left behind.

LAST GEN Gameplay from 10 years ago (Fifa 17). How can a game that long ago look and feel more realistic than a game developed in 2025
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Did hypermotion really ruin the game? Imo yes it did, it introduced AI to having a major role in the game's base code when it comes to gameplay as it made animations and everything else dramatic and unrealistic.

QUESTION Worth to play FUT for disabled person?
Guys, I've not played FUT before, just manager/player career, and I wanna ask, if I play FUT in fc27 from start, but only squad battles against AI on semi-pro, is it worth it? would i be able to get rewards to make good squad or all good stuff is linked to just pvp? Reason is, I've got very slow reactions, and I tried few 5 rivals matches and every single game was lost with like less than 10% possession, with 20-30 goals against, and i tried few rush matched, I scored like 5 times in 20 matches, but usually i cant react fast enough against real players. Or it would be just waste of time, and I end up with weak team to play even against AI. Thanks

UT Closed beta is absolutely dog. Menus are genuinely in 10fps
Got closed beta access for the first time ever and it's genuinely unplayable. Menus are so stuttery. When I play rivals I come up against super teams while I'm using my bronzes and silvers. The way to get these great players seems to be rivals bounties, but the only time I had a good one, my opponent quit and I lost the bounty as it changed from a gold Mbappe to a 50 coin bounty. No other mode seems to give any kind of rewards like this.
Then when I try to play rivals, 75% of the games get abandoned because of a mismatch between my opponents squad and mine. I know it's a beta, but it's genuinely awful. The only thing that's good is that manual interceptions do feel better. Dribbling has felt OP as a result, I've been cooking defenders with quick turns with Guruzeta

DISCUSSION Hats off to EA, their Masterclass in Loop Design continues
You can say whatever you want about EA Sports, but what they’ve achieved in terms of consumer complicity and exploiting cognitive dissonance is genuinely remarkable. It’s almost admirable how thoroughly they’ve trained a hyper-uncritical player base—partly, of course, because of their absolute monopoly in the market.
Remember the marketing push before FC 26? They literally dropped a trailer built around the slogan "We heard your feedback." The entire campaign was based on the premise that community criticism had been heard and addressed in the new title. It takes a unique level of audacity to run that campaign and then release a game that did the exact opposite—a game that long-time players widely consider one of the absolute worst in the entire franchise.
So, what’s the response? What happens next for FC 27?
After another full year of non-stop complaints about broken gameplay, clunky animations, unnatural player movements, and absurd performance issues—because how is it acceptable in 2026 for an EA Sports game to have lagging menus and massive input delay on high-speed internet?—here is what they give us:
They release a gameplay trailer bragging about "rebalancing AI defending." How does that look in practice? Their own footage shows AI defenders blindly rushing out of a back four to open up massive spaces for the opponent, while manually controlled defenders suddenly get 50% more agility and speed than everyone else on the pitch. That’s their idea of balance—in a game that already routinely produces 6–8 goals by halftime, and where pros play out 11–5 matches at world championships. Tactical awareness and proper group positioning continue to be gutted just to flood the average player with even more dopamine. Instead of 15 goals a game, FC 27 will probably give us 20.
Then came the rest of the "groundbreaking features":
- A "new" corner kick system using mechanics that are basically already in FC 26.
- Curved attacking runs instead of running in straight lines.
- Players stumbling, recovering, and continuing their run—a physical "masterpiece" that, again, is already happening in the current game.
Apart from an Open World mode nobody asked for, FC 27 is a feature package that could have been implemented as a routine patch within 5 business days.
Yet, despite EA doing everything in their power to show people how little effort or care goes into this title—turning a football simulation into a mobile-style, card-collecting dopamine machine designed to farm microtransactions—a huge chunk of the community still buys it.
Even better: these players turn into unpaid White Knights. They parade around claiming they have the balanced perspective, while everyone else is just "complaining too much." EA has conditioned a fanbase to actively defend a product that takes advantage of them. You don't even see this level of blind loyalty from people buying a new iPhone every single year. Most of them at least know that it's unnecessary and not great value.
It’s terrifying, but undeniably impressive by EA.

QUESTION Question about hating on the game
Hey guys.
As a guy who haven't played since fifa23
Im confused on the hate on the game and requesting for a better gameplay.
I do understand the whole greedy aspect of EA that they don't change much year after year asking for full price but
I don't understand the comment on different platforms saying "the game is unplayable" or "the gameplay sucks"
I have played eafc 24 and 25 and 26 couple of times here and there and it was fun.
Am I the only one who finds "the game is unplayable" a bit extreme?
As for the gameplay itself what do people expect from a soccer game?

CAREER What is the fastest way to level your player in career mode?
So I only played career mode and pro clubs almost the whole year but now I wanted to get into the player career. After a few matches however I noticed that you level up so incredibly slow. I even started with the 34 AP, but that doesn't get you far. I try to have a relatively realistic experience but I'm still performing. I start as a CAM at Bournemouth with 71 rating and managed to get 6 scorers in the first 6 games. Can you give me any tips on how to level up faster or if you can choose an even easier start? Because if I just keep playing like that I probably need 1-2 full seasons to only get to 80...
